Was an absolutely amazing trip. The boat was incredible! The food was amazing! Don't fill up on breakfast at your hotel, you are going to be fed a lot and the food was amazing. Alan was our guide and was fabulous! Excellent English and incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Have taken tours across the globe and his was possibly the best. And the orangutans! Incredible! And the day ended at sunset along the river bank with an absolutely magical firefly display! Could not have been better. From the cook, captain, deckhand, and our guide Alan. You will not be disappointed and be prepared to be completely amazed! Also, the communication during our original planning and leading all the way up to our hotel pickup was greatly appreciated. A top notch operation top to bottom!!

Food was delicious, crew was always on hand to help and would stop the boat for sightings.

Our 4 days, 3 nights boat tour with Orangutan Applause was absolutely incredible. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our boat crew and tour guide were so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the wildlife was out of this world. We also loved the canoe ride through the black river. Seeing the Orangutans was a humbling and magical experience. We will never forget it. The team went above and beyond with checking in on flight delays and helping us navigate them - truly went above and beyond for us. Thank you again for such an memorable time.

We had a really fun and adventurous trip to see the orangutans directly. We love the facilities that the boat had, the food was really delicious it energized us to have the trekking inside the jungle. We do really love that we could blend in with the nature, seeing more of the floras and faunas. Overall, we really love the experience, really recharging, really entertaining with the natures, also entertaining with the facilities of the boat and the food.

 I also want to mention the boat crew. They were so kind and attentive. They always made sure our beds and the dining area were clean and comfortable. Every time we came back from trekking, everything was already tidy and ready for us. It made the whole experience feel so relaxing and well taken care of.

Other than spending some time during the holidays with my youngest sister who lives in Indonesia, this was the highligt of my trip! I booked this as a gift to my mom and sister and did not regret it. Ami was a knowledgeable, kind and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. We saw so many Orangutans as well as other monkeys! Ample time was provided at each stop and our guide made sure to show us other flora and fauna on the walk in and out, so we learned so much about Borneo. The cook was a wonderful woman who provided such filling a delicious meals! It was nice to float along the river and relax from the stress of day to day and I even spotted an Orangutan hanging out as we floated by. The captain and second captain were awesome, too, they expertly guided the boat through the river and got us tied up so we could get to shore. Thank you, Ami and crew for a truly unforgettable experience
