The stairs are sturdy, have spots to stop at and have a railing to hang on to. Once at the top, you can choose to walk around the Bromo caldera (sand surface).NoteAs this area is relatively new to foreign tourism, most drivers speak very basic English and Jeep operators may not speak any English at all. However your host will organise all the relevant details in advance and you will have access to your host via Whatsapp during the trip.
