What to expectTransfers Included: We'll whisk you away from your hotel in Surabaya or Malang at midnight, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride directly to the Bromo area.Jeep Journey to the Summit: Hop into a sturdy 4x4 Jeep and hold on tight as we ascend Mount Penanjakan/Seruni. You'll arrive in the early hours of the morning, ready to witness the magic unfold.Sunrise Spectacle: Secure your place at a prime viewpoint and prepare to be amazed as the sky lights up with vibrant colors, unveiling the striking silhouette of Mount Bromo. Your host will guide you to one of the following sunrise spots:Penanjakan : The most popular and crowded spot and the highest viewpoint, known for its classic sunrise shots.King Kong Hill : Offers nearly the same view as Penanjakan with fewer crowdsSeruni Point : Similar to Penanjakan with slightly different angles and less crowdedLove Hill : Closer to the Caldera, a more intimate and romantic setting.Bukit Prau : Less well-known and typically used for camping, but might not have the most direct angle of the volcano itself*While you may have the option to choose a location, your host will recommend the best spot based on conditions that day, ensuring you avoid crowds or fog for the optimal experienceSea of Sand Exploration: After the sunrise, we'll take you to the base of Mount Bromo, where you'll embark on a walk across the otherworldly "Sea of Sand."Ascend to the Crater: Prepare to be amazed as you climb the 250 steps to the crater's edge. Please note that the journey from Bromo to Tumpak Sewu takes 4 hours, and the trek at the waterfall will take 3-4 hours. From Tumpak Sewu to Surabaya, the ride will take approximately 5 hours.This package does not include a Bromo local guide. You will be picked up by a Jeep driver, who will drop you at the viewpoint. If you’d like to learn more about Bromo’s history and culture, a local guide is available as an add-on and will meet you once you arrive at Bromo.Fitness levelsYou won't need to be fit to visit Mount Bromo as it's mainly a Jeep ride and some stairsThe stairs at Bromo are 240 steps that takes 20-30 minutes to climb. The stairs are sturdy, have spots to stop at and have a railing to hang on to. Once at the top, you can choose to walk around the Bromo caldera (sand surface).NoteAs this area is relatively new to foreign tourism, most drivers speak very basic English and Jeep operators may not speak any English at all. However your host will organise all the relevant details in advance and you will have access to your host via Whatsapp during the trip.
