He was excellent! Highly recommended for your next hike. He’s very knowledgeable about the history of Thailand and the world. He was friendly and made sure we were okay along the way! He shared great stories and was genuinely interested in learning about us and our cultures. Will definitely hike again with him.

I loved my trek up Doi Suthep mountain with Kui. He took me to see a small hidden temple at the start of my trek which was fun. The hike itself was not too difficult. It was just longer than I thought. Especially while going downhill as the going was slippery with fallen leaves. Doi Suthep temple is beautiful. Kui made sure I saw all the most important aspects of this temple and also gave me the chance to talk to a local monk and receive his blessings. That was very special for me! We also went and sampled some great coffee after a delicious lunch at the Hmong village which was very charming. Kui kept me entertained throughout the hike with interesting anecdotes about Thailand and its culture. Strongly recommend taking this hike with Kui - it’s a unique experience that you will treasure.

I'm 51 and in normal shape and this hiking day during end of March hot day was awesome to do. Kyi is a great guide with many regional explanation and specific story about the trail along the way.
Our lunch and coffee break in the village was wonderful, and our afternoon path to the temple and the city super cool too.
Really recommending this for hikers who wish to discover less touristy paths with a great local guide.

This day was wonderful! Active, sporty, sweaty, but so wholesome! Kui is such a nice guide ready to answer all your questions. He is a trailrunner, so sometimes he will run away, but he always comes back, sometimes with a dog :-)
He lets us taste several snacks on the way, showed us a local school and gave us a little detour to see cherry blossoms (unique to the season), all that besides the tasty coffee farm - yum! In the end I read my prophecy at the temple, and he translated the Thai poem on the paper. Loved it from the beginning until the end, thank you, Kui!

Loved the triangle peak trek! It's such a unique experience to be in a pine forest in South East Asia. Even cooler when you get the background story from Kui as to how it happened to be there. Also, to add a little spice to the trail, challenge Kui to a trail run! He's a marathoner and trail runner so makes it even more fun :)

The day before my birthday, I completed my first hiking in my life, there was rain, fog, sunshine, unknown, but it was really worth it to experience and challenge myself!Along the way, Chetthaphon told me a lot about some of the gifts of nature, told me about the coffee history of Chiang Mai, where you can feel more than just the scenery in front of you, and a lot of knowledge along the way! It's worth it!

Chet's plan was incredibly well thought out and he had an amazing knowledge of Thai history and local trails. I loved his coffee and food recommendations. Definitely a perfect tour if you're keen for a hike or a train run.

Chetthaphon was an amazing guide and led us on a route we never would've found on our own. This trip was a major highlight of our three weeks in Thailand. It was a long and sweaty hike, but so worth it for the views and feeling of accomplishment at the end! In addition to exploring the area's beautiful nature and enjoying good coffee and food, we especially appreciated Chet's openness, impeccable English, and willingness to answer our million questions and discuss difficult topics.
