the guide was really helpful (sorry i forgot to ask for her name) & well-versed in her knowledge sharing about the elephants. thank u for this wonderful experience! :)
P.S. please do use the walking sticks provided; i personally had a hard time with the walks without the stick, so really all thanks to my guide and our other travellers for being patient with me hahaha

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to ChangChill Elephant Sanctuary. Our guide, Thong, did a wonderful job explaining how this sanctuary truly supports elephants living freely and naturally. We observed the elephants in their forest environment and learned about their daily lives without any touristy activities like touching or bathing. It was inspiring to see an ethical, sincere organization that genuinely cares for the well-being of former working elephants. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn about elephants in a respectful and responsible way.

We had great time with the elephants! The tour is very good. You get to meet the elephants without the unethical part (: thank you for a great day.

What a beautiful experience!
My girlfriend and I really wanted to see the Asian elephants in Thailand, but were worried that there wouldn’t be ethical places to see the elephants. Via Seeksophie I found the tour at Chiangchill. We got to see 7 elephants (4 from this sanctuary and 3 from the neighboring sanctuary, we were lucky). As tourists we always had to keep our distance, no feeding, no washing and no other unethical activities.
Definitely recommend this tour!

This experience is amazing, I would say the best and most ethical in Chiang Mai. Zero contact with the elephants, no touching, no bathing, no feeding. Just admire them from the distance.
Thong, our guide, was also very nice and helpful to us, he answered a lot of questions and taught us how elephants live here and how they were rescued.
Overall, a 10/10!

Really amazing experience going on the hike, visiting the village and experiencing bamboo rafting. The guides took care of us well and provided delicious lunch packs & snacks for us. Hoping to go back to Chiangmai with Trailhead again!

Wonderful experience, you walk across a small path seeking for the elephants that the sanctuary is taking care of. No touching at all and that’s the beauty of it. Just looking elephants being elephants. Great people and good food. I can only recommend.
