Awesome experience. First we had the most delicious lunch and then we took a tour of the wonderful herb garden at Dapur Tara. Both were great experiences and totally worth the trip!

Had the best time with Kak Liz! She’s so inspirational and the you can tell that the food she cooks have so much soul and flavour. I love her garden tour where she explains her processes and their way of life. This was one of my highlights for our Labuan Bajo day trip!

Kak Liz is a community-based host, sourcing all ingredients locally from her garden and nearby farms, supporting Flores' sustainable practices and sharing authentic, homegrown experiences with guests

Kak Liz is zero waste, using every part of her garden. Pineapple peel tea, papaya stem straws—if she can help it, nothing goes to waste, creating a truly sustainable, eco-friendly experience.

This experience is led by Kak Liz, a seriously kickass woman, who travels across Flores, learning tribal languages, foods and cultures to bring the true authentic side of Flores to her guests.

The experience is farm-to-table, using fresh, locally grown ingredients. Guests explore the organic garden, enjoy wood-fired meals, and connect with nature in a sustainable way.
