Kadek was great! Patient and kind. He encouraged us to sit back and relax while taking us to our stopping points. He encouraged us to take our time at each site and we did not feel rushed. He even made sure to get us to our last destination right in time so we could see the waterfall. He was wonderful!

After a 40-minute trip by longtail boat, we arrived at the beautiful Praiwan Raft House, located in a dead-end bay near the wildlife sanctuary. We stayed in a basic hut room with a wonderful bed, the bathroom and toilet were shared. Upon arrival, we were served a warm lunch, and afterwards, we took the boat for a whole 2 minutes toward the sanctuary.Once there, we hiked for about 30 minutes to reach the bamboo raft that took us to the Coral Cave. Each of us received a flashlight, and we explored the dead-end cave. We saw beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a few bats. After the visit, we made our way back the same route over water and land to our raft house.Before dinner, we had about 2 hours of free time. We took the kayak and were lucky enough to encounter a family of five elephants… all to ourselves. A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!After dinner, everyone lingered at the small restaurant and we played some games. The night started off a bit rough as a storm suddenly passed over our bay. It was all hands on deck for the staff, but the guests hardly noticed anything apart from the choppy water.At 6:30 in the morning, we went on a one-hour boat safari to spot wildlife. Unfortunately, we didn’t see much apart from two hornbills, a monitor lizard, and a few birds of prey. After that, we had breakfast, and it was slowly time to pack up and head back to the pier.

The trip we booked was quite intrepid, which was a little daunting when travelling with your child. Seek Sophie provided great information about what to expect, which was very accurate. Great communication at every step - they gave us peace of mind that we were booking a safe and reputable tour, and ours was one of the best travel experiences we've had!

I had never heard of Seek Sophie and generally avoid unknown websites offering activities although I was captured by the genuine nature and somewhat "off the beaten track" of the activities they were offering their website. Booking was easy and great communication, and most importantly the vulnerable locals they were supporting spoke highly of Seek Sophie. Best of luck and I hope to support them again in the future.

I’ve been trying to book a private chalet for a 3D2N Kinabatangan River Safari multiple times but sadly for more than 4 times I’ve not been lucky enough as other people were always booking seconds before me, so I never got any booking I’ve tried to pay for. Rina was amazing as she assisted me with my booking attempts and helped me secure a place even though it was high season. She was extremely patient and helpful, her help allowed us to book the dream spot and she made us really happy. Thank you Rina!

I’ve just completed a 8 days 7 nights, Komodo Community Trip and it was so amazing. Kudos to Seek Sophie for the detailed planning of the itinerary which was so well executed. The local guides especially Puteri and Bayou and staff (Jun), were fabulous and super caring in ensuring our comfort and safety. Sincere thanks to them and to their colleagues/staff who assisted us on respective adventures. Not forgetting the wonderful photographers, Shawne and Alvin, and all other participants of the trip. We had so much fun together, it was as if we knew each other before the trip. This is one experience that I will not forget. 🙏

Went to a humane elephant sanctuary called Chang Chill with seek sophie. It was such a good experience. We saw the elephants in the forest, left food for them in the feeding tubes and watched them bathe. They had cahouts looking afte them who knew them well. Worthwhile experience. Would highly recommend

That’s why we were so excited when we found Chang Chill! The way they let the elephants just be elephants, with their mahouts caring for them from a respectful distance, is so special. So glad you got to experience it too! :)

My friend and I went on two trips with Seek Sophie and had an absolutely amazing time! Experienced the most scenic views in Bali on the Mt. Batur caldera hike while being the only ones on that mountain top. We also went on a unique Munduk trek through the jungle and got to swim in beautiful waterfalls. The best part was we were always assisted by the nicest guides who were in constant contact with us. An outstanding experience, from the moment we were greeted to the heartbeat we departed the boat, just a sensation experience.. The thing that made this trip was the crew... To start of with we choose Seek Sophie because of the itinerary and size of the boat, reviews played a HUGE part in our decision and I am glad we did our homework, we were greeted by Roy a gentleman in all his rights, his English was amazing, extremely attentive to all the guests needs and a pleasure to be around, once abord the boat Roy gave all of us a safety briefing and then assigned rooms according to the booking... Very simple and direct, after all that was done we were off, the ship was clean well staffed and easy to navigate, it almost felt as if it was one crewmember to 2 guests, the ships layout was very comfortable, two suites in the rear and I believe the rest up front. the suites were spacious for the size of the boat with a sliding door that separates the bathroom from the sleeping quarters. The dining area was in the middle of the ship right next to the kitchen, the food was custom and prepared with heart and care. meals were substantial and snacks were provided in-between. the bow of the ship was clean and well appointed with chairs, couches and pillow like seating. The crew were always available for anything needed and most of the time they were ahead of our needs. Roy and Rey ( the onboard photographer) were fun to interact with, humor and safety were noticeable but by the end of day one we all started to feel like family. The excursions were nothing short of amazing as promised, snorkeling in the clearest waters seeing fish and wildlife not seen in or around the US, the island of Komodo was breathtaking with dragons sunning themselves on the beach and cooling off in the shade of the trees, this NOT a gimmick this is the real thing, walking among Komodo dragons is a feeling that has no words. Then end of our second day we found a spot where manta's were feeding, we all hopped in the water and watched manta rays, just a surreal interaction with nature. This tour was worth every cent invested, the care and dedication from the crew was comforting and impressive, we as a boat had the opportunity to pass other boats with tours on them and seeing these boats crammed with people and how tight their quarters were made me even more comfortable with our decision with Seek Sophie.. Things to be aware of:: The internet situation is poor, its not the ship, its the actual internet around these island is poor, the ship offered wifi, but if your phone doesn't have a connection neither will the boat. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses Bring money........ you will need to produce the fee"s in cash before you embark the boat for the Komodo island entrance fee. Bring more than one pair of footwear.... you will be on a crazy amazing hike for a sunrise and flip flops wont cut it... and enough to tip the crew when you depart THEY WILL DEFINATLY EARN EVERY DOLLAR..
