Review Body: My husband and I did this trip as part of our honeymoon and both agreed it was the highlight of our three weeks in Indonesia. Our guide Riza was amazing, extremely knowledgeable about Indonesian history, science and customs. He took the time to explain everything at each location we visited, was very prepared for each summit and brought us to some great spots for meals along the way. At Ijen the guide he partnered with was great and made sure we had a safe trip and a great spot for sunrise. We did not have time for tumpak sewu on our trip so we added in madikapura waterfall which was absolutely stunning, an easy hike and no big crowds. Since we had the waterfall planned same day as bromo we did the hike to sunrise view at bromo rather than taking the jeep up. Even if you are not adding the waterfall I think this was a great option as it avoided the hours of jeep traffic that takes you a bit out of the nature experience and allowed us to make it to the crater before most of the crowds. We even got to see the volcanic desert frozen due to our earlier arrival time at the base of the mountain! Overall one of the best travel experiences we have ever had as well as some of the best guides. Highly highly recommend!

Review Body: Traveled as a couple in late July. Our guide, Devid, was very good at his job - knowledgeable and easy to follow. The tour was very well organized, with great communication and zero issues. Mt. Bromo was an easy hike. The only challenge was the early morning cold, but you can rent jackets (nothing fancy, they’re pretty worn-out and stained , but that’s expected considering the location). We witnessed an incredible sunrise, and Devid took tons of great photos of us. Mt. Ijen was more physically demanding, but still manageable without any prior training. You hike down into the volcano crater to see the blue flames and sulfur mining. The smoke can be intense, it stings to breathe even with a mask, but it passes quickly. It’s absolutely worth it. Just be mentally prepared for that part. Overall, a highly recommended adventure!

Review Body: Very pleased with this experience from start to end! Mt Bromo sunrise was absolutely stunning, easily the best sunrise I’ve ever seen in my life. Our guide Oni was fantastic, he took care of us well and was very accommodating to our requests :) He found such a good spot to wait for the sunrise and helped us to take many good photos throughout the trip! Special thanks to our driver Faisal for driving us safely and comfortably, we slept through most of the car rides! Heads up to other travelers that Mt Ijen is closed every first Friday of the month, and because of that we had to reverse the order of our trip, but it all worked out well in the end - perhaps even better since we did the harder hike first and could relax after :)

Review Body: The 2D-1N Bromo, Ijen trip was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we were picked up by our guide, Ubaydillah, we felt super comfortable. He’s great company and is extremely knowledgeable. He knows these superb spots where you can get breathtaking views of Mount Bromo with minimum people around. While hiking to Ijen, we were met by a local guide Nyong who made the trekking easier for a non-hiker like me with constant encouragement and support. The tour operators take care of everything from start to finish with yum meals as well. Huge shoutout to Ubayd, Nyong and Faisal, our driver who made this trip everything we dreamed of and better. Waking up and starting at 2:00 a.m. is definitely worth it for the views.

Review Body: Bromo 2d1n tour was beyond our expectation. Our guide Baroni (Oni) was very kind, polite and prompt. He’s genuine and seemed to be enjoying his job. Weather in Bromo was beyond our control but Oni was very quick to find alternative for us to still enjoy the view. I must say the gloomy and misty weather gave some sort of magical feeling to the whole experience regardless. For Ijen, he engaged another local person to assist us with hiking and again Dika was very professional and kind. Ijen hike was quite challenging but the sight of blue flame and volcanic lake made it all worth it. I would highly recommend this tour and thanks to Seek Sophie for providing this option.

Review Body: We loved the Mount Bromo sunrise and were so lucky with the weather. Also the blue fire was phenomenal! Our guide Hirman was the BEST we could ever wish for. He made sure we were comfortable during the whole trip and cared deeply and genuinely about us during the two days we spent together. He made the experience unforgettable. We’re so thankful to have met him! Nothing was too much. Would definitely recommend going on this trip! It’s one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever seen. Review Body: I had a very pleasant trip with Bromo Vacation. It started with proactive communication prior to the trip to prepare entry tickets in advance and recommended packing items. My guide for the trip was Melati, who went above and beyond in her consideration of my comfort and check-ins about how I was feeling about certain activities. She clearly commented time expectations for the various activities and driving between places. And her bubbly personality is the cherry on top! Sigit also did an effective job of transporting us between locations. If you're keen to visit Mt. Bromo, Ijen, and Tumpak Sewu, then this is an excellent tour option.

Review Body: Simply the best! Hirman was 10/10, just perfect. The tour itself was amazing (the locations, the stops and the hotel). But Hiram was on another level. He is knowledgeable, high energy, funny and his english is perfect. I learned so much, and laughed a lot also. It felt like traveling with an old friend, but with all the local knowledge (both treks, best sunrise spot, but also a lot on culture and the phenomenon we observed - blue fire, how mount bromo was formed, etc). There was no question he didn’t have a complete and thorough answer and he was 100% of the time concerned with my wellbeing. Everything you could expect from a guide!

Review Body: Fantastic time with our guide Ubay and driver Tommy! We booked a package to Bromo + Ijen and the entire trip was smooth and well organised. They were also very accommodating and offered us flexibility in our schedule. From picking the best sunrise spot away from the crowd to always taking care of us, Ubay made us feel we were in great hands. There were also plenty of midnight drives through narrow and winding roads but Tommy was professional and safe the whole time. Highly recommend if you like a peace of mind when visiting Bromo and Ijen!

Review Body: I honestly cannot imagine a better guide than Akbar. The Bromo and Ijen tour can be intense, but with him everything went smoothly. From the magical Bromo sunrise to the turquoise crater lake of Ijen, every stop was breathtaking and thanks to Akbar we always had the best spots, often ahead of the crowds. He made the whole trip enjoyable, was always attentive, and even captured incredible photos we’ll treasure forever. If you book this tour, ask for Akbar. He turns a beautiful trip into an unforgettable experience.

Review Body: Amazing and intense 2 day tour to see the most famous volcanoes of East Java. The guide and driver were very professional and kind. She even gave us a little goodbye present. The experience was definitely worth repeating. The only thing I still don't understand is why it was so expensive. While it's clear that the added value is the convenience and guarantee of quality, the markup seems quite high considering that going through more local channels would only cost about half the price.

Review Body: Our guides were great, Ikhsan was so kind and helpful. We loved both spots, Mt Ijen being a lot more of a hike than Mt Bromo. Both spots were super busy, but apparently it was a holiday weekend here so that made both busier. The hotel that was booked for us the first night was very nice, honestly nicer than we anticipated. Would recommend, maybe just do some research on which days/weekends are busier, but that is not the tours fault, just bad planning on our part!
