Review Body: Highly recommended for value for money. Of course, you shouldn't expect the luxury of a beach resort, as the options are simply not available in the exposed waterfront location of the national park. It's absolutely clean, the food is excellent, and the portions are almost impossible to handle. Restrooms and showers are also plentiful in two easily accessible, floating restroom buildings. No electricity during the day until 6 p.m., and the generator runs until 8 a.m. Keep this in mind when charging various batteries; as far as I know, this is the case everywhere in the national park.

Review Body: Accommodation in Cheow Lan Dam is affordable. There are shared bathrooms and electricity to use for a period of time. Suitable for coming as a group of friends. and come in pairs or come as a family Quite a lot of foreign tourists come to visit. There are restaurants providing services and canoes for paddling. Can play in the water and can feed fish

Riverside jungle lodge + Cheow Lan Lake — the best of both worlds!
This 3D2N adventure is perfect for travellers who want to experience the best of both jungle and lake in Khao Sok without spending most of the trip in transit. Unlike many tours that start from Khao Sok Village and require long transfers (~1hr) to the lake, this one starts just 15 minutes away! That means you get more time exploring Khao Sok’s Sok River and Cheow Lan Lake, and less time on the road. You’ll spend your first night in a lovely riverside resort and the next in a modern capsule-style raft house with private rooms (and proper mattresses!) floating gently on the emerald lake waters. Of all the raft houses we’ve tried, this one had the best food by far. It’s also the closest to the pier, so you skip the long boat rides — plus it’s got super nice rooms, a bar with cocktails, and (fun fact for animal lovers) even a golden retriever and cat on site! It’s a great option for chilled-out adventurers, couples, or small groups keen for a couple of peaceful days. Those who love soaking in the views will get a kick out of the jungle treks and serene boat rides - there’s also always a chance of spotting monkeys, hornbills, or maybe even a cheeky langur. Best of all, you’ll enjoy two different types of bamboo rafting (jungle river and lake) and stay right by the Sok River on your first night! If you’re craving nature, comfort, and adventure all at once, this is the trip for you. What to ExpectStay your first night at a riverside resort just 15 minutes from Cheow Lan Lake - skip the long transfers. Enjoy a private, comfortable room with an attached bathroom—perfect for relaxing after your journey before the adventure begins.Overnight floating stay in a modern raft house featuring a private, fan-cooled capsule room (no thin mat on the floor!) with shared bathroom facilitiesBamboo rafting on the Sok River, surrounded by limestone cliffs and lush jungleExplore the stunning Cheow Lan Lake with scenic boat rides and cave trekkingEnjoy a memorable visit to Khao Sam Klur (Kui Lin), where stunning limestone karstsJungle treks and bamboo raft ride to Coral CaveKayaking and swimming from your peaceful lake-side retreatMorning wildlife-spotting boat safari and sightseeing on the lakeGood to KnowThe tour program on the lake is a join-in trip, with up to 20 people per boatNo Wi-Fi or phone service at the raft house—time to fully unplug and enjoyWeather may affect activities—some flexibility is needed during rainy seasonThe National Park, Wildlife & Pier Fees are included (approx. 540 THB per adult / 270 THB per child, payable in cash)Day trip boats sometimes stop at the raft house during the day—expect a bit of buzz in the common areas during peak season, which runs from November to April when many visitors come. If you don’t mind the occasional rain, we recommend visiting around May to June or September to October for a quieter, less crowded experience. This trip is non-refundable—please be sure of your plans before bookingPlease note that this trip requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate.Amenities/facilitiesNight 1 – Riverside Resort:Private air-conditioned room with mountain view terrace (Photos in the accommodation section show the first-night room only.
