Review Body: Now convinced that motorbike is the best way to experience Lombok! Guides were the absolute best, super cheerful, funny and always brought the vibe up with their energy and stories and music. They are local Sasak & Indonesian guides and I love how we even got to meet the family of one of the guides and eat at their family run food shack. Tour plan wise, the route around the island is comprehensive, with well curated locations to experience & enjoy, from well known ones like the iconic waterfalls but also smaller local ones like Pulau Hantu and the coconut field by Klui beach! It's very immersive and honestly a great way to see the island from beach to mountain to culture & heritage. Would highly recommend this experience but do pack as light as you can for ease as you move every night! Don't worry it doesn't feel too far or slow, it was well paced and if anything I wish it lasted longer!

Review Body: I never would have seen this much of Lombok if I had not gone on the incredible loop tour! Faris was an incredible (and safe) driver and really lovely person go get to know! All of the drivers are very friendly locals who speak great English and are so cool and talented – one night, they built us a bonfire on the beach and performed songs and a fire show. My favorite day was driving up to the base of Mount Rinjani, and getting to see incredible monkeys all along the way. We also went on a beautiful waterfall tour and got to go tubing through secret underground tunnels. I went as a solo traveler and ended up getting my own private room every night, which was really lovely. This tour was such an amazing experience and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see so much of this incredible island <3 Thanks to the amazing drivers, you guys rock.

Review Body: Amazing experience - Highly Recommend! Vibes: Immaculate. Food: Delicious. Overall: Fantastic. I went on this tour with two of my friends and we all agreed that it was one of the best weeks of our lives. We’ve been traveling around Southeast Asia for a few months - we’ve seen and done some amazing things. We’ve even done the Ha Giang Loop, and while that was incredible, this tour offered a more authentic, intimate experience. The stops were less regimented, but that allowed us to truly relax and get the most out of each place. We felt extremely taken care of (plenty of snacks and water). We also felt extremely safe, which is huge for 3 women traveling around a new place. We want to give a special shoutout to Gun, Adi, and Surya who made this such a special experience and gave us a lot of laughs. We could not recommend this tour more!

Review Body: Def not everyday or everywhere where you get to enjoy a peaceful & beautiful tiny island that you may get all to yourself if you stay overnight! Honestly being the only ones camping on an island was a superb experience I won’t ever forget. Imagine, sunset from tiny island, dinner a boat ride away, bonfire & live music under moonlight, then waking up to the calm beach right outside the tent. Admittedly this camping experience is fully camping, meaning no fresh water or shower or modern sanitation so be well prepared (bring water bottles) and do not come expecting a polished experience. It is raw & rustic and I think that is precisely the charm. An added challenge was that it rained for a few hours, which made everything wet and cold invited many mozzies, however the rain did stop and we were able to enjoy the bonfire to warm up after! Camping may not be everyone's cup of tea, but in believe you could just do a day trip to the island as well if you do not wish to stay over! I honestly loved it, peaceful island all to yourself, seeing sunset, moonlight and sunrise at your own shore is unparalleled. Worth all the struggle and temporary discomfort.

The most fun way to see Lombok, with locals who know every backroad
If you want to really see Lombok, this is one of the most fun ways to do it. Over 4D3N, you’ll ride pillion with your own local driver around the island — from quiet beaches and coastal roads to the foothills of Mount Rinjani, jungle waterfalls and small Sasak villages. You cover an incredible amount of Lombok, but it somehow still feels relaxed rather than rushed. The idea is inspired by Vietnam’s Ha Giang Loop, but this feels much more intimate. The group is small, the stops aren’t overly regimented, and there’s plenty of room for the little moments that end up becoming your favourite bits — eating at one of the guides’ family-run food shacks, spotting monkeys on the way towards Rinjani, finding a tiny beach you’d never have known to look for, or singing around a bonfire together at the end of the day.The drivers are a huge part of why people love this trip. They’re local Sasak and Indonesian guides who know Lombok inside out, and after four days riding together, they often feel less like drivers and more like friends. Guests talk about how funny, warm and full of energy they are, how safe they felt riding with them, and more than one person said they wished they could just keep riding around Lombok with these guys for another week! The route itself shows you just how varied Lombok is. You’ll go from beaches and coconut fields to waterfalls, mountain roads and local villages, with plenty of food stops and swimming in between. Some places are well known, others are tiny local spots most visitors would never find on their own. It feels less like ticking off Lombok’s sights and more like going on a proper road trip with people who genuinely love showing you their island. We especially like this for solo travellers, or anyone short on time who wants to see far more of Lombok than they would staying in one beach town. It’s adventurous, very social and a little scrappy in the best way — you’ll move somewhere new each night, so pack light and come ready for the ride. What to Expect4D3N small-group motorbike loop around LombokRide pillion with your own local driverBeaches, mountains, villages and waterfallsSwim, cliff jump and tube at waterfall stopsLocal markets, food stops and Sasak communitiesHomestays, hostels and camping along the wayTraditional meals, snacks and water includedBeach bonfires, music and plenty of laughsGood to KnowYou’ll ride as a passenger rather than driving the motorbike yourselfAll drivers are male. Lerne deinen Gastgeber kennen
