Jui, your Seek Sophie host, used to work in hotels but traded it all to grow food and welcome guests with her sisters — Sa, Sunny, and Chom. Together, they’ll feed you like royalty (crispy fried chicken, rich curries, fresh fruit platters, and veggies plucked from the garden), teach you how to cook authentic Thai dishes in a super fun cooking class, and take you to uncover hidden caves or float down the river. Me and my boyfriend Benny we had yesterday a Incredible experience in the jungle with Yaya and Red (I do not know if the names are good written sorry). Both became enthusiastic and putting us into the jungle and how to respect it and live it. His great knowledge of this area helped us to know edible plants and see snakes, frogs, scorpions, tarantulas, monkeys ... then they stopped to teaching us how to cook ,with bamboo, rice and red curry (certain delicious) in a bonfire and Everything done for themselves. We ended up making a night walk where we could observe more animals in their natural habitat. Everything was perfect, Yaya was incredibly instructive,polite, funny, motivating, friendly and open to every question we made. I liked the respect and affection that he has of his home( the jungle )and as it transmits. Without a doubt the best experience and option you can choose to come to Kaoh Sok. I would definitely repeat if i come back. We love it!!!!!
It is a brutal experience, we have loved discovering this wonderful place with our local guide who knows this piece of jungle like no one else, the ability that he has as your assistant to find animals in the jungle in the afternoon and at night is incredible. They explain things to you and make the adventure very entertaining. I would say it is one of the best experiences we have had in this country. It is incredible how they take care of every detail so that you can enjoy something that would surely not be the same if you did it on your own or with other guides. I totally recommend it, it won't disappoint anyone.
The Half Day-Half Night Tour with Jaja is highly recommended. It was very interesting because he showed and explained many things to us, e.g. what the techniques are for spotting wild animals or how to recognize which animals are poisonous and which are not.
Even though the normal paths past the waterfalls were closed, he made a lot of effort to find a suitable place for us to swim. Furthermore, the food cooked in the jungle was very tasty😁
Jaja is a very humorous guide who always has funny jokes and tries hard to please his customers. His English is also very easy to understand and with him you have the feeling of having an adventure in the jungle and not just another booked tour (as it sometimes is, unfortunately).
He is very close to nature and has a lot of knowledge👍

The best partner in the jungle!!! It was an incredible experience, Ja Ja and his assistant made us feel the authenticity of the experience, with an initial trek until we reached the area where we could help him prepare dinner with bamboo and other vegetables that the jungle itself provided us, at the beginning we were able Take a swim in one of the rivers that crosses the dense vegetation, highly recommended to share and live with local people. We did the half day/half night tour and can't recommend it enough.  You get to see animals you wouldn't find otherwise, learn about plants, swim in the river and cook a bamboo dinner. Jaja was born in Khao Sok, and from a young age, his father taught him how to hunt, survive, and live in the jungle, starting when he was just 9 years old. As he grew older, Jaja developed an interest in learning English, recognizing that it would allow him to communicate with travelers visiting Khao Sok. To practice his English skills, he took a job as a waiter. Over time, he realized that the hunting and survival skills his father had taught him could be applied to a career as a guide in the national park.

Now, after 18 years of working as a guide, Jaja uses his experience to mentor the younger generation, teaching them how to become guides. He also helps train hunters to transition into guiding roles, so they no longer have to hunt for a living. Deeply passionate about his hometown, Jaja is committed to protecting Khao Sok. He loves sharing his knowledge with anyone who is interested, not just travelers. Looking ahead, Jaja dreams of creating more opportunities for the younger generation to engage in eco-tourism, ensuring that the local community thrives while preserving the natural beauty of Khao Sok."

2:00 PM – Free pick-up from hotels in the Khao Sok Village area (within 10 KM of Khao Sok National Park).
2:30 PM – Arrive at the Khao Sok National Park Visitor Center, pay the national park fee, and begin a 3 KM hike towards Bang Hua Rat Waterfall. Along the way, you'll learn basic survival skills and techniques for living in the jungle. You will also explore wild plants, trees, herbs, and spot wildlife along the trail. Learn about the traditional uses of jungle plants and herbs, and hear stories about the local culture and history from our knowledgeable guides. Enjoy a scenic stop at Wing Hin Waterfall.
4:30 PM – Arrive at Bang Hua Rat Waterfall.  Swimming in Sok River. 
5:00 PM – Begin jungle cooking. We’ll show you how to prepare a meal using jungle techniques, and you can participate in the process.
7:00 PM – Enjoy a jungle-cooked dinner.
7:30 PM – Night safari. Head out to spot nocturnal wildlife.
9:30 PM – Return to camp to relax and unwind. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the jungle and sleep in hammocks.

This part of the trip may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with knee injuries.</li><li>Kayak and Swimming: Enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Cheow Lan Lake with kayaking and swimming, offering a refreshing and fun way to explore the stunning surroundings.</li><li>This is a join-in trip with a single group of up to 20 people, so you’ll be sharing the experience with other travelers. As this is due to wild elephant activity, it is unfortunately beyond the control of our local partner.
