We had a great day with Vishwa in the Knuckles Range. He is a good and experienced mountainbiker and knows the area so adjusts the tour to your abilities! Next to this he explains things on the way! Also teh bikes are well maintained scott bikes!

We had a fantastic day with Vishwa on a cross country mountain bike tour in the mountains around Kandy. The scenery was spectacular: tea plantations, smaller villages, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bikes provided were very high quality hard tail Scott bikes in excellent working condition - basically brand new. Snacks and water were provided. We’d highly recommended riding with Vishwa - if we had the time we’d definitely do another day!!

The scenery was spectacular: tea plantations, smaller villages, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. I had a fantastic ride with Vishwa and it will definitely be one of the top highlights of my trip. From the beginning his communication was great and prompt, I was staying slightly outside of Kandy but because it was just me he organised to meet me out there and we started the ride from my accommodation which was great, but also meant we rode a lot of hills! We rode around the Hantana Ranges, through tea fields with lots of climbing, rocky descents and some technical bits it was well tailored to my experience. Vishwa was very knowledgeable, pointing out and explaining many things. We stopped at a local stall for traditional snacks and tea, and again later for a refreshing king coconut. If you are a keen cyclist like me I can't recommend this enough, the bike was good and the trails and views even better. Vishwa is very passionate about mountain biking and trying to help grow the sport in his country, and I wish him all the best in doing so. Thanks again mate!

The bikes are fantastic quality, and right from the beginning a lot of care is taken to make sure you have the right size bike for the trip. Vishwa was an amazing guide, and very patient when I was struggling with some of the more difficult uphill sections of the ride. You’re given plenty of water, and we also stopped for a delicious home cooked lunch in one of the mountain villages.

The ride itself took us through tea plantations as well as forest, and the area is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s a fantastic way to see a different side of Sri Lanka, and get a great workout at the same time.

Vishwa was an excellent guide, patient and also provided a lot of context for the area with interesting facts and information. If you’re looking for something a little bit more adventurous, I’d 100% recommend booking an MTB adventure with Vishwa, you won’t regret it!

Hubby and myself did a half day ride with vishwa and thoroughly enjoyed it. From arranging the trip to being collected and then dropped back off everything was done perfectly. We rode in the morning through some stunning scenery on stott mountain bikes which are very well maintained and something vishwa takes great pride in. We had plenty stops on route for refreshments including authentic Sri lankan food which we felt made the day extra special. We would not hesitate to book with him again although I wish I could bring my ebike from home to make the climbs as much fun as the descents. Loved every minute....angie &amp; justin x

Fantastic 18km (with c450m height gain) ride with guide Bhathii through forest and villages behind Kandy. We really saw the natural Sri Lanka - the bits very few tourists ever see. Bhathii was brilliant, taking time to stop and explain everything we saw. Highly recommended but you'll need to be comfortable with medium level MTB tracks. One of the best things we did in SL!

We rented two mountain bikes to cylce from Kandy to Ella (beautiful scenery!). The bikes were of very good quality and included everything you need (spare tubes, helmets, pump, locks). The owner Vishwa was very helpful with all our questions and requests and did everything to ensure a great experience. He delivered the bikes to our hotel and picked them up at our destination of choice. He also attached racks to the bikes for our backpacks which was really helpful. I do a lot of bike touring with my own bicycle and doing a guided tour or renting a bike for a couple of days is a great way to experience the country apart from the usual tourist routes. For that I would highly recommend Vishwa and his team!

He also arranged the the taxi for us from Colombo to Kandy and recommended hotels to us. The taxi driver was very good and made the journey as painless as possible in the busy traffic. We spent the night at the Eagle Regency Boutique hotel which was very convenient being out of town and close to the start of the cycle ride.

Vishwa was the perfect host and guide. Even though we are experienced cyclists, the route was challengng with a mixture of roads, tracks and bush. We rode through tea plantations and villages, the weather was perfect and Vishwa set a perfect pace for us. His bikes are Scott hardtails and in excellent condition. We have cycled in many places including Vietnam, France, Laos and others and were particularly impressed with Vishwa and his clear hand signalling , professional approach and he ensured all in our group felt comfortable and safe and cycled at a pace to suit all. He is a passionate mountain biker and put up with us older roadies and still ensured we had a good ride. He is sure to be a hit and we wish him well with his venture.

The trail we took had great variation in terrain and difficulty, with some nice narrow technical sections, and a few rapid downhill portions. Pretty adventurous trail. There are a few different options available to suit all riders abilities slash eagerness for adventure. Took a few falls due to my own lack and Vishwa was very patient and helpful even opting to carry my overloaded camera bag for the rest of the journey - which was much appreciated and patching up a few small grazes. The trails themselves are unique and relatively untouched as he is the only operator in that area. Our journey took us through various farmlands, along a river and through the hillside surrounding Kandy - overall a really scenic ride. Would gladly recommend Vishwas MTB tours, if you're in Kandy, you have a few hours to spare and you are into riding at any level just go! You won't regret it.
