Comfy floating bungalows with AC + your own private boat and English guide
This is a more premium rafthouse experience than most others on Cheow Lan Lake. Instead of sleeping on a mattress on the floor or walking ages to a shared bathroom, you’ll stay in a modern floating bungalow with air-conditioning (a rare find here!) and an en-suite bathroom. You’ll also have your own private longtail boat for all lake trips, with a fluent English-speaking guide who knows Khao Sok inside out so you’ll learn so many cool stories about Khao Sok and connect much more deeply with what you see and hear here. With your own boat and guide, you skip the chaos of packed join-in tours and get to explore the lake at your own pace. It’s the most comfortable and peaceful way to experience Cheow Lan Lake, perfect if you want the magic of the lake without sacrificing comfort. What to ExpectStay in a modern floating raft house with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and a comfy bed for a restful night.Private longtail boat for exploring the lake—no waiting for big groups or rushing through activities.Personal English-speaking guide to tailor the trip to your interests.Sunrise and sunset boat safaris to spot wildlife like monkeys, birds, and maybe even elephants.Jungle trekking to hidden waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints.Kayaking and swimming in the peaceful lake surroundings.Delicious meals included, enjoyed with stunning views of the lake.Good to KnowThe national park fee (approx. 300 - 500 THB per adult / 150 - 250 THB per child) is not included and must be paid in cash. The rafthouse is in a remote and peaceful location with no phone signal—perfect for disconnecting. The rainy season around Khao Sok typically runs from May to October, with the heaviest rainfall usually in August and September. During this time, rivers and lakes can rise, and some outdoor activities—like hikes or cave visits—may be affected. On the bright side, there are fewer people on the lake, giving you a more peaceful and private experience.Electricity is available from 5:30 PM to 9:00 AM; there is no power during the day.Only cold water showers are available.Pack light and bring a waterproof bag to protect belongings during boat rides.Transport to Ratchaprapa Pier is not included—ensure you arrive in Khao Sok the day before the trip. The rafthouse accommodates multiple private groups, so common areas may have other travellers.Kayaks and life jackets are provided at the rafthouse.Amenities/FacilitiesPrivate en-suite bathroomAir conditioning (nighttime only)Comfy bedKayaks availableDining area with provided mealsElectricity from 5:30 PM to 9:00 AMNo phone signal or Wi-FiCancellation and Rescheduling PolicyYou can cancel 15 days before their activity start time for a full refund.
