Turn broken pieces into a beautiful keepsake—A meaningful Kintsugi date.
This is a unique and intimate bonding experience for couples—breaking and mending a beautiful Japanese ceramic piece together. With soft lighting, soulful music, and Japanese tea and snacks, the setting is warm and cosy, makes it the perfect way to celebrate special occasion such as birthday and create lasting memories. 🎉What to Expect:Choose a special Kintsugi ceramic piece together, from sake sets to display pieces.Experience the symbolic act of breaking and mending your piece as a couple.Enjoy a peaceful studio atmosphere with green tea, Japanese snacks, and calming music.Reflect on what the cracks and mended lines mean for your relationship.Capture the moment with a mini photoshoot of you and your restored piece.Take home your finished Kintsugi piece in a beautifully crafted Japanese Sakura box— a lasting symbol of your journey together.Birthday Celebrations:If you are celebrating a birthday, let us know in the notes section of the booking form! Your host Nilofar will be giving one complimentary Polaroid photo to save as a memory and prepare a simple birthday decoration to make your celebration even more special 🎁!Cake is also available under Add-OnsGood to Know:No prior experience needed; guidance will be provided throughout. The session is designed for couples seeking a deeper, more meaningful bonding experience.Expect to get hands-on—working with lacquer and gold dust can be slightly messy, but aprons will be provided. Each ceramic piece is unique, and you can choose one that speaks to you both. This is a thoughtful and artistic way to celebrate your connection—whether for an anniversary, a special occasion, or simply a memorable date that’s different from the usual.

Meet your host

Nilo started her studio in 2022 after witnessing how the art of kintsugi helped her daughters cope with the loss of their grandfather. Moved by its quiet strength, she felt it could bring comfort to others going through tough times. Since then, she’s been creating a gentle space for people to explore healing through this thoughtful craft. Nilo also works closely with the Samaritans of Singapore, running Kintsugi Healing Workshops for those impacted by suicide, made possible through public donations. Her approach is warm, grounded, and rooted in real experience, making her studio feel like a safe corner in a busy world.
