Review Body: We booked the 5D4N East Java tour, and it was truly an incredible journey from start to finish. A massive shoutout to our driver, Tono, he was simply awesome. His English was excellent, his driving felt safe on winding roads, and his great energy made the entire journey so much more enjoyable. He also explained us a lot of Indonesian culture. The itinerary is a bit intense and physically demanding with early wake-ups and long travel stretches, but the spectacular landscapes make every ounce of effort completely worth it. Unfortunately, due to recent wildfires, it was uncertain whether Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen would be accessible. The agency handled the situation with good communication, keeping us updated every step of the way. While Ijen remained closed, we were still able to visit Mount Bromo, and the agency adapted the itinerary by arranging an alternative visit to a local village. Getting to see how the community lives day-to-day turned out to be an unexpected gem of an experience. A major highlight of the trip was visiting the national park for the sea turtles. Being able to release baby turtles into the ocean was an unforgettable moment, complemented by spotting various wildlife and native birds throughout the park. Finally, we booked the Bali transfer add-on at the end of the tour, and it made the entire transition effortless. Everything was taken care of: from the ferry crossing to a private driver meeting us on the other side and dropping us directly at our hotel. If you are looking for an authentic, well-organized adventure through East Java, I cannot recommend this agency and Tono enough!

Review Body: I went on a 5-day solo trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls, Bromo, Ijen, and Sukamade. The organisation of the trip was excellent! Communication with the organiser, Ary Antonius, was smooth and fast which was really helpful. I was also very happy with my guide and driver, Sigit. He was kind, helpful, and made sure everything went according to plan. He shared a lot of interesting information about the places we visited on Java and always made sure we arrived on time, which gave me a sense of calm throughout the journey. This was my first solo trip far from home, and it turned out to be a great way to get to know Indonesia. Thanks to the good organisation, I never had to worry about things going wrong, which was really reassuring for a first-time solo traveller. The excursions themselves were amazing, with knowledgeable and friendly local guides. Unfortunately, I got a bit sick and had to skip the Ijen hike. Also, be aware that the trip can be quite intense, early mornings and long drives can be more tiring than expected. The only downside was the final transfer from Bali harbor to my hotel in Ubud. Unfortunately, the new driver on Bali was unfriendly and unprofessional, which made the last part of the journey feel uncomfortable, a contrast to the otherwise smooth and well organised trip. Still, even without Ijen, it was a truly memorable experience on Java, also thanks to tourguide Sigit, whose support made the trip even more enjoyable and the smooth communication. I would definitely recommend this trip to both solo and group travelers!

Review Body: To anyone debating whether this trip is worth it, here is your sign to go ahead and book it. We had the most incredible trip. From pick up we were well and truly looked after by our amazing driver Bagus. Every step of the way, you have nothing to worry or think about apart from enjoying yourself. Bagus is a true credit to this company and all round great person. The wake up calls are early but are worth it a million times over for what you get to experience as a result. Special mentions to Artha - who made sure our waterfall experience was full of adventure, Harie - who found us the ultimate view point at Bromo and was great company whilst we waited for the sunrise, Succi - the energetic and wonderful woman who got us to the top of Ijen with so much laughter along the way (and looked after us so kindly at Sukamade) and of course to Bagus - keeping us safe and comfortable for the entire journey, talking and singing with us. Each of the experiences on this tour are unlike any other and make you feel so lucky to have the opportunity, but the team at Bromo Ijen tours make it truly special. Review Body: The BEST experience we have had in 2 months of traveling! Save yourself the time and just book this trip right now. There is no better way to experience this part of the island. The best driver (Tono) and tour guides (Harry, Suci)! Included pick up from our hotel in Surabaya and a ferry ride to Bali with private transport to our hotel all the way in Padang Bai. Every moment of this trip was smooth and organized, not to mention INSANE landscapes and natural wonders! We were the first people to reach the blue fire at Mt. Ijen and beat the crowds at Tumpak Sewu and Mt. Bromo. The turtle experience was so remote and unique, very few tourists there and a true conservation group. Food and accommodation were beyond our expectations! Resort style stays. Our car was comfortable enough to sleep in on the long drives and had a charging port. I cannot recommend this enough! We didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy every moment of the trip. Beyond worth the price! Memories for a lifetime.

Review Body: Hotels: All the hotels were as good as expected. Good points is that we had 2 nice swimming pools. Apart from that nothing impressive but nothing disapointing. Guides: For us this was the strong point. All guides (including the driver, he was not only a driver but also giving good tips and recommandations, but also a lot of knowledge in java. And a good companion. ) were locals, with good mood and good knowledge on their expeditions Experiences: Everything was incredible, not much more to say, I was not expecting it that good. Overall: Everything was incredibly well organized, from the first pick-up to the end. You are never left alone or without information.

The tour was perfectly organized, and a huge thank you goes to Anton (our driver), who drove us all over East Java with his warm, courteous, and fun-loving personality. Even early in the morning, he always welcomed us with his friendly and cheerful demeanor, even when we could barely keep our eyes open. All the guides at the different locations were great, too—we especially took Suci to our hearts. The entire tour, from communication down to the last detail, was lovingly put together and curated. Review Body: LOVED this trip. Amazing experience, and gives you a totally different side of Indonesia that you wouldn’t see in Bali. Our guide at Mt. Bromo took us to spots with no tourists which was wonderful! Sukamade and the turtle sanctuary was my favorite part. You are able to see villages in the jungle and observe the wildlife! I would recommend bringing good hiking shoes, especially for Mt Ijen, as it is quite slippery on the way down! Suci and Bagus were amazing guides! They made us feel so welcome and taken care of, definitely sad to leave them at the end of the trek :(

Review Body: We did the 5D4N East Java tour and I highly recommend it! Everything was very well organised, with seamless transitions between accommodations, activities and guides throughout the trip. Our driver, Itong, was amazing. He was incredibly skilled at navigating the busy roads and always got us to each destination safely and efficiently. Each destination was amazing and unique in its own way. Unfortunately, Ijen was closed during our trip, but the plantation tour and additional waterfalls (Kapas Biru and panorama sriti waterfall) were great alternatives.

Review Body: Wonderful 5D4N East Java trip! Huge thanks to my driver Sigit and all the guides and jeep drivers for their kindness and professionalism. Bromo, Ijen, Sewu, and Sukamade were all memorable in different ways. It meant long hours on the road and very early mornings, but every moment was worth it. Seeing green turtles lay eggs and watching baby turtles head to the ocean in Sukamade was especially touching. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and wildlife.

Review Body: Booking ID #888666900 We had an incredible East Java adventure, covering breathtaking waterfalls, a truly meaningful turtle conservation experience and volcanic landscapes. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall was absolutely breathtaking! The gorge and the cave were simply jaw-dropping — nature at its best. Our visit to Meru Betiri National Park was especially meaningful and memorable. From witnessing a mother turtle lay her eggs on Sukamade Beach, to releasing tiny hatchlings into the Indian Ocean, and finally planting coastal pandan saplings along the beach to help protect their natural habitat — this was so much more than a sightseeing trip. It was an eco-experience that connected us with nature and conservation in such a special way. LOVE it 100%!! The sunrise at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park was another beautiful highlight. Our guide brought us to a wonderful viewing point where we could watch the entire volcanic landscape slowly transform in colour as the sun rose. Truly spectacular! A big thank you to Seek Sophie and your wonderful team. We travelled shortly after the wildfire at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, so naturally, we had quite a bit of anxiety about safety and the situation on the ground. The customer service team (Kai En, in particular) was very patient and understanding. They made it clear that they would completely understand if we decided to cancel the trip. More importantly, they kept us well informed with the latest updates from their local team, providing us with information twice, a week apart. They gave us ample time to consider the situation and decide whether we felt comfortable proceeding. They also reassured us that while there were disruptions, the situation was within reasonable control. With that reassurance, we decided to go ahead — and I am SO glad we did!! The local guides were excellent, and our driver, Sigit, was with us throughout the trip. He was knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely caring. He gave us sufficient time to enjoy each activity without ever making us feel rushed. His overall time management was also excellent. He planned our journey carefully so that we could reach each destination in daylight and still have enough time to rest afterwards. His strong relationships with the local teams were evident too — wherever we went, we were warmly welcomed and often treated like VIPs! Review Body: We had an amazing experience on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Indonesia! What we loved most was the sunrise viewpoint. Unlike the crowded spots you often see online, we had our viewpoint almost entirely to ourselves. It felt incredibly private and peaceful, allowing us to fully enjoy the magical sunrise without being surrounded by large groups of tourists. After sunrise, we visited two additional viewpoints with fantastic views of the crater, and we even had the opportunity to hike up Mount Batok. Our guides were absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They shared lots of interesting information about the region, answered all our questions, and genuinely made us feel well looked after. They were also amazing photographers! If you’re looking to come home with incredible photos, this tour is a 10/10. The scenery is simply surreal. The views are breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Combined with the excellent service and the warm, caring guides, this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Review Body: 100% THE COMPANY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TO TOUR THE ISLAND OF JAVA. A 10, the car was very spacious and modern, the driver is at your complete disposal and their priority is to ensure that you enjoy those days with them. We got Driver's Tone and we couldn't be happier with it. He taught us many things about Java and was always concerned that we would not lack anything. We felt super safe with him touring the entire island. The agency has different tour packages, but they adapt to what you need. We did SURABAYA- BROMO- IJEN- SUKAMADE- BALI and it was one of the most unforgettable things of our trip. They take care of everything: transportation, local guides, tickets... The only thing you have to pay extra for is lunch and dinner. An advance is paid first when booking and then the rest in cash upon arrival. If you have any questions or requests, do not hesitate to ask. We asked them to stop us to buy coats and they told us not to worry, that they would lend them to us, at no extra cost (they could have asked for it because in Bromo and Ijen they rent them).

They took us by jeep early and our guide was 10/10, Hery!!! The driver we had in Java had amazing music in the car, always helpful for long trips. Itinerary Description: Bromo Tour start at 03:00am, the Jeep is waiting in front of your hotel, meet our driver then by Jeep drive to view point. The sunrises can be spectacular depending on weather conditions (not guarantee the weather) After sunrise back to jeep parking area and you will be heading to mount Bromo around 20 minutes The Jeep will park near Luhur Poten temple. A Hindu temple still actively used by the Tengger people living near mount Bromo, then walk 40 minutes one way to the top of mount Bromo. The last part is the stairs, climb up 245 stair to reach the top of mount Bromo, from the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater. 08.00 AM (approximately) : the 4WD will bring you back to hotel for have breakfast and shower. 09.30 AM : checking out and heading to Banyuwangi, approximately 6-7 hours drive, stay overnight at Luminor hotel or similar. Itinerary Summary: Ijen hike, Green Bay trek & Sukamade turtle spotting with jeep adventure and beach stops

Itinerary Description: 12:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Banyuwangi. Drive approximately 1 hour to Paltuding, the entrance point to Mount Ijen. 1:00 AM: Begin the hike to Ijen Crater. The trek is about 3 km uphill (1.5–2 hours depending on pace). You'll descend into the crater to see the blue flames, a natural phenomenon caused by ignited sulfuric gas. Note: Access to the blue flames may be restricted due to weather or safety conditions. 5:00 AM: Ascend back to the crater rim. From here, enjoy panoramic sunrise views over the turquoise crater lake. 6:00 AM: Return hike to Paltuding (about 1 hour). Your driver will take you back to your hotel for a shower and breakfast. 10:30 AM: Check out and depart to Rajekwesi Beach (2.5-hour drive). (Located on the southern coast, this beach marks the entrance to Meru Betiri National Park) 12:00 PM: Switch to a Jeep car and begin the off-road journey to Sukamade (2 hours). Roads are rugged and may include river crossings. Only accessible by jeep. 1:30 PM (optional): Stop at Green Bay (Teluk Hijau) for a short jungle trek. Trek ~35 minutes through the forest and rocky coastal paths. Enjoy this peaceful, hidden beach with white sands and emerald water. ( Depending on conditions, river crossings may be required. Comfortable shoes are recommended) Late Afternoon : Arrive at Sukamade. Check in at the Sukamade Guesthouse (basic accommodation). Free time to explore the area, observe wildlife, or relax. 6:30 PM: Dinner at the guesthouse. 7:30 PM: Meet with a conservation ranger for a turtle briefing. Walk to the beach with the ranger to witness sea turtles laying eggs. Eggs are collected and moved to a hatchery for protection as part of the conservation program. *Note: Turtle sightings and ranger-led walks depend heavily on season, tide, moon phase, and natural conditions. Rangers will determine the best time for the experience to maximize your chance of seeing turtles.
