This was pretty much the perfect day in Yogja. I was welcomed very warmly and everyone was super nice and helpful! The food and the tour around the village was also amazing. I would definitely do it again!

We had the absolute best day at the studio! Everybody was friendly and helpful and so so talented! Batik is much more difficult than I expected (and I didn't come in thinking it looked easy). That said, with the help of the artists we walked away with something we are very proud of. The entire process is amazing and will really help you appreciate the unique art medium. The cooking class was also incredible. We were given the option of cooking many different traditional dishes and both my wife and I got to pick our favorites. Overall this was one of our favorite days in Yogyakarta. It felt more like we got the privelage of hanging out with a close knit artist community for a day than a traditional tourist experience, which led to a day we'll always treasure. Oh, and they even made us an amazing edited highlight video of our experience and sent us all the cooking recipes. 100% recommend booking!

Lovely experience doing the eco printing batik, we really enjoyed picking all your own leaves and flowers and got lovely scarves made too! Highly recommend

I did this event solo and it was great! Huanag and the Ibu (granny) were great teachers. The entire village is so lovely and there a lot of genuine art you can buy here first hand from the creators.

The whole experience was awesome. The batik class session was enjoyable and made us appreciate the batik artists who create the magnificent paintings. The cooking class was good especially for me who doesn’t know how to cook, and the “pepes ikan” turned out to be delicious. I was proud of my own cooking.

We had an absolutely amazing day with Leksa Ganesha! We spent the whole day painting and cooking, and we loved every minute of it.

What we especially appreciated was that we were given plenty of time to take everything at our own pace. There was no rush at all, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed and enjoyable.

What made it even more special was that we actually got to do everything ourselves. We had the equipment in our own hands throughout the entire experience and only received verbal guidance when needed. This made it genuinely feel like we had created everything ourselves, rather than simply following someone who did it for us.

It was such a fun, hands-on and authentic experience, and we would highly recommend Leksa Ganesha to anyone looking for something creative, local and memorable. We had a wonderful day!
