Review Body: If I could review 10/5 stars I would !!!!! This was one of the most meaningful travel experiences I’ve come across. Nalom and yoga are incredibly passionate about community and nature, and they shared so much about life in Munduk and Indonesia. We ate fresh, local food grown in Munduk, trekked beautiful forests while understanding the environment along the way (how a white pepper plant tastes before its being processed, ginger flowers that can be used as shampoo, smelled fresh Pandan leaves, saw diff types of coffee plants), swam in the cleanest lushest waterfalls, ate SO WELL and were so hospitably taken care of at the campsites and all through out. Every part of this was incredible. Huge thank you to nalom, yoga and the getaway team! Huge shout out to nalom also: he is really the coolest!!! Everything he’s done here is so intentional. Down to packaging: all our food was hand packed in banana leaves and packaging was all biodegradable if it was disposable packaging. he’s also involved so much in meaningful work in the area, for example: organising for kids in schools in Munduk to visit forests to clean it up and build a respect toward nature. These trips also contribute to local families and businesses directly. Huge respect and feel more than happy to support getaway Bali. If ur considering this trip, don’t hesitate JUST GO ALR!!

Review Body: I did the 2 day camping trip and it was definitely one of the highlight of my trip in Bali! Nalon came to pick me up from my place and even bought breakfast for us. (You will never go hungry on this trip cause you are CONSTANTLY being fed authentic balinese food - YAY) We went to 2 waterfalls (and they are the best I have seen here! The best part is it is a hidden gem and we had the whole waterfall to ourselves!!) Note that this is a "slow travel" concept, where we are not in a rush to go from one activity to the next. You really get to take your time to be present and enjoy the moment in nature.. We camped by the campfire at night too with Nalon playing the guitar for us. This is definitely a trip I recommend hosted by wonderful people with genuine hearts. I got to meet the locals here (who helped set up our tents, guided our jungle treks, cooked for us etc) and understand their culture better too. Thank you for the amazing memories and beautiful stories shared, Nalon! Go for it, you won't regret it :)

Review Body: This was a FANTASTIC tour!! If you are looking to get out of the busy, tourist-heavy spots of Bali, please come here! This is the perfect way to connect with nature, see gorgeous stars, eat delicious local food, and experience beautiful, quiet Bali. I didn’t know Bali was this gorgeous! You will canoe, hike in the forest, try so many delicious Balinese fruits, see some beautiful hidden waterfalls! It has everything. Our guide, Yoga, was so kind and caring, wanting us to have the best time, and had so much knowledge about local plants, fruit, and nature! We ate plenty of food and fruit, and he always had water for us. We even made s'mores by the campfire at night! Thank you so much for this experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

Review Body: Camping under the full moon on the edge of Lake Tamblingan was one the highlights of my recent trip to Bali. Our guide Kadek, and all The Getaway Camp Bali team, looked after us expertly. This 2D1N tour of beautiful waterfalls, peaceful temples, canoeing on the stunning lake and trekking through the jungle forests around Tamblingan was wonderful. But what made even more special was getting to know our friendly and knowledgable guide Kadek, eating locally cooked meals in a village house nearby and seeing and learning more about real Balinese culture and authentic village life. Talking into the night around a campfire and waking up with the sunrise to the low mist sitting over the lake will be a special memory.

Review Body: I have been to Bali many times and yet I was being brought to a different, slower, more real side of Bali. The waterfalls are out of this world and truly special. A part of me hopes they will never get busy and would like to keep them "hidden". I was glad that it was Nalom taking us out and introducing us to the special connections he has established over the years through his big heart to be one with the places and people he brought us to. Me and my 2 teen boys really appreciated the trip despite my younger one being very ill (and Nalom adjusted the itinerary to cater for this, even carrying him up the path after the wasterfall). I hope to return soon!

Review Body: The trip was really well organized and coordinated from pick-up at our accommodation to drop-off. Our guide was Yoga and he was so helpful to ensure we were always well-fed and taken care of! We also visited his grandmother’s place and had his family was really hospitable as well! Although we didn’t have the best weather during our trip, he still ensured that we were able to do the planned activities safely. The meals prepared by the village chief and his family were absolutely delicious. (Best corn fritters we have eaten!) Thank you so much for making our camping trip a fun one!

Review Body: Thoroughly enjoyed the camping experience! It provided a rejuvenating escape from the city's constant buzz. The village chief, camp organizer, and all the locals we encountered were welcoming, and the food was delightful. Regarding the day 2 trek, it started off well. However, the similarity in tree species and repetitive explanations (like about the parasite tree) made it less engaging as it progressed. Perhaps this could be swapped out for a more varied activity in the future. All in all, I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Review Body: Nalom was a very sweet and kind guide. I booked the camping trip and was initially supposed to be with two others. In the end, I was alone, and Nalom made it a fantastic time. He knows a lot about the area and goes above and beyond to help the locals. He wants to make sure everyone has a good time and a good life. I would definitely recommend booking a trip with him. It's also great that it's completely untouristed. You see quite a few undiscovered areas in Bali.

Review Body: Had an amazing time on the 2 day Lake Tamblingan camping tour. Nalom is absolutely lovely and really cares about supporting the communities this tour visits. Nothing moves too quickly and there is no rushing. Lots of time to soak up the atmosphere of the beautiful locations you visit. The camping is comfortable and the food is delicious and plentiful! Highly recommend this tour (or any tour by Nalom) to anyone interested!

Review Body: TLDR: Beautiful waterfalls, good food, peaceful lake, cosy campfire and saw the Milky Way! Nalom and his team were so welcoming, loved every bit of the trip :) we also got to visit the chiefs home for our meals, felt like we were visiting a friends place :) tip for the trip: recommend bringing a thin puffer for the night and a small day bag, most of the trip your main bag is kept in the van / tent.

Review Body: This was a great experience and especially because of the team who assisted us. Gede was amazing made fire for us even in the rain he just found a way and a place to make it. Even got some marshmallow for my kid. Was patient and looked all the way for our needs. Komang was a great help as well and brought us amazing local meals which we truly enjoyed. Review Body: Very enjoyable experience with Dodik, Uncle and friends. They accommodated all of our strange questions about the camping environment, and even showed us how to pitch a tent from scratch. It was a really comfortable time, and also side note: food provided was amazing. 10/10 experience, the waterfalls were my favorite bit. Also all the dogs and cats we met along the way.

Review Body: Overall a great experience, we loved that we had the chance to see the local life and appreciate great conversations near the fire with Yoga our guide and friend. I have to say that without Yoga it wouldn’t have been the same! The five stars go mainly to him, as I said overall I’m happy with the experience but I think it’s a bit too pricey for what it offers.

Rian, our guide was lovely and really enjoyed the walking and the visit to the temple. I've seen a lot of waterfalls but these felt like something out of the garden of eden ( what you would imagine). At the end we will surprise you by visit 800 years old Ficus right inside the jungle • Head up to the local Balinese house for one last meals before we heading to the second waterfalls • Amazing mountain waterfalls where you can freshening your body and after we will drop you back to your acommodation
