Review Body: One of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. It’s liberating, this tour. I booked the tour + round trip bus. Travelled solo, realise I got the tour dates wrong when I was already at the bus station ready to depart from Hanoi to Hagiang, got help from the Dragon team, everything via text. Long (bossman) of the team was responsive and immediately changed my bus date earlier, he also shifted my tour dates earlier to accommodate to my mistake. Grateful! Also for over thinkers like myself, here are a few things I wish someone told me before going on the tour. I did this in the last week of March: 1. Unlike what you watch on YouTube, this tour is a small tour. I’ve asked the team and they mentioned that the fleet size usually doesn’t go beyond 6. The tour I was on was 6, it’s a comfortable amount. 2. Homestay was good by their standards, I’ve got no complaints. Basic necessities were provided. I bunked with a fellow traveller. Just two of us, and an ensuite toilet. 3. Food was great, you’d be sharing about 8-9 dishes tgt with your group (excluding drivers). Drinks are provided only for lunch. 4. Bring cash along with you! For coffee during the pitstops they make. And beer in the evening. A coffee would cost about 30-40k viet dong, and 20-35k for beer. 5. The day typically starts at 9am after breakfast, and ends at 4pm. We explored the city, and I really recommend this. The locals are very friendly and you see them just living their lives. 6. Our motorbike riders were constantly looking out for us, making sure we’re okay and comfortable. Can get goofy and that’s how we all have fun! They are also safe drivers so don’t worry. It’ll be a good time. 7. Be ready to get a little sore after sitting on the bike. The trick is to relax and not tense up. Honestly, you don’t always have to hold on to something, it’s pretty stable for most parts! Just book this trip already. It’s a cheaper alternative to i.e. NZ/Aussie/US road trips. Besides you’re on a motorbike, there’s nothing between you and nature.

Review Body: It was absolutely fantastic. I arrived early at the homestay in ha Giang and was offered to stay overnight which was perfect. In the morning Long , told me that I was the only one who booked the tour (i was there very spontaneously and I think at the beginning of the off season - so he put me in a group with a friend of his. The itinerary stayed the same but he told me the homesatys could be different. In the end I was with a couple so we were 3 people and 6 people in total. The easy drivers were so nice and funny and the people from the other group were fantastic. Heads up: it gets bumpy , you s it a lot on a bike so you might get a little sore and your butts gonna hurt a little , might take a cushion or something with you if possible ;) The tour was really really really nice! Stunning views, we went past some Of the crowded pit stops and took a coffee or water at less crowded places , we swam in a river and a cave , we drove on a little path that’s for sure not on google maps (as advertised) and through beautiful villages and it felt like the tour really was off the beaten path! The first homestay was breathtaking , really nice and the food overall was good as well. The second homestay was not really nice , due to overbooking by some other companies there were no rooms left for us so we had to stay somewhere else. Tbh not really nice , but I think that’s not their fault. Was fine for the night. The experiences made up for it. Like for real, the scenery and landscapes are unreal , and everything else went smoothly! So I highly recommend it! After the tour I was coming back to dragon home (the local organizer - his names Long) Was offered a shower and he helped me book me a bus back to Hanoi (not included in the 3D2N package) including a transfer to the bus station. Overall , I had three awesome days , unbelievable views and landscapes and I can highly recommend the tour and experiencing this part of Vietnam like this - everybody should do this at least one time in their life.

Review Body: Dragon Dream's Ha Giang Loop tour blew me away!! I don't know where to start! I did the 3D2N tour, and would definitely recommend it. Long was very helpful with organising the transfers/transport. All the meals were 10/10, so delicious and nutritious, Dragon Team were very accommodating when it came to dietary requirements. I don't eat pork, and another rider was vegetarian, and at every meal there were plenty of options and variety that we could still eat. The tour itself was unforgettable. The views were unreal and we had small breaks every 30 minutes or so which was great. All of the Easy Riders (drivers) were excellent and very skilled, I felt so safe and relaxed with my rider (Sun), and was never worried about my safety. During the tours we visited waterfalls, caves, multiple ethnic communities and small villages, making it much more than just a motorcycle tour. Another thing that is special about Dragon Dream is the size of the group, we had 7 lovely people in our group, and 4 on the last day. I have seen other companies with much larger groups, and it seems much less personal and connected to Vietnamese culture. Having a smaller group is peaceful, fun and wholesome as you bond with your group and riders, especially in the evenings, where you can do karaoke and drink Happy Water! The Homestays were also very good, I was in a private room and had a double bed on most nights, with hot showers, towels and some basic toiletries provided. Dragon Dream chose homestays that weren't overcrowded, and they all served delicious food everyday. Other Ha Giang companies have larger groups, they experience less Vietnamese culture and are just about partying every night. Choose Dragon Dream for unforgettable experiences off the beaten track, you will have an amazing time and will feel supported and looked after.

Review Body: Had a great time with the dragon team. I have had motorcycle accidents in the past but the driver ( Luis) was really careful and skilled and I felt really at ease. The landscapes are really gorgeous, it looks like a period drama /studio ghibli film. The Homestays we stayed at were nice, the food was good, and the hot bath really lovely. Some of the stops felt a bit lengthy /targeted for a younger public (think loud music and groups of 20 something years old), but that was only a few, otherwise they were in very pretty spots and it allows drivers to rest regularly. I normally drive a scooter to work and am quite safety - minded so I wished they had more sizes for the helmets as mine was way to big to offer protection. I did mention it at the end, apparently it's really hard to find more sizes in Vietnam, so I suspect it would be the case with all companies ( we certainly didn't see other tourists with better helmets around). I would recommend that you bring your own kevlar clothes and gloves, as the gloves available dont cover your fingertips, and they only provide rain jackets but no specific motorcycle wear. Altogether really loved my tour with dragon, if you feel a little adventurous, go for it!

Review Body: This tour promised to go on a route away from the main routes of bikes and to have some cultural experiences in nature. I can honestly say it truly delivered and then some. Dragon team had everything well organized, timely, with plenty of rest breaks in beautiful places. They played Da Cau with the young guys, were always laughing and joking with each other, and let me join them for green tea in the mornings. We spent time among the Tay people and were lucky enough to be present when there was a locals market happening, selling everything from animals to farm implements. My driver Guan (guessing at the spelling here) was outstanding in his consideration and care for me, always making sure I was safe, happy, and offering me new things to experience. I felt completely safe even on the very rough, steep and narrow roads. Even though I cannot speak Vietnamese and he could not speak much English we got by with generous use of friendliness and the occasional use of a translator app. We also had a couple of english speaking guides in the group who could help us when it was getting all too hilarious! By the end I was so relaxed and full hearted. I'd definitely recommend traveling with them.

Review Body: We loved the 3D2N Ha Giang Loop experience that we booked with Dragon Dream! We stayed for one night at the homestay prior to the tour, the family is super kind! We ended up being the only two people on this specific tour. Our tour guides Bambi and Rang were amazing, we always felt very safe while driving & enjoyed the paths off the typical track and the interesting stories they knew about the many stops along the way. Their company was entertaining and kind, it felt like driving with friends! The homestays on both nights were great too, we enjoyed the private-room-upgrade, the family style dinners, karaoke and happy water! We'll definitely recommend the tour to our families and friends and hope to be back one day!

Review Body: Was having a blast riding with Long and his super team! Long was my easy rider and also our group leader, who always make sure we have a great time and have enough food! He took us on a non-touristy route, off the beaten path through a rural village so we could see the real Ha Giang and get to interact with the locals. I would highly recommend Long and his team to guide the Ha Giang riding tour. Would recommend staying overnight after and before the trip, so you would not stress about the transfer back to Hanoi, as the bus schedule tent to changed last minute. Luckily Long helped us out to buy the bus ticket and call them when they didnt arrive on time. Thanks so much Long, Dzhui and the rest o the team!

Review Body: Hellooo, first of all I want to thank our guide (dragon guy) and our mini drivers and of course the amazing group for making this experience so special for us. We always stopped in between for taking pictures, resting, eating 3 times a day, some history lesson, legends and the amazing evenings we sang karaoke, told each other stories, drank together. We choose this tour randomly but It was 1000 times better than I had imagined. Will recommend it to everyone travelling to Ha Giang in the future. Thank you!!!!!

Review Body: Hands down the best 3 days I spent in Vietnam. The team at Dragon team were experienced, knew every turns and valleys of Ha giang. Felt extremely safe with my Easy rider Sen. The ride had regular stops each 15-20 mins giving good rest time in between and soaking in the majestic beauty of Ha giang. The local food was delicious and the stay were hygienic. Brownie points to Karaoke nights each evening.

Review Body: Very organised local operator, they looked after us so well. We stopped at all the view points and had some great food along the way. We felt safe as an easy riders and had confidence in our riders. The added bonus is knowing that your money has gone to a local buisness, and a small portion also goes to help local people too. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering the Ha Giang loop.

Review Body: One of the best adventures I had experienced. Long, Dzhui(my easy driver) and the whole team took a great care of us and showed us the routes with magnificent views, we also got to experience the local life, homestays were comfortable and food was good! This is definitely a different kind of tour, but I had a great fun and had no issue during the trip. I'd go back one day.

Review Body: What an adventure with the Dragon team! They made sure we were all safe, but more than that, they really looked after us. Vanh, our amazing leader and driver, was so welcoming! He shared so much about the area, it felt like we were exploring with a friend. And I loved that it was a peaceful trip – no crazy party scene, just good company and beautiful scenery

Review Body: The Ha Giang loop is a must-do. I really enjoyed our Tour with the Dragon Team, as our group was small and we did not lose much time with hopping on & off at stops. Our guide knew the region, showed us a lot and could get us to less crowded spots. He could also adjust for our wishes and do little detours.

Review Body: I highly recommend Dragon Team trip. What a great experience. Our drivers were both fun and safe. I would talk with the owner in advance and discuss itinerary options. I expected more people to be self driving but 100% easy rider is the way to go.

See Ha Giang Loop differently from everyone else, in more personal way
If you want the Ha Giang Loop without following the same busy tourist convoy as everyone else, this 3D2N experience is great. It was created by a Ha Giang local who knows hidden backroads and off-map mountain routes that most travellers never see, and some aren’t even marked on Google Maps. With groups capped at 10 people, it feels far more personal and far less party-heavy than the bigger loop tours that can run with up to 30.That smaller group size changes the whole feel of the trip. You ride with safe, friendly local drivers who know the region well and share stories at the stops, rather than just rushing you from viewpoint to viewpoint. Guests often say it feels more like travelling with friends than joining a standard tour. The local feel continues after the riding ends. You’ll stay in traditional homestays, eat family-style dinners, and get a closer look at daily life in the mountains. Some evenings even end with karaoke and happy water. If you want more time to explore, there’s also a 4D3N option (add as an add-on!) with extra stops and viewpoints. What to Expect3 days exploring the Ha Giang Loop on lesser-known backroads and hidden routesSmall-group experience capped at 10 peopleSafe, friendly local drivers who share stories along the wayStops at remote villages and mountain viewpoints beyond the usual tourist loop2 nights in traditional local homestaysFamily-style local dinners, sometimes with karaoke and happy waterA more local, less party-focused way to experience Ha GiangGood to KnowBest for travellers who want a quieter, more personal alternative to big-group loop toursRiders prioritise safety - unlike many other Ha Giang Loop trips! This is a multi-day motorbike trip, so expect long hours on mountain roadsHomestays are cosy and local, not hotel-styleFree pick-up is available from Ha Giang City CentreIf you're coming from Hanoi, you can add a bus transfer during bookingVIP single cabin sleeper bus timings: 8:45, 10:45, 12:30, 18:45, 19:30, 20:20Limousine van timings: 6:20, 15:00Please write your preferred bus timing in your booking notesA 4D3N version is available if you want more stops, viewpoints, and time on the loop (see add-on form!).Getting thereIf you're coming from Ha Giang city: Your Host can provide free pick-up from Ha Giang City CentreIf you're coming from Hanoi: You can select Hanoi bus tickets add on in the booking form, and your host will arrange a bus from Hanoi for you.Hanoi bus ticket timetableVIP single cabin sleeping bus (24 cabins on the bus): 8:45 | 10:45 | 12:30 | 18:45 | 19:30 | 20:20Limousine van bus: 6:20 | 15:00Please write the bus schedule that you want to book in the booking note when you making booking for the tour.Room ArrangementThe listed price is based on 2 guests sharing a private room with an ensuite bathroom. If you’re travelling solo, you can choose between:No single supplement: You’ll still have your own private room, but the bathroom and toilet will be shared.Private ensuite room: If you’d prefer your own private bathroom and toilet as well, simply select the Single Supplement add-on when booking.
