Peter 是 Hands Across the Water 的创办人。2004 年海啸后，他曾在泰国担任法医调查员，随后创立了这家慈善机构。原本只是想帮助尽快确认遇难者身份，但当他亲眼看到孤儿们的生活环境后，这份工作渐渐变成了一件更大的事。深受触动的他，建立了这家慈善机构，希望为这些孩子带来更安全、更有希望的未来。Peter 同时也经营一家咨询公司，并因其人道主义工作获颁澳大利亚勋章。通过他在泰国开展的项目，他找到了将有意义的旅行与真实社区影响结合起来的方式——支持儿童教育、创造本地就业机会，并在全国推动可持续旅游。
