My heart is full from this magical experience!!
It was an honour to see Wayan’s work with the fireflies population and the local farmers. His team of talented biologists are doing meaningful work for the environment and hearing about their research was so inspiring!! Furthermore I also had a tour with Wayan’s son Krishna who showed me the plans and explained to me the various fruits they are growing. The food prepared by Wayan’s sister was the best I ever had in Bali and it was incredible to see their kitchen and learn how the food is prepared. I felt so welcomed!! The driver to the tour (Bimbo) was also super kind and told me interesting details about the layout of the traditional Balinese house.
Overall a truly amazing and worth it experience!! Highly recommend!!

Greenbike’s bike tour in Ubud is a 5+ hr tour which included breakfast, lunch and a sampling of local treats. Unexpectedly, it also included transfers from our hotel which was extraordinary value (and very convenient).
The tour explores Balinese culture and community through a scenic bike ride on quiet country roads and off the beaten track. We visited a traditional Balinese home, sampled Indonesia’s famed luwak coffee, stopped by Bali’s second largest temple and finished the tour at the rice fields.
It was a meandering 22 km round trip, best of all mostly downhill. Our guides ensured our road safety and remained vigilant throughout. Riding the backroads roads and narrow trails, known only to locals was a highlight. As an occasional recreational rider only, I especially enjoyed the trickier trail parts that were unpaved, rocky, puddle-ridden.
Tips: As we travelled to/from Ubud from Nusa, we experienced Bali’s snarled traffic. It made for a long day but it was worthwhile.
While the torrential rain in Nusa didn’t instill confidence initially, it eventually subsided. We appreciated the overcast, cooler day. Trust the experts at Greenbike to gauge the contingency plan.
A special thanks to our guides Amin and Ketut for sharing their insights, and to Rina at Seek Sophie who responded quickly and efficiently to my questions beforehand.

Lovely to get out of the touristy parts of Bali. Loved the ride there and back again.
Informative tour of the coffee plantation, and professional tasting experience.
We bought a lot of coffee to take home and hand out as souvenirs from our trip.

This was such an amazing trip! Experiencing the jungle with a bike was so special! And we also visited a local home where we learned a lot about Balinese culture and traditions, which was also really wonderful. The food was also great! All in all an unforgettable experience!

Putu and her lovely team have made this a beautiful spiritual experience. It was a lovely small group of 5 ladies and I was beautifully cared for. Putu really made it special by allowing time for reflection and meditation.

It was a pretty good trip. I think that I thought there would be a better value for what we were paying for the trip. We paid for 6 people (2 adults/4 kids). I think if we would have just paid for 2 adults the value would have been great, but since we paid nearly $500 USD it didn't seem to be a great value.
That being said, all of the hosts and guides were amazing and I am glad to pay the money so hopefully they will get paid well for the trip.
Pros:
Amazing hosts
Breakfast amazing
Lunch was amazing
Hike was very easy for kids and very informational which we enjoyed
The boat ride was fun although short.
The waterfalls were amazing! (challenging hike back up to the car with 4 kids)
Cons:
not great value
boat was made of fiberglass not a true "dugout" as was mentioned in the listing
