This was such an amazing experience! 

I was really apprehensive as someone who is not very athletic and also plus size, but I had a brilliant experience and it was a very enjoyable route spanning the rice plantations, jungles and neighbouring village. 

The breaks were well spaced out and our guide, Gede was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. He ensured the path was always safe and stopped regularly when I needed a break.

The breaks were well spaced out and our guide,  Gede was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. He ensured the path was always safe and stopped regularly when I needed a break. 

Dewie gave us the best cycling day ever! He was punctual, knowledgeable on all things Bali 😀.. and was up for conversations about broader World issues … all our questions were very well answered and the whole day became a relaxing informative and fun day .. the bicycles were well maintained and matched to the cycling conditions of road, laneway and narrow dirt paths .. the traffic on roads was minimal and it was as described, ie 90% downhill. Dewie had a support cyclist who did a great job at intersections holding spaces for the tour to turn across any traffic . The firefly research lab was very interesting to hear about and see the fireflies life cycle stages.. as was the second oldest temple in Bali.. the tour runs 8.15 to about 2.30 so it is mostly in the sun with some paths through forests. Dewie was very patient while I sorted fresh sunscreen and coverups after each stop .. the pancake, coffee and lunch stops were all in traditional Bali spaces with explanations given of the traditional home layout and foods we were offered. There was no selling/buying solicited at all the whole day .. I highly recommend Seek Sophie and Greenbike tours to anyone seeking an out of the ordinary cycling tour in Bali.

Such a pleasant easy ride on backroads, both sealed and unsealed, through the local communities. Great variety of stops for the scenery, and to appreciate local initiatives. Being on the bikes gave a nice respite from the heat, an aspect my twelve year old son enjoyed greatly!

I had a wonderful day with Greenbike Adventure. The tour is one of the best I’ve done and the value was amazing! All of the guides were super friendly and helpful and extremely caring when I fell off (totally not their fault). The ride was super easy and mostly downhill. I would do this tour again if I was in Ubud and definitely would recommend!

Getting out of Ubud and seeing the local life was definitely a highlight of our trip. We saw rice fields, visited the locals and witnessed cultural traditions all first handedly. Dewey our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this trip to anyone traveling Bali and looking to support locals and seeking a unique eye opening experience

We were a group of 5 and aged 68-75. Ride was easy. Guides and driver were very caring and accommodating. Highly recommend. You see a lot of farm areas as well as rice fields. Lunch spot at end is very nice
