Great experience. Starts off with a boat ride under the stars across the late, followed by a quiet trek up the caldera. We were the only people on the route, very peaceful. Although the trek took ~45 minutes it was still fairly challenging and steep in areas. Our guide Wi was very knowledgeable about the area being a local himself, answering questions and taking photo for us. The local community brought us breakfast and coffee as we watched the beautiful sunrise with Mount Batur, Agung and Bagung in view

We did the hot springs extra and our driver took us to the nearby hot springs which were very relaxing after the hike. Our driver Yosi, was also very knowledgeable, he took us on to Munduk and gave us all the best places to see 

Overall great team and a wonderful peaceful experience

Dewie gave us the best cycling day ever! He was punctual, knowledgeable on all things Bali 😀.. and was up for conversations about broader World issues … all our questions were very well answered and the whole day became a relaxing informative and fun day .. the bicycles were well maintained and matched to the cycling conditions of road, laneway and narrow dirt paths .. the traffic on roads was minimal and it was as described, ie 90% downhill. Dewie had a support cyclist who did a great job at intersections holding spaces for the tour to turn across any traffic . The firefly research lab was very interesting to hear about and see the fireflies life cycle stages.. as was the second oldest temple in Bali.. the tour runs 8.15 to about 2.30 so it is mostly in the sun with some paths through forests. Dewie was very patient while I sorted fresh sunscreen and coverups after each stop .. the pancake, coffee and lunch stops were all in traditional Bali spaces with explanations given of the traditional home layout and foods we were offered. There was no selling/buying solicited at all the whole day .. I highly recommend Seek Sophie and Greenbike tours to anyone seeking an out of the ordinary cycling tour in Bali.

The highlights were waterfalls, rice terraces and brunch with spectacular views. Our driver &amp; tour guide Yosi was excellent, and took the best pictures of us. They helped us climb, shared their stories and welcomed us in their land with open heart. It was fun and light hearted with a breath taking view. Highly recommend! 
 The walk itself only takes 2 h up and down, intense but short climb. Get good shoes and good vibes ready :)

I could see the 5 volcanoes and we had a nice breakfast cooked by the lovely lady from the village. The tour was also great because of the team, all amazing and very thoughtful. They helped us climb, shared their stories and welcomed us in their land with open heart. It was fun and light hearted with a breath taking view. Highly recommend! 
The walk itself only takes 2 h up and down, intense but short climb. Get good shoes and good vibes ready :)

Normally I’m hesitant about visiting ‘factories ‘, but during our cycling tour we were welcomed at two families homes where the grandmother or mother was weaving traditional goods. At another house the familie showed us how arak (try the 35%version, you will be amazed how good it is) is made. 


The guide was nice and understanding. Unfortunately i felt sick and couldn't finish the trekk. But I wanted my daughter to have a nice experience and our guide called Wi, walked her to the final destination with a lot of care

This trek was great from start to finish and well worth the effort to see such a stunning sunrise with very few people - it felt really special. Whilst the trek was medium difficultly, it was still quite challenging and very steep in places, however our guide Nawa was really helpful and patient, ensuring we got to the top for sun rise. Our driver Angus was also great and we felt very safe on the dark hillside roads. We took the optional trip to the hot springs afterwards which was a lovely treat. 
 I would definitely recommend this trip.
