Review Body: They have two different locations, and I did the location that was there inside location. The shop was beautiful, and very professionally designed. I had a great time, trying my hand at mosaics, and I thought they did a great job helping a English speaker to understand how to safely create a fun art piece! The staff was very nice, the complementary drink was delicious, and my girlfriend and I laughed almost the whole time. I would definitely recommend this experience. The only drawback that I felt is important to mention is that it can be a little difficult to find this location because it is an area that is still being developed. But it is absolutely worth your time!

Review Body: This was such a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, away from the noise and crowds of. Hanoi. It was a wonderful way to relax with a creative activity in a peaceful environment. We were free to design our own mosaics. The hosts were perfect, friendly yet allowed us to work at our own pace, offering support when my children required it. Highly recommend. In terms of location - the journey was an easy 40 min ride from the city in a Grab.

Review Body: Loved this experience, nice to get out of hanoi and do something different. It was very relaxing. Also, well organised and easy to do, could be done by younger kids too. Location was easy to get to (134,000 dong from hanoi old quarter). Facilities were clean, area where you sit was clean and cool. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this activity and may go again if we have any spare time.

Review Body: It was a cute experience— making our own mosaic art. They just gave us the instructions of the process along with the necessary materials. The place was pretty and artsy, and the service was great. We had free drinks too. At the end of the day, we brought home our artwork. It was a memorable day!

Review Body: Enjoyed this event. The cafe area is stunning with lots of mosaic art. Also a little booth that makes drinks. Lovely and quiet midweek in June. A good break from the hustle and bustle of the city. And you get to take home your creation, which we have since gifted, but forgot to take photos of.

Review Body: Interesting ceramic painting workshop. The ticket includes one drink, so it's quite a bargain. Fancy space decorated with small ceramic pieces. Very village-style. It is suitable for people to go to the pottery village to rest. The staff is very enthusiastic and happy to assist you.

Review Body: Mosaic Garden Coffee is a beautiful setting to create unique art pieces...the mosaics in the garden are stunning and the coffee is amazing. The staff was friendly, greeted me warmly and gave me some basic instructions on how to do a mosaic. And then I was pretty much left to figure it out on my own (I did not come in a group and no one else joined this time slot). I think it would be helpful if the staff gave a little more education about mosaics, checked in with the customers more frequently and gave suggestions and/or tips. Overall, this was a great experience. I just expected a little more hands-on education. And, of course, this event is probably best enjoyed in a group.

Review Body: This place is absolutely lovely, and the mosaics are impressive. Come earlier or stay longer to really enjoy the different masterpieces! The staff was very friendly, and creating our own mosaic was a lot of fun. Even though I needed much more time and stayed after closing hours, they never said anything or rushed me, which I really appreciated. The only thing that was missing: the tour description mentioned an introduction and a visit to the showroom, but that never happened. We just sat down at the table and immediately started working on mosaics. Because of that, we felt a bit lost at times—but overall, it was still a very nice and relaxing afternoon.

Itinerary

Itinerary Day 1
Itinerary Summary: Get creative with your mosaic art piece!
Itinerary Description: Available time slots: + Morning: 9:00 – 12:00 + Afternoon: 14:00 – 17:00 Get creative with your mosaic art piece! Step-by-step guidance from our artists before you start creating your own piece. The steps basically include: Step 1 - Outline your design idea on the wooden frame. Step 2 - Select mosaic ceramic pieces to match your design preferences – this can be a fun test of patience ;) Step 3 - Glue down each mosaic piece as desire. The glue takes about 10 minutes to set, giving you time to adjust pieces if needed. You can also ask our staff to use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process at this step. Step 4 - Choose whether to grout your artwork or leave it without grout. Grouting will make your piece more complete and unified. However, if you prefer the natural wooden background as part of your design, you can leave it “original”. - Finally, our staff will step back to give you some peaceful alone time to create your mosaic masterpiece at your own pace. If you need any assistance during the process, they will always be nearby and ready to help.

Craft your own mosaic art piece in Vietnam's oldest pottery village
This artsy mosaic workshop in Hanoi’s famous 600-year-old Bát Tràng pottery village is a lovely way to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon in Hanoi. The workshop is set in a peaceful, beautiful space where you’ll design and make your own mosaic art on a wooden frame. A mosaic artist will be there to guide you step by step if you need help – from how to place your mosaic pieces to tips on colour and composition.Mosaics in Hanoi are more than just a pretty art piece - there's a long history behind it, dating all the way back to the French colonial era. You might have also seen the 4km long mosaic mural along Hanoi's main streets. It's actually a concrete dyke that was built to protect Hanoi from floods, and was turned into a beautiful work of art to commemorate 1,000 years of the city's history - using mosaics. Every section tells a story - from celebrating local crafts and key moments from Hanoi’s past.By creating your own little mosaic art piece in one of Hanoi's oldest handicraft villages, you’ll not only take home a beautiful piece of art, but leave with a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s traditions. What to ExpectYou’re welcome to walk around, look at finished mosaic pieces, and quietly observe how the space feels. Let the colours and textures inspire your own design. Our mosaic artist will be there to guide you step by step if you want help – from how to place your mosaic pieces to basic tips on colour and composition – but you’re always in control of your artwork.Create your own mosaic: you’ll design and make your own mosaic on a wooden frame, and leave with a finished piece you can take home as a personal memory of Bát Tràng.

Lerne deinen Gastgeber kennen
