Review Body: I’d you want the full Saigon experience, then you definitely need to take this tour with either Happy or Helen. When they say ‘Zero Tourist’ and ‘adventure’ they mean just that. We hit a lot of really great food that you just wouldn’t know to go to on your own. Each place has a special story associated with it. I won’t spoil those stories but they sure do make the whole thing fun. You are shuttled around on the back of a motorbike which is great fun in and of itself. And if you’re lucky you’ll get to go so some really interesting places outside metro Saigon which I am sure no other guide goes to. No spoilers. Definitely worth doing and highly recommended.

Review Body: I’ve literally done this food tour 3x — once solo, and then have taken multiple friends and recommended it to everyone I know. Have been on food tours all over the world and My My and Happy’s tour is the best by far!! The guides are so fun and knowledgeable, it feels like you’re just hanging out with friends. The tour is so expansive and takes you to far flung parts of Saigon that you would never know to venture to otherwise — truly zero tourists. And of course, the food is amazing! It’s more than just a food tour — it’s a comprehensive introduction to one of the world’s most exciting and interesting cities. DO THIS TOUR!! Xx

Review Body: Amazing tour. We took our kids 12 and 17 and it was just so fun to experience the hospitality of the people and guides, the amazing food offerings which are specially tailored to your group and to experience the traffic and night lights of Saigon. Visiting done of the many districts and learning about the distinct characters of each and some great local stories was so enlightening. Our guide Star was incredible! What a personality with so much love for her city and sense of humour. It is must do and we will do it again when we come back. There is no tour like this.

Review Body: This was truly my favorite experience in HCMC! I cannot recommend this tour enough. Amazing food, people, and experience! Everything we ate was mind blowing, and it truly felt like we were seeing a side of Saigon that we never would have otherwise. We had such great conversations with our guides, and felt completely comfortable with them the whole time. If you’re trying to figure out if this is the right tour for you to book, then I can confidently tell you it is. You can stop looking around for other tours and book this now!

Review Body: Helen was such a gem! Kind, informative, and she has this really sincere, positive energy that's just infectious. She was also super skilled on the bike especially navigating through the small alleys! I genuinely felt like I got to experience little pockets of Saigon that I would never have stumbled upon on my own, and that made the whole evening feel really special. The food was delicious, but I think my favourite part was the sense of discovery and all the stories that came with it. Super glad I signed up!

Review Body: This trip was my favorite adventure in HCMC! Touring the streets and alleys by motor bike, through districts most tourists never see was more exhilarating than I imagined. Our young English -speaking guides Kurt, Han and Vi grew up on these streets and provided commentary and stories about each district we visited. They also provided historical culinary lessons at each stop. The street food we sampled was even more delicious and more authentic than some of the wonderful restaurants we visited in District 1.

Review Body: This Food Tour on a scooter through Saigon traffic was exciting and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We never thought we'd do something like this. Our two guides (Tin and Vic) were really friendly and took great care of us (two ladies aged 68 and 73). The street food was also exceptional and very varied. Riding on the back of a scooter through the narrow streets and neighborhoods was simply incredible. We highly recommend this tour, it's exceptional. Thank you to the whole team.

Review Body: This is by far the best and most magical tour I have done. The food destinations were all so different from each other with absolutely delicious food. I really enjoyed seeing Saigon this way - I never would have found these places on my own. I loved everything- the flower market was so pretty. Helen was the greatest guide full of stories and history. Thank you Helen!! Absolute perfection

Review Body: The tour just felt like I am sitting on the back of a friends bike, going around to places I never would be able to find myself! It was very informative and relaxed, unlike other tours, I went solo so it was just a nice one on one which is what I prefer. My tour guide Dan was very patient despite the traffic and our tour went a little over time but he never made me feel rushed to eat.

Review Body: Happy’s team of young locals were brilliant in every way. Friendly, funny, personable and, most importantly, brilliant drivers! The tour takes you to some delicious food places in parts of HCMC you would NEVER visit otherwise. We literally didn’t see another tourist from about 5 minutes in. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Special mention to Snow who me and my partner loved.

Review Body: Had an absolute blast on the Saigon Happy Tour food tour. Our guides were super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience effortless. The food stops felt genuinely local—authentic, delicious, and not the usual tourist picks—and the 3.5 hours went by in a flash. Highly recommend if you want to eat your way through parts of Saigon you probably wouldn’t find on your own.

Review Body: The tour definitely kept it's promise to have no tourists on it. It was extremely nice to see some parts of the city that you probably wouldn't see otherwise and eat at restaurants you'd very often just pass by. Vic was a really great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and could answer all my questions. Overall a great experience that I'd definitely recommend!

Review Body: An excellent experience I can’t recommend highly enough! Snow was awesome, super safe scooter driver and we went to places I never would have found, and covered quite a distance! It’s a family run business, so going to spots her family eats at, and meeting friends and cousins along the way was super fun. Like being shown around by a friend of a friend. Loved it!

Review Body: This was hands down, the best food tour I’ve been on in Vietnam! Being a vietnamese myself, I can guarantee that they will show you local foods that the locals actually eat. Furthermore, the guides were so fun and entertaining. Besides explaining food, they also gave explanations to each different districts, the history behind etc. I loved it!

Review Body: Such an amazing tour! Our guides Travis, Stag and Vic were really good - very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a good variety of food which was all delicious and we definitely wouldn't have tried it on our own. I was a bit nervous to go on the scooter but they made us feel very safe and by the end I was having so much fun riding around.

Top!

Review Body: I’ve done a few food tours in Saigon before this and none of them come even close to this experience! The guides were great (Snow and Kevin are the funniest duo) and smoothly got us all around the city from one delicious meal to another - with no tourists in sight, and a sprinkle of interesting stories on top. Thank you!

Eat Like a Local on a Saigon Scooter Food Tour through Hidden Districts
There are a zillion food tours in Saigon — but this is the only one where you won’t see a single other tourist. Within minutes, you’re off the typical routes and riding pillion through 6 different districts, including hidden alleys and local ‘hoods you’d never find on your own. It’s not just about food (though you’ll eat very, very well) — it’s about seeing Saigon like a local, with locals.Unlike most food tours that stick around District 1 and visit the same well-known spots, this one dives deep into the city’s real day-to-day — suburban markets, backstreets, family-run eateries, and even the most personal stop of all: your guide’s very own home. This is where you’ll end the tour with fresh seasonal fruit and proper Vietnamese hospitality. Every bite is curated from over 300 places, with seasonal dishes, lesser-known street food gems (like duck turmeric noodles), and a variety of styles — from grilled to steamed to sweet treats you’ve probably never tried before. The guides are what make this experience truly unforgettable — warm, funny, and all born and raised in Saigon. They've crafted this non-touristy, small-group experience to feel more like being out with local friends, not following a flag on a stick. Whether it's your first time in Vietnam or your fifth, this isn't just a food tour — it's an insider’s ride through the city's soul. What to ExpectRide on the back of a scooter through 6 diverse, non-touristy districts of SaigonSample 7–8 authentic dishes, desserts, and drinks – tailored to any dietary needsDiscover unique local eats like duck turmeric noodle soup, BBQ lemongrass beef, and moreExperience a variety of cooking styles, from grill and steam to deep-fried and boiledVisit alleyways and communities that even most locals haven’t exploredEnd the tour with a rare visit to your guide’s home in District 8 — share seasonal fruits and a slice of real local life

Lerne deinen Gastgeber kennen
