Review Body: We just finished an amazing tour with Jo and Ken. It was nothing short of amazing and beyond our expectations. And it started with a bang: only a few minutes into the trip they had already spotted a gaggle of majestic Great Hornbills.
Jo and Ken were flexible, friendly, and above all you really feel like they listened to us (and our millions of questions about what we saw and did). We generally felt we were in the best of hands. One example was that they went out of their way to find some unique species based on our interests; where from our experience most other guides would have just stuck to their script.
They are also very knowledgeable and knew the name of most species which is really helpful. It makes the trip alot more meaningful. Having said that, they always remained humble and approaches nature with a sense of mutual learning.
On the park side I also find it necessary to share that we were really amazed how well kept it is and hopefully it can serve as a beacon of inspiration for many other parks to be established around the Region in the future.
Thanks Jo and Ken for making it truly an unforgettable day.

Review Body: FIVE STARS!! Jo and Ken are very knowledgable about the animals and environment in Khao Yai National Park. We enjoyed our tours (day and night) and saw a lot of animals. Ken took us on the day tour and was very aware of where to look for animals. He also was considerate of me being slow and not the most steady on my feet on the trails, but I was able to keep up and enjoyed it.

Review Body: Went on a Safari through Khao Yai National Park, our guide was Joe and she was super rad and knew her stuff. We saw monkeys, gibbons, deer, lizards, birds, and... ELEPHANTS! We did the full day tour and had an absolute blast. It was the highlight of our trip and would definitely suggest it to anyone debating on checking out the park.

Review Body: The night safari was a particular highlight with nightjars and porcupines. The guides were both excellent, with good English skills and comprehensive knowledge of the wildlife and where to find it. Special mention to guide Joanna who really makes an extra effort to make sure her customers are well looked after.

Review Body: Ken was our perfect guide and he was awsome.
We highly recommend a tour with him.
He is a careful driver, can explain everything about the animals and plants in English. Ken spotted animals even while driving. We took a 1,5 h walk through the Jungle and he showed us lots of animals.

Spend the day where rare birds actually are in Khao Yai
If you want a serious birding day in Khao Yai, not a general wildlife drive with a few bird stops, this private tour is one of the clearest choices. There is no strict schedule or fixed itinerary, we let the nature design our programme. This works especially well for dedicated birdwatchers, wildlife photographers, and nature lovers who care how birds are seen. Because the day is 100% private, you can get a full day shaped around your target species. The guide adjusts the route and timing to bird activity, weather, and your priorities, instead of following a fixed sightseeing circuit. The guides live and breathe this park: with years of training, an extensive local networks, and regular scouting of active nesting sites, they know where the birds normally are during your specific visit window, not just where they were last season. This means you skip the hours of searching that solo birders often spend, and go straight to the spots with the highest chance of a sighting. The guiding style comes from a family rooted in Khao Yai since 1995, founded by a former gibbon researcher who knew Khao Yai from the inside. That shows in the way the day is run: reading fruiting cycles, listening for subtle calls, and choosing habitats carefully rather than just driving standard routes. If you prefer authentic behaviour over easy staged sightings, this is a much more respectful way to bird in the park.Khao Yai is officially recognized by BirdLife International as both an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) and a Key Biodiversity Area (KBA). It offers close encounters with all four of the park's hornbills, the vibrant Siamese Fireback (Thailand's national bird), and jewel-toned species like the Blue-winged Pitta and Red-headed Trogon. It's also one of the world's few reliable wintering grounds for the globally threatened Silver Oriole which is a true rarity for dedicated birders. With over 300 recorded species amid stunning rainforest scenery, it's a birding trip that delivers both variety and rare finds. What to ExpectPrivate full-day birding safari in Khao Yai, usually around 12 hoursFlexible route based on your target species, season, and weatherEarly morning birding at viewpoints and forest edges, when activity is highestSlow searching around fig trees, forest trails, bamboo patches, stream banks, grassland edges, and salt licksEnglish-speaking birding guide with strong species knowledgeUse of a high-quality spotting telescope for long-range views and photography supportNational park entry, private safari truck, local lunch, snacks, and drinking water includedGood to KnowBest suited for keen birders, photographers, and patient wildlife watchersThis is a natural, ethical birding experience, so sightings are never forced or guaranteedA shared binocular and a telescope are provided, but we recommend bringing along your personal scope if possibleBreakfast is not included, but we will have a short break time at 10:00 a.m., we recommend requesting a packed breakfast from your hotel, or bring along some handheld foodWear dull-coloured clothing, long trousers, and comfortable walking or trekking shoesBring insect repellent, sun protection, and any personal medicine you may needExpect an early start, usually between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.There may be short walks on uneven forest trails
