Review Body: Rolling around Langkawi on two wheels hit different with Weishen and Ruth, our two guides who made everything comfortable, safe and super yummy! What a stunning way to experience Langkawi’s quiet little waterbodies and paddy fields, village backroads and friendly local encounters along the way — both human and non human. We loved the moments we had with them and will come back for more. Thank you for making sure we’re doing okay but also letting us roll at our own pace and take in Langkawi in our own way.

Review Body: Both Weishen and Ruth are incredibly welcoming and their extensive knowledge of Langkawi's roads and its many wonders allowed for a trip that was smooth, safe and fun! I got to see a side of Langkawi that only locals would know of. Their energy and hospitality are also what made the trip such a memorable one as our 60km ride even felt short and time flew by so quickly. I'm definitely coming back for more!

Ride Langkawi’s quiet backroads like a local friend showed you around.
What makes this ride special is the person leading it. Weishen is one of the few people who has cycled across the entire island, spending months exploring Langkawi’s backroads, hidden routes and quieter corners by bike. With the island as his home base, he knows the roads intimately — from scenic countryside paths to small local spots that are easy to miss if you’re just passing through. His love for cycling began with a three-month journey through Algeria, which inspired him to leave behind his old routine and spend the next few years travelling, camping and living closer to nature. Today, he is working towards an even bigger dream: cycling across countries. By joining his rides, you’re not just discovering Langkawi through the eyes of someone who knows it deeply — you’re also supporting his journey to make that dream a reality.Together with Ruth, Weishen has created routes that go beyond typical sightseeing, bringing you through peaceful countryside roads, local villages and hidden corners of the island they call home. Expect little moments along the way — stopping for fresh local fruits and cold drinks, enjoying coffee with a view of Gunung Raya, chatting with locals you meet on the road, and hearing stories about the places you pass. What to Expect3–4 hour guided cycling ride around Langkawi’s quieter countrysideLeisurely 20–35km route through paddy fields, kampung lanes and gravel farm roadsMostly flat riding with a few gentle climbs and some bumpy sectionsShort pre-ride chat, bike fitting, and basic group riding safety briefingBicycle and helmet includedCold local refreshments includedJoin-in experience, but only one group rides at a time; solo travellers may be paired with another riderStart from Temple Tree near Pantai Cenang, or possibly from your accommodation if you’re staying nearbyFlexible stops for photos, local detours, or optional breakfast and river dip breaksGood to KnowNo food is included, though you can stop for a local breakfast at your own expenseHotel transfers are not includedInsurance is not includedBest suited for riders comfortable cycling for 3–4 hours at an easy paceTerrain includes gravel paths, village roads and a few paved crossingsExtended river dip stops depend on route and timing that day

Lerne deinen Gastgeber kennen
