Review Body: All five points!
It was my treasure discovery in Shangri-La! The tent environment is spotless, the service of the B&B companions is very good, the dinner and breakfast are very delicious, and the scrambled eggs for breakfast are the most delicious I have had in many years of traveling. In the B&B, you can drink homemade wines from all over Yunnan. We tried the one named after the boss's daughter, it was great! I think the boss is doing something with all his heart, creating a relaxing, warm and cozy inn in Shangri-La for travelers! On the day of departure, all the friends in the B&B saw me off, I was very touched! If I have the chance, I would like to go back and live there.

Review Body: A perfect experience! Our family of four booked a three-day, two-night Tibetan-style king-size room and a hiking and horseback riding itinerary. The rooms and public spaces are very distinctive, the French dinner is excellent, and the experience of riding through the primeval forest is especially unforgettable. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and we felt the pristine nature and the unpredictable beauty of the climate. My 15-year-old eldest son and my 5-year-old youngest son both miss me when they came back! Thank you very much to the housekeeper Lan Yu, the guide Lu Ke, and the beautiful chef, auntie, etc. Your peaceful smile touches our hearts.

Review Body: For my last night in Shangri-La, I chose to stay at Liuda Farm, and I absolutely loved the ambiance. William and Summer shared so many stories with us about the brand and the muleteers. Everyone here was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming ❤️. The breakfast was plentiful, and for dinner, we had a yak hotpot at the farm which was exceptionally delicious—every piece of meat was large and substantial. The two of us ate until we were completely full, and we're still thinking about it, haha! 🥰 So grateful for this encounter! Looking forward to seeing you again next time ^_^

Review Body: The stay was extremely comfortable, and the environment was wonderful. The courtyard was a great place to relax, and there's a temple nearby called Tenpo-ji. Although the tent rooms shared toilets and showers, everything was very clean, and everything you needed was there. I usually travel on a budget when I travel solo, so I don't book particularly expensive accommodations, but this place was excellent value for money. I'd definitely come back next time!

Review Body: The stay was very comfortable. You can see the sheep outside the window while lying in bed. The fireplace was cool. It was nice to walk around. The food was delicious, especially the yak hotpot. The beef was very tender, the dipping sauce was very good, and the wine was also delicious. The staff are very friendly and the boss is very nice.

Review Body: Without Constantin's love for the land, we wouldn't have been able to witness such a top-notch presentation of the fusion of local culture and the spirit of adventure. Thank you! It was a wonderful two nights. I'll definitely go caravanning next time I have the chance!

Review Body:

Review Body: I stayed in a tent this time, and I thought it would be cold, but it wasn't cold at all. It was a unique experience. What I'll never forget is coming out of the tent at night to a sky full of stars, where all I could hear was my own breathing and the sound of horses grazing.
There's a beautiful grassland down from the farm, and the breakfast was delicious. For me, the experience was more than enough. That night on the grassland will forever remain in my heart.

Follow the ancient caravan trails of Shangri-La
For centuries, Tibetan horse caravans travelled through these mountains, carrying tea, salt and goods between remote communities. This 3-day journey takes you along the old trails they once travelled — on foot and horseback, through quiet valleys, Tibetan villages and high-altitude grasslands. You’ll travel 20km into Ringha Valley, where you’ll stay for two nights in the grounds of a restored 50-year-old Tibetan farmhouse, surrounded by barley fields, grazing yaks and village life. It’s not a resort or a quick cultural stop. You’re here to slow down and experience a side of Shangri-La that most travellers simply pass through. On your first afternoon, you’ll walk around 7km through rolling hills, across rivers and past small villages, stopping at Dabosi Temple along the way. There aren’t big sights to tick off here. The pleasure is in following the trail — passing traditional timber houses, farmers working their fields and yaks grazing in the valley. Back at the farmhouse, tea is poured as the light fades, followed by a home-style dinner. The next day, you’ll head higher into the mountains, with one horse available to ride and another carrying supplies — echoing the caravans that once travelled these routes. You’ll walk across open grasslands at around 3,650m, stopping for a picnic with huge mountain views and barely another soul around, before returning to the farmhouse by a different trail. What makes this journey special is that these trails and horses aren't just part of the scenery. Horse culture has long been central to Tibetan mountain life, used for travel, trade and carrying goods across difficult high-altitude terrain. The local Tibetan community is directly involved in the journey, so you’ll experience these mountains with people whose lives and traditions have been shaped by them for generations. If you’re looking for the Shangri-La of old caravan trails, wide-open mountains and quiet Tibetan villages, this is about as close as you can get. What to Expect2-night stay in Ringha ValleyChoose between cosy rooms or glamping within a Tibetan farmhouse compoundTransfers to and from Shangri-La town includedDay 1: ~7km (3-hour) valley walk through villages, rivers, hills and Dabosi TempleDay 2: mountain walk with optional horse riding, plus a support horse for suppliesHighland picnic, tea at the farmhouse and home-style dinnersBreakfast before returning to town on day 3English-speaking guide throughoutAt Ferme Liotard, the horse culture is an essential part of Tibetan mountain life and the historic caravan routes that once connected these valleys. Horses were traditionally used for travel, trade, and the transport of goods across high-altitude terrain, and this experience draws on that same heritage. The local Tibetan community is directly involved in running the journey, with income flowing back to them in a meaningful way, helping to support and preserve skills and traditions passed down through generations. It offers a glimpse into their daily rhythm of life in the mountains, shaped by these enduring practices. Horse riding is included as part of the expedition but remains optional, and guests are free to choose whether to ride or simply walk alongside the route.
