Lyon was an absolute delight. By the end of the evening, he had become like family. He was very knowledgeable about the local Hanoi cuisine and took us to so many family-run restaurants, ones that had some of his favorite foods, that we couldn't possibly eat any more by the end of the evening. We were so full. Most dishes we tried were things we had never heard of before, and we would never have known to order them or from where. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic experience!  Our tour guide Lucky was enthusiastic in sharing Hanoi and its wonderful street food. We did our tour in a small group of 4 which made for a tailored, more personal experience. We requested to go on a quest to try the best Bun Cha, and boy, it was amazing. Much better than the one we had ourselves without a tour guide. We even learnt how to eat it properly, which was handy! It was also a great way to meet like minded travellers and get an insight into everyday life in Hanoi! 11/10!

Amazing tour of Lan Ha Bay. Our tour guide, Chanc was seriously so good. He is a local and has been in this area for years so he knew the ins and outs of the bay. He took us to areas where no other tourists were and we had the entire area to our selves for the duration of the tour. He was so knowledgeable and took great photos/videos of us too. If you’re looking for a kayak tour of this area, you have to book it because he took us where other tours do not take you. Definitely worth the price!
Amazing!
Chans took us to all the less touristy spots using the kayak. We saw amazing lagoons, witnessed an amazing sunset. In the evening we had a nice dinner and did another kayak tour where we could see the blue bioluminescent algae.
Afterwards we finished the day at a local fisherman's family, where chans showed us how to clean a jellyfish.

I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cat Ba!
This trip was honestly the best part of my time in Vietnam. Our guide was very knowledgeable and ensured that we have a wonderful time. We really appreciated the planning and got to learn a lot about local people and go to places that are not visited by other tourist and caught crabs and collected mussels for dinner. Very well organized trip. Phuong (or Phoebe) maintained consistent, clear communication with me from the beginning. She gave me some options for the tour since I was the only one who signed up for camping experience. We remained connected via WhatsApp, as I was traveling via car, bus and shuttle bus to get to Ha Giang from Hanoi. When I arrived in Ha Giang, she messaged me before I could message her first,  I really appreciated her staying on top of the schedule. She welcomed me to the lodge where I was able to rest and prepare for the day. My tour guide for the loop, hiking and camping experience was Pao. He is a sincere, professional, respectful and friendly guide. I was very happy that he was my tour guide since he is one of the few ethnic Hmong guides in the area. He made me feel safe throughout my journey, gave me lots of information and history, took amazing photos, we laughed a lot and he paid attention my needs. Honestly I wouldn't change anything about the experience because as a tourist I'm traveling with the mindset that sometimes you have to go with the flow and embrace the experience for what it is and not what it could be. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking to beat the crowds of usually 15-40 tourists who participate in the partying aspect when they do the loop. Also, the experience of staying at the campsite by the river was just incredible. Also, all the meals I had were delicious! This is definitely one of my top 2 highlights of my trip to Vietnam! 
The trip was very well thought out and I appreciated how our guide, Pao, would make adjustments when we were too tired. Phuong was also very patient to answer all of our questions pertaining to the trip and was very responsive! Highly recommend this adventure 😊
This Ha Giang Loop experience was absolutely the highlight of our entire trip. Definitely not to be missed if you love nature or adventure! And having the easy riders was hands down necessary, I would not even want to go by myself even if I could ride a motorbike because then you get to relax and really take in the views and snap photos. The coffee shops we stopped along the way are so amazing too! This was so fun to do as a group of friends. 

So well planned so smooth - from ride to accommodation to food to accommodation to ride, we were just being literally shuttled around so you can really focus 110% on experiencing life.

The food was amazing and accommodations were great as well. Love the eco stone houses and I loveeee the campsite!! It was just so well curated. 10 out of 10 don't miss this off-beaten Ha Giang Loop experience!
This is a trip that I will never forget! Every single day was packed with breathtaking scenery and incredible experiences. 

The riders were absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort throughout the journey, always checking in with us and making sure we had plenty of pit stops to rest and soak in the views.

The riders are really friendly and it’s nice that we got to have dinner together with them on the last night too. They knew all the good photo spots along the way since they had a rider who was also a photographer/videographer.

Good to pack lighter and bring a day bag for this trip as they strap down your larger bag(s) to the back of the bike and while accessible, its still pretty troublesome if you need to access things.

The rides between locations were also broken down into shorter legs (anywhere from 15-30 mins for the longer legs) so its easier for us as pillion riders.

Most Ha Giang Loop tours are known to be super touristy, crowded and party heavy. This is not. This is one of the best Ha Giang Loop experiences that takes you away from the crowds to see a side of Ha Giang that few travellers get to see. Besides riding through beautiful mountains and valleys, what makes this Seek Sophie trip really special is the secret camping spot by the Nho Que River, where you'll wake up to insanely beautiful and quiet views. The campsite also has kayaks, so you can explore the river at your own pace. Most travellers only pass through on a crowded tourist boat - but here, you’ll actually get to kayak it, with no one else around. The homestays chosen are also really comfy and cosy - not the usual basic backpacker kind. Many guests have raved about the excellent food throughout the trip that can be made veggie friendly too! If you’d like more time to soak everything in, we’d highly recommend adding an extra day as an add-on. This lets you travel at a more relaxed pace and visit additional villages along the way. Day 3: Dong Van - Nho Que - Trekking through local villages07:30: Good morning! Enjoy breakfast at the homestay and check out.08:30: Transfer to Ha Giang and start hiking the White Cliffs. The route takes you through climbing villages and offers panoramic views of the scenic Ma Pi Leng Pass and Nho Que River, with seas of floating clouds below.12:00: The van will pick you up at My Homestay, where you'll have lunch.Then, you'll embark on a 4km hike along the beautiful Nho Que River, passing through villages inhabited by the Giay and Hmong people, with rice flowers lining the riverbanks all the way to the Vietnamese border.16:30: Arrive at the camping area next to the Nho Que Stream, offering stunning views of the Tu San Canyon. Set up your tent and relax before participating in a barbecue and artistic exchange. This campsite boasts some of the most beautiful views in the Dong Van Karst Plateau.Overnight: Stay at the campsite, with one or two people per tent. Day 4: Nho Que - Dong Van - Kayaking/Sup on Nho Que river - Floating party05:30: Wake up early to catch the sunrise, if the weather allows.07:00: Enjoy a cup of coffee or warm ginger tea, followed by breakfast at the Nho Que camping area.08:30: Check out from the campsite. Then, experience kayaking along the Nho Que River, passing through the stunning Tu San Canyon.11:30: Attend a floating party on the Nho Que River at Ta Lang Village. Afterward, continue kayaking or paddleboarding to Na Co Waterfalls, where you can swim and jump into the water.15:00: Riders will pick you up at Ma Lu Village and take you back to Dong Van.Overnight: Stay at a homestay in Dong Van Old Town, with 2-4 people per room. Day 5: Dong Van - Du Gia - Ha Giang07:00: Good morning! Enjoy breakfast at the homestay and check out.Morning, we will arrive at the village of Du Gia. The mountain passes are impressive, perhaps even more so than around Dong Van. In some areas you can see many rice terraces that turn golden yellow during the rice season. Along the way you will find a ruin of a French watchtower from the colonial era. Expect to give a lot of high fives to the kids along the way who greet you kindly. Continue, we will drive to Tham Luong waterfall. Arrive at the clearest water stream and have a refreshing swim there together with cold beers and snacks. Lunch time there.14:00: The tour concludes. You'll arrive in Ha Giang around 17:00. Take the bus back to Hanoi or Sapa.
