Our cheerful host, Cherry, brought us on a really enjoyable experience exploring the wet market and patiently guiding us on the various methods used in, as well as some of the history behind Vietnamese cuisine! The cooking studio was bright and spacious, and we cooked up a feast!

We did the street food tour with Alex. We would highly recommend. Alex was a great guide, who brought us to some amazing street food vendors in Hanoi, which you would never figure out yourself! Great start to our time in Hanoi. Alex was also very friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and the family run food places we went to!

Amazing experience! Learning about the different coffees and Vietnamese culture was great! We were also able to taste different Vietnamese wines made in-house by Luka. Only downside is that on seeksophie it states that lunch will be provided, but due to the different booking the company has we did not get lunch. However we got a decent discount towards our purchases. Just something to be aware of if you book through this platform. Still highly recommend this experience! Also the egg coffee was amazing!

An amazing and memorable experience. Beautiful ceremony, with lovely people, delicious tea and snacks. We had a meditation, watched the beautiful ceremony drank tea, learnt alot and had fun.

It’s an interesting and eye opening experience with the local market tour. Chef Duyen is very helpful in explaining and answering our questions.
The hands on cook our lunch was also great fun for us, love our small group and get to know two new friends from Indonesia & Switzerland. Love the local cuisine we cooked and were so full. Also, thank so Chef Duyen’s two little helpers/photographer during the session. Highly recommend to experience a local home cooked meal.

Lovely host and hostess. We chatted Vietnamese tea culture, wild 20m tall tea trees and the price of cars (4 billion!). The process of making the tea is an act of patience and love taking over a year to properly infuse.
Contrary to Japanese tea ceremonies (a solemn ritual of strict decorum) or Chinese tea ceremonies (a measuring contest of clout through flowery pomp and circumstance), Vietnamese tea is meant to be shared and enjoyed together. Thanks for the wonderful lesson and insights!

If you want to see the Perfume Pagoda, you have to go with a local guide like Minh. Not only does he help you navigate the journey, but he also shares personal insights, history and cultural information about the area, its people and customs. It is a very beautiful and special place, and we were glad we got to see it.
Highlights:
Minh was a great guide. His English is good, he's friendly and helpful, and he gave us lots of information to make the visit much deeper.
It is so beautiful. Totally worth the trip.
The lunch was generous and yummy.
I really liked that it was a small tour group, just 7 of us.
Tips:
It is quite a long day, so I would recommend taking extra snacks and water with you. You can also buy these along the way.
Be prepared for the weather. We went on a very hot day which was a bit tough at times but Minh helped us out - umbrellas on the boat, finding patches of shade, and organising cable car passes (there's no way we would have been able to walk up!) etc.
Take toilet stops when Minh recommends, he know which ones are cleanest.
We visited outside of the festival period so it was very quiet - we liked this! But if you want a totally different experience you could choose to go during the festival (Jan-March).
Embrace karaoke. No one cares if you sing badly.

This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip. Not only was every single dish we tried delicious, but also Alex was the perfect host! Next time I am in Hanoi I will for sure do this tour again!
