Under the guidance of Mr. Hung, the 2016 Tea Master Cup Winner, you’ll learn the art of tea-making, taste some of Vietnam's most special teas, and learn all about the history, culture, and philosophy behind Vietnamese tea.Mr. Hung and his wife are fiercely dedicated to protecting, nurturing and hand-processing tea from ancient trees - some 100 to 700 years old. Mr. Hung and his wife are the hosts of Hien Minh Tea, a traditional tea house in Hanoi. They are both passionate about tea culture and have a deep understanding of the nuances of tea. They are also involved in protecting and nurturing ancient Vietnamese tea trees. Their tea is made traditionally, with the tea master traveling to the mountains twice a year to make the tea. Mr. Hung and his wife opened Hien Minh Tea because they wanted to share their love of tea with others. They wanted to create a space where tea lovers could come together to enjoy the best lotus green tea, a revered tea in Vietnam that's less known outside the country.
