Unwind & slow down - forage for herbs, paint with indigo, soak in hot springs
Escape the city and retreat into Chiang Dao’s quiet mountain valleys. This 3D2N slow living farmstay is for anyone who's looking to slow down and reconnect with nature. You'll wake up to mountain views, stretch and do morning yoga by a lotus pond, join a guided food foraging experience with the company of the friendliest rescue dogs and cats! The meals here are one of the best - homemade from the freshest ingredients from the organic farm. And if you feel like it, you can even join the chefs in the kitchen to cook! You'll also get to do some creative and artsy experiences like making your own eco-print fabric using natural pigments from stones, flowers, plants and indigo dye. Our favourite way to end the night is to do a lovely evening soak in the hidden hot springs around the farm. Come as you are, leave lighter, and a little more in love with life 💛About the sanctuaryThis heartfelt bamboo eco-sanctuary is lovingly built by Yidan. She was originally from China, came to Thailand for work, and somehow found herself in Chiang Dao, after a big life shift left her feeling burnt out. She wanted to reconnect with herself, and found that the quietness and slow life of Chiang Dao was what she needed to heal. So with her savings and her dog Lucky, she built this bamboo home (by hand!) and started a small organic garden. Now, she works closely with the locals to nurture this thoughtful space - a sanctuary for anyone who needs a little rest. Why Chiang Dao?Just 90 minutes north of Chiang Mai, Chiang Dao is a mountain haven known for its quiet valleys, hot springs, and breathtaking views of Doi Luang. Meet your host

Yidan moved to Chiang Dao after a big life shift and found something she didn’t know she was looking for—a place that reminded her of the countryside where she spent the happiest years of her childhood. Originally from China, she came to Thailand for work, but it was the stillness of Chiang Dao that made her stay. With just her savings, her dog Lucky, and a lot of heart, she built a bamboo home and started a small organic garden. She now works closely with local, creating something thoughtful and rooted in the land. Yidan’s space isn’t flashy—it’s quiet, genuine, and built with care, much like the way she lives.
