Review Body: We’re so glad we decided to go on this experience despite our initial hesitation about the 4:30am start! It turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip and gave us a glimpse into a side of Hoi An that most visitors would never get to see. Ha is incredibly passionate about preserving and sharing local culture, and his knowledge and enthusiasm really shine through. Rather than simply taking you to local places, he gives you the opportunity to understand the traditions and stories behind them. We got hands-on with noodle making, visited a local fish market and rice wine distillery, and learned about the different crafts and practices that have been part of everyday life in Hoi An. What made this experience so special was how thoughtfully everything was put together. It felt authentic and rooted in the local way of life rather than being a typical tourist itinerary. You come away not just having seen Hoi An, but with a better appreciation of the place and culture.

Review Body: This experience is an absolute must if you’re in Da Nang or Hoi An. Out of everything we did in Vietnam, this was one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences of our trip. Ha, his wife, and the entire team are incredible. It felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into a side of Vietnam most travelers never get to see. We partook in traditional noodle making, learned about lotus farming, tasted lots of homemade rice wine, explored the countryside at sunrise, and met local families whose traditions have been passed down through generations. What makes this experience so special is that it goes far beyond sightseeing. Ha shares the history, culture, and heart of Vietnam in a way that is authentic and unforgettable. If you’re hesitant about the early wake-up, DO NOT BE!!!!!!! It is completely worth it. We left with a deeper appreciation for Vietnam and memories we’ll be talking about for years. Meeting Ha and learning about the work he and his team are doing for the people of Vietnam was something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Our guide took us far beyond the typical tourist trail to witness traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship and techniques that are rapidly disappearing as modernization and tourism reshape Hoi An.
