Review Body: My daughter and I had an incredible experience on this tour! Boarding a small boat, we cruised to the mouth of the Salak River and were thrilled to spot the Irrawaddy dolphins, saw a crocodile and couple of monkeys along the mangroves. Our boatman then stopped near Bird Island, allowing us to observe the stunning sea birds before proceeding to Satang Island. The journey to Satang Island across the South China Sea was breathtaking. The island is home to a turtle conservation project. We were fascinated to learn about the conservation efforts for Green Turtles and their eggs that are laid on the island. Visiting the hatchery provided us with a deeper understanding of the crucial conservation work being done. We spent the remainder of our time relaxing on the island's pristine white sandy beach, kids building sandcastles and playing on the beach, as well as snorkeling in the water. Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of adventure, education, and relaxation. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Review Body: We took this excellent tour on 7th February 2023, tour guide Mr. Joseph was very informative , jovial and flexible. We were picked from our hotel and this tour takes around 4 to 5 hours to explore the wetland and wildlife in Sarawak. Our boat Captain Mr. Wan Amin is a very knowledgeable man, he shared a lot of information about the habitat at the wildlife. We were so lucky to see the dolphins but just for a few seconds. Captain also patiently waited for dusk to fall and showed us the crocodiles and a few reflection of some crocodiles red eyes. Probocis monkeys too were spotted in the trees. We did see fireflies as well. Overall i highly recommend this tour for those who love nature. Not forgetting to mention Mr. David and his team are very attentive and responsive to any enquiry. Review Body: This tour is an eye opener for us as we get to see nature & its habitat at its best. We saw crocodiles 🐊 swimming near the shoreline, proboscis monkeys in their swamp habitat, we rescued a male turtle 🐢 who look weak, saw irrawaddy dolphins 🐬 popping their heads out of water ever so often. Our guide was very knowledgeable in turtle 🐢 nature conservation. He imparted a great deal of knowledge to use on turtle 🐢 conservation on the Pulau Satang Besar nature park. Overall it was great trip and we enjoyed it tremendously with our fellow boat occupants. All thanks to our guide & boat 🚤 captain from Ooo Haa.

Review Body: Our main reason for taking the trip was to see the wildlife in the mangroves and on Satang island. The local boatman was excellent at spotting them in the vegetation. We saw 2 crocodiles, a couple of dolphins, the turtle nesting area, and a variety of fish. Like all wild activities it is a rustic experience and a lot is dependent on the weather and tides etc., but it is very worthwhile . The boatman was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Review Body: This activity is really amazing. The tour company respects the wildlife. We managed to see dolphins, crocodiles, crabs and visited Pulau pahat where all the migratory birds will visit. Afterwards, we went to Pulau Satang for snorkeling and lunch. The island is also known for its turtle conservation efforts. They are managed by Sarawak Forestry and it’s interesting to know how they help the turtles.

We spot pod of dolphins swimming around before they took us to the wetland and the bird Island. The Satang Island itself are so beautiful as the water are pretty clear. Lots of friendly fishes. We were very lucky to have a perfect weather the whole trip.

Review Body: The contact number that was given to me for correspondence was not responsive to messages. Nevertheless, the guide, Mr Hanafie is great. Gave very detailed explanation during the trip. The food provided at the island is aplenty. Which is good. But the salad that came with the lunch box has started to turn bad and we did not eat it. Not being able to see the turtle is quite a disappointment. But overall, Mr Hanafie made the effort to share information on the turtle conservations. He saved the day!

Review Body: This was a lovely day, we got to see the dolphins and turtles which was incredible! The island was a special place. We were encouraged to pick up the turtles which I felt uncomfortable with. Especially as we had not washed our hands beforehand and they are very delicate. As such a rare species every one counts towards safeguarding their future. In the future, I hope these turtles are given the respect they deserve.

Review Body: Pretty ordinary tour and well overpriced. Guide didn’t provide any information while on tour (hardly spoke). And wasn’t informed that there was not a single turtle at sanctuary. Nor was given any information about the sanctuary and its work. Was also not offered snorkelling gear after advising we wished to swim from beach rather than boat (as we had an unwell member of our group who wished to stay on the beach).

Itinerary Summary: Dolphin spotting, turtle conservation and snorkeling in Satang Island

Itinerary Description: 7:45 - 8:15: The driver will pick you up, then drive from Kuching for about 45 minutes toward the Santubong or Damai area. Board a small boat and begin your cruise to the mouth of the Salak River. You should be able to spot the elusive and rare schools of Irrawaddy dolphins which are pretty common in this area. Our boatman will stop nearby Bird Island to see the sea birds before proceeding to Satang Island. Head out to the South China Sea for Satang Island. The island is part of the Satang National Park, where a turtle conservation project is located on the island. Green Turtles and the rare Hawksbill Turtles often lay their eggs here. Look in on the hatchery to understand the conservation work on these highly endangered sea creatures. Spend time on the island's white sandy beach or go snorkeling. You will be able to enjoy the corals and marine life in the island's crystalline waters. 12:30 - 13:00: A packed lunch and refreshments will be provided. 14:00 - 15:00: Retrace your journey back to Kuching in the mid-afternoon, and head back to your city hotel.
