Review Body: I went on the Bako National Park tour with Ooo Haa and it was such a great day out and my favourite experience in Kuching. Mr Foo and our driver Mr Jacky were great at spotting monkeys in the trees, and while we were watching, they would go scout ahead to bring us to where other animals were - if you love animals then this will be a really enjoyable tour for you. They also showed us a lot of native plants and trees and explained their uses. Lunch was also pretty good (I never expect much on guided tours) and they allowed us to order from the menu rather than eating from the buffet that had been sitting out. After lunch we went on a more difficult trek (my favourite part) which then led out to a beautiful cove where we got picked up by the boat. A perfect place for swimming after a difficult hike if it weren't for the crocodiles! I did not have a choice of which company to book with to go to Bako (other websites did not allow booking 1 pax), but it didn't matter in the end as the tour was fantastic and I would not hesitate to book again if I was in Kuching.

Review Body: Ooo Haa’s experience as a park ranger really made a difference. He knew where to look for the wildlife and was also familiar with the trees and fauna so we were able to appreciate the texture of the park in a short amount of time. My only regret is not having more time - on these types of tours you are mostly seeking the wildlife and learning about the more predominant plant life - and I would have liked to hike the trails and see the landscape of the park which looks to be so beautiful. I mentioned this to Ooh Haa and he was really great - he told me that if I came back the next day or was able to get a spot to stay in the park overnight that he would guide me through the trails. That was very cool of him. It’s very obvious that he is loves his work, the park and the land. Also I was not sure I’d like the local lunch but honestly it was really good!!!! I was impressed overall.

Review Body: Top experience with a really good guide Deng (I think his name was) who was very informative & able to locate animals before any other guides. Even walking from the jetty to the main building he listened, smelt and identified fresh footprints thst led to wild pigs,plus 2 vipers (sleeping fortunately). We did a 1.5km nature walk to a beach & back and it was during that walk where most of the monkeys were located. In all we saw probiscus monkeys, a family of long tailed macaques, 2 families of silver tailed monkeys,a flying lemur, lizard, so really fortunate . All arrangements worked well - hotel pickup & roof; boat trip, buffet lunch & admin adding me as a solo traveller last minute to an existing group. Definitely recommend!

Review Body: Bako National Park is a must see. You feel far away from the real world. The sounds of the forest are magical and we were lucky enough to see (even if a bit distant because at the top of the trees) 2 groups of proboscis monkeys. We then saw the wild pigs, very nice! We ate in the lunch area, delicious! The guide was very good and attentive to show us everything and look for the monkeys. The weather was nice, no rain and not even as muggy as described by the guide about the previous days. Highly recommended excursion! It was definitely worth it!

Review Body: We had such a great time on our day tour of Bako NP. Our guide was absolutely amazing - Mr. Malindo. He shared so much information about Bako, wildlife, the forest and Malay culture. We were lucky enough to see lots of wildlife - Proboscis Monkeys, Silver leaf monkeys, long tailed macaques, wild boar w babies, flying lemur!, monitor lizards, viper, a sea snake, different kinds of crabs, mudskippers, fish and our first stick insect! I highly recommend this tour. Lunch was very tasty too.

Review Body: Very knowledgeable and attentive guide who made sure our small group felt comfortable and safe at all times. He made sure we would see as much wildlife as possible (today was so hot the monkeys didn't want to show up!) and we got to see a flying lemur resting on his tree, some snakes, he explained about plants. Very nice :) it seems like it would have been worth spending the night. The landscape and hikes in themselves were very nice and well maintained.

Review Body: Loved this tour. We actually did a bit of serious hiking and had to take our shoes off as we landed on the beach. Really felt like I was in a different world. Our guide (wish I remembered his name) showed us all the good spots as well as the animals I wasn't even expecting to see. He was charismatic and had some interesting insight to share about society in Kuching. Highly recommend!

Review Body: It was a great trip, and everything was easy and well organised from booking to being dropped back at the hotel. Foo was an excellent guide, passionate and knowledgeable about animals and plants. He was persistent and sought out all the animals, even the shy monkeys. He was also a considerate guide on our hike, ensuring we never stumbled. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Review Body: Probably one of the most fun tours we’ve been on for this trip! The booking process was seamless, and the tour operator reached out a day before to confirm the pick-up time. We managed to see quite a few animals, from wild boars to the silvered leaf monkey! The terrain on the second trail hike is a little more difficult but so much fun! Highly recommend!

Review Body: Did the tour in May 2026 and absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to see Irrawaddy dolphins, proboscis monkeys and crocodiles! The guide and the boat captain were both extremely knowledgable about the animals and the territory, and also extremely friendly and welcoming! The tour, pick up and drop off were all well organised. Although we didn't see proboscis we did see the wild bearded pigs, flying lemurs, viper snake and 2 large groups of monkeys (silver-leaf monkey & long tailed macaques monkeys 🐒). A well organised trip from start to finish.

We saw so much wildlife including a green viper, bearded boars, proborscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys etc. The food was yummy and transport was uncomplicated. We stayed a bit out of town so we had to pay an additional fee for pick up, just something to keep in mind.

Review Body: On the day of the tour, it was raining heavily on the way to Bako National Park, so I was worried, but it was fine during the tour. We were able to see all five kinds of monkeys. We also saw a beautiful green snake and a bearded boar. Insect repellent and a raincoat are essential.

Return to Boat for Transfer Back Retrace your journey back to the boat for transfer to Bako Village. Head back to Kuching, with the tour ending upon arrival at your hotel.
