Rare 3D2N Komodo route on a spacious new phinisi with later pickup to skip crowd
If you want a 3D2N Komodo shared trip that combines a unique route with a gorgeous, newly launched phinisi experience, this is the one to book. While the boat can accommodate up to 22 guests, it is intentionally limited to just 18 guests to ensure a more spacious and comfortable experience. With just 6 cabins, every cabin has its own ensuite bathroom. Hand-built in Ara, South Sulawesi, the boat offers plenty of space to relax, including a rooftop lounge, sea-view indoor dining room, stand-up paddleboard, and documentation during the trip is included.Pickup is intentionally later than most trips, at 11:00–11:30am. This unique timing is what makes the itinerary special, allowing you to enjoy rare 3D2N open trip stops like sunset at Gili Lawa, a scenic hilltop savannah viewpoint famous for breathtaking over Komodo’s turquoise islands, which is usually a private 4D3N highlight, and Waelilu Sand Bank, a hidden sandbar with crystal-clear waters, perfect for a quiet beach escape and photos that most standard itineraries leave out.It also includes two stops for swimming with manta ray, you will visit both Manta Point and Mawan Island instead of relying on just one site. Mawan is more often known as a dive spot than a usual open-trip snorkel stop, so visiting both gives you a broader look at one of Komodo’s best manta areas. You still cover the big Komodo sights, just on a less typical route. There is Padar at sunrise, Pink Beach, a ranger-led trek in Komodo Village (a less common stop compared to the usual Komodo Island and Rinca Island routes), where you’ll explore the natural habitat of the legendary Komodo dragons with certified local rangers and discover how villagers live alongside them. What to ExpectSail on a gorgeous, newly build Phinisi in Komodo National ParkRare 3D2N itinerary — thoughtfully created to avoid crowds, with hidden stopsThe later departure at 11.00 - 11.30 AM to avoids the typical morning boat crowdsEnjoy sunset at remote Gili Lawa, famous for its rolling savannah hills and panoramic views—a rare stop on a 3D2N shared trip, usually reserved for private 4D3N itineraries.Stop at the hidden Waelilu Sand Bank, a peaceful escape with powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, rarely included on standard itineraries.Visit two manta hotspots—Manta Point and Mawan Island—for more chances to encounter these graceful creatures. Mawan Island is usually reserved for diving trips, making it a rare addition to a shared 3D2N itinerary.Explore Komodo Village with certified rangers, where you'll see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat and discover how villagers live alongside themOther highlight stops include Taka Makassar, Padar Island, Pink Beach, sunset flying fox watching, and Sebayur IslandHotel or airport pick-up and drop-off includedDaily meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and a welcome drink on arrivalSnorkeling gear, certified life jackets, guide, bath towels, and beach towelsPhoto and video documentation includedCabin stay onboard with air-conditioning and wifiKomodo New UpdatesThe Komodo National Park Authority has issued new regulations which require visitors to preregister and pay for their park fees in advance in order to secure their entry, previously park fees were collected directly from customers on the day of the trip. As a result we have included the national park fee of IDR 650,000 per person in the listing price. Please note that park fees are subject to change based on decisions made by the National Park management. If there is any adjustment to the park fee in the future, you may be required to pay the difference in cash on-site.Please note: No fuel surcharge currently applies. Adel first visited Komodo in the early 2010s and immediately fell in love with its rich marine life. As a passionate diver, she saw an opportunity to build a life and business close to some of the world’s best dive spots. A few years later, she invited her sister Erli to join her, and together they’ve been growing the company with care and purpose. Each new boat they've built is named in memory of their late father, reflecting the deep family values that guide their work and their commitment to meaningful, authentic travel experiences.
