Review Body: The diving and snorkeling safari in Komodo National Park on the Moana was a truly fantastic experience. The crew radiated not only friendliness but also competence in their work (whether dive guide, cook, or Mario, the CD, who oversaw everything). The Moana is a very well-equipped, though not brand new, vessel, lovingly maintained and designed with meticulous attention to detail. With her and the entire crew, we were able to see and experience more while snorkeling than ever before. We had never seen so many sea turtles, manta rays, sharks (including baby sharks at the reef edge while we were "stranded" on an island), and natural coral reefs teeming with marine life. The snorkeling guide sometimes gave us individual attention in the ocean, literally taking me by the hand to navigate the currents. We also saw the monitor lizards, of course. Everyone could express their wishes, and we never experienced anything being impossible – taking into account all the guests and the weather, of course. Thank you to the crew for this unforgettable experience!

Review Body: was my second time on Moana. So clearly I like it there. Why: a wonderful way to switch off for a few days and disconnect from a world of ever faster information. Great food, really nice crew, landscape is great to wake up to. Twice I have met a very pleasant group of fellow travellers. The constant light breeze on the boat make the temperatures feel perfectly fine. And yes the diving is also great! I can recommend a trip to anyone who wants to get off the bus for a week and remember that life is actually that thing that happens while you are running around chasing things. Thank you Mario, Stefan and crew for creating this wonderful space!

Review Body: It was such a great experience. The rooms are very nice and cozy. You immediately feel at home on the Moana. The crew is very friendly and attentive. Great for switching off while being surrounded by such beautiful nature. The underwater world is breathtaking, and I have never seen anything like it before. The crew always had tasty meals prepared for us, and the variety was great. The number of guests on the ship is perfect and very pleasant, a great opportunity to make new friends. I very much hope to be able to set sail with the Moana again. I can only recommend it. A big thank you to the whole team, and I hope to see you soon.🫶🏻⛵️

Review Body: Absolute recommendation!! The trip is perfectly organized and it is a dream experience on a beautiful boat. Equipment and crew are great. This is where many years of experience meet passion. The fact that the flora and fauna in Komodo National Park are breathtaking also helps, of course. Recommended. Absolute feel-good experience - friendly, competent, perfect. Dives were great - underwater world is amazing, dive guide great. One trip, many experiences.

Itinerary Day 1
Itinerary Summary: Pickup – boat briefing & cruise – check dive - night dive
Itinerary Description: We will pick you up from the airport depends on your arrival time (before 10.30 AM) or from hotel in Labuan Bajo at 10-10.30 AM 11.00 AM: Board the boat, followed by a welcome briefing, boat orientation, crew introduction, safety orientation, and dive gear setup Sail towards the island of Sebayur Kecil 12.30 PM: Estimated lunch time After lunch we will do our check dive where you and guides can get used to each other. 06.30 PM: We are planning a night dive after the sunset The boat will usually anchor at Sebayur or Siaba Besar for the night — both offering calm bays, beautiful reefs, and excellent night dives. Sebayur is known for its vibrant coral gardens, while Siaba Besar is famous for its frequent turtle sightings. A gentle and sheltered site, perfect for a check dive and getting comfortable with your equipment. Expect healthy coral reefs with reef fish, nudibranchs, moray eels, and occasional turtles. 07.30 PM: Dinner onboard Important note: The itinerary and dive sites shown are for reference only. Itinerary Summary: Diving at Tatawa Besar, Manta Point and Sunset Hike at Padar
Itinerary Description: 06.00 AM: Morning wake-up call & light breakfast 07.15 AM: Get ready for Day 2's first dive at Tatawa Besar, a beautiful drift dive known for its colorful coral reefs and lively marine life. Expect schools of fusiliers and sweetlips, reef sharks, turtles, giant trevallies, and plenty of reef fish cruising through the currents. The site is also famous for its healthy soft corals and excellent visibility, making it one of Komodo’s most enjoyable drift dives. 09.00 AM: Breakfast onboard After breakfast we will head towards the center of the park and visit more drift dives After lunch we will dive at Manta Point for a close encounter with those gentle giants We often head south to Padar for the third dive. If night dives aren’t your thing, we highly recommend a sunset hike up the hill for breathtaking views. The southern side of Padar offers spectacular dive sites, though conditions there can sometimes be more suitable for advanced divers. 07.30 PM: Dinner onboard Important note: The itinerary and dive sites shown are for reference only. Itinerary Summary: Komodo diving at Batu Bolong, manta sightings, dive at Gili Lawa, sunset beach relax
Itinerary Description: 06.00 AM: Morning wake-up call & light breakfast 07.15 AM: Get ready for Day 3's first dive at the world famous Batu Bolong. The center of the Komodo National Park offer more diverse dive sites. Starting with the world famous Batu Bolong. This underwater pinnacle is surrounded by the main channel that brings constantly fresh nutrients to the coral and marine life. The pinnacle is home to an amazing ecosystem of healthy corals, a vast amount of fish of all kinds, stunning rock formations and even Mantas, Dolphines can be regular visitors. 09.00 AM: Breakfast onboard After breakfast, we head further north, passing another manta point at Makassar Reef before arriving in the stunning Gili Lawa Darat & Gili Lawa Laut area. This region is known for its crystal-clear waters, healthy coral reefs, and exciting channel dives where you may encounter reef sharks, giant trevallies, turtles, schools of fusiliers, and occasionally manta rays cruising through the currents. In the afternoon, we usually unwind on a beautiful beach, enjoying sunset views with chilled drinks and snacks surrounded by Komodo’s dramatic island scenery. Itinerary Summary: Dive at Batu Bolong, Crystal or Castle Rock, see Komodo Dragon, island night dives
Itinerary Description: 06.00 AM: Morning wake-up call & light breakfast 07.15 AM: Get ready for Day 3's first dive at the world famous Batu Bolong. Widely regarded as one of the best dive sites in Komodo. This pinnacle is teeming with life from top to bottom — expect massive schools of fish, reef sharks, giant trevallies, and occasionally turtles and napoleon wrasse. 09.00 AM: Breakfast onboard Another highlight starting very often with one of the most famous dives at Crystal or Castle Rock - or both! These underwater pinnacles are yet a place hard to describe but simply mind-blowingly beautiful. Usually known for many reef shark encounters and an underwater aquarium that leaves you in tears of joy. In the afternoon, we head to Rinca Island. The area also offers excellent opportunities for night dives and overnight anchorage. Important note: The itinerary and dive sites shown are for reference only. There is yet another great muck site at Wainilu island or we head to a really great Wall dive, yet again another type of dive site that Komodo offers. And for the afternoon we stay in the park and if you want for the last night we get the party started! Important note: The itinerary and dive sites shown are for reference only. Meet your host

Meet Stefan Campo and Tanja Campo. Originally from Germany, they met in Bali while working in the diving world, and their passion for the ocean quickly became their way of life. They took over the boat in 2014 and poured their care into rebuilding the cabins and creating a relaxed, personal experience for guests. Together with their children, Noah and Lina, they love sharing this adventure as a family. They are dedicated to protecting the environment and supporting local communities by working closely with local staff and reducing their footprint wherever possible. What makes the experience even more special is their loyal crew and dive guides, many of whom have been with them since day one, with over 8–13 years of experience onboard. Their long-standing teamwork creates a warm atmosphere, smooth operations, and a deep knowledge of Komodo’s waters that guests truly appreciate. Stefan and Tanja genuinely enjoy connecting with guests from around the world, always aiming to share the beauty of Indonesia’s waters in a responsible and meaningful way.
