Review Body: An amazing 4D/3N liveaboard experience. The boat was stunning, with spacious comfortable rooms and private bathrooms, and the food was fresh and delicious throughout the trip. The fried banana snacks and pandan cake were so good!! The dive masters (Archipielago Dive Reserve) were experienced and knew exactly when to visit each site to avoid crowds and dive in the best conditions, with great awareness of currents and timing. The dive sites were absolutely breathtaking and the land excursions were good too. One of the standout parts of the trip was that they organised a beach clean-up at Pink Beach… a thoughtful way to give back to nature and show their genuine commitment to protecting the beautiful marine environment we were there to enjoy. The hosts/owners and all staff were incredibly welcoming and made the whole trip a great experience. A truly five-star experience, highly recommend.

Review Body: I had an amazing trip with Rian, Dela, Berno, and the whole crew! The diving was so so beautiful, and though I was a little nervous about the currents my DM Berno made me feel super comfortable on all of the dives. Rian did an amazing job planning the schedule of our dives so that we got to dive many of the very popular dives sites like Botu Bolong and Castle Rock without any other groups/boats. The food was also so so good, and the boat is very comfortable. Thanks so much!

The crew went to every effort to ensure we were at each location at the perfect time to avoid crowds. Very ethical and responsible - no baiting, touching or chasing the marine life. Just peaceful observing. The food is great and the boat is beautiful with comfortable rooms. Thanks so much for our best ever holiday.

Review Body: I joined as a non-diver and honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. Rian and Dela were always checking in, explaining what was happening, and making sure everyone was comfortable. Emon, our snorkeling guide, was amazing—so patient and knowledgeable. After this trip, I’m already planning to return as a diver.

Review Body: Even though I wasn’t diving, Rian and Dela made the whole trip feel so welcoming and fun. Watching how professional the dive team was—and how calm everything ran—made me realize I definitely want to come back for a diving trip. Huge thanks also to Emon, who guided the snorkeling and made it such a great experience.

World-class diving, great food and a crew that puts safety and the ocean first
Komodo has some of the best diving in the world, but its strong currents also mean who you dive with really matters. If you want to experience the big-name sites here while feeling properly looked after — and you care about seeing marine life responsibly — this 4D3N liveaboard is one of the trips we'd pick.Over four days, you'll do up to 11 dives across Central and Northern Komodo, including legendary sites like Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and Shotgun. Expect manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, huge schools of fish and some seriously exhilarating drift dives. What guests consistently love though is the crew. Komodo's currents can be intimidating, even for experienced divers, and the dive team are known for being calm, professional and extremely thoughtful about timing. They plan each dive around the day's currents and conditions, and make a real effort to get you onto popular sites when they're quieter. Guests who arrived nervous about the currents have said they felt completely comfortable in the water with their divemasters. We also really like the way this team approaches wildlife. There's no baiting, touching or chasing marine life — you're there to quietly observe it. You'll also take part in an underwater or beach clean-up during the trip, and 1% of the trip price goes towards community initiatives, including free Open Water dive courses for local children. It feels like a team that genuinely cares about leaving Komodo better than they found it, rather than adding a sustainability line to the itinerary. And after a day of diving, this is a very lovely boat to come home to. The traditional phinisi carries just 12 divers, with spacious ensuite cabins, large sun decks and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food gets almost as much love in the reviews as the diving — fresh, generous meals throughout the trip, plus very popular fried banana snacks and pandan cake between dives! There's even karaoke at night if your group is up for it.You'll also get off the boat to experience the Komodo classics: hike Padar Island, see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat and visit Pink Beach. And because there's a dedicated underwater photographer joining the trip, you'll come home with photos of the dives rather than having to spend every manta encounter looking through your own camera. If you're looking for the cheapest way to dive Komodo, this probably isn't it. But if you want a small-group trip where the diving, safety, wildlife ethics, food and life onboard are all taken seriously, this is a really special way to experience Komodo. What to ExpectUp to 11 dives over four days across Central and Northern KomodoDive famous sites including Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Mawan, Turtle City, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and ShotgunA mix of coral gardens, walls, seamounts and current-driven drift divesChances to see manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, trevallies, barracudas, tuna and large schools of reef fishA night dive to see how the reef changes after darkExperienced divemasters who plan dives carefully around currents, weather and crowd levelsResponsible wildlife encounters with no baiting, touching or chasingPadar Island, Pink Beach and Komodo dragon excursions on landUnderwater or beach clean-ups during the tripDedicated underwater photographer capturing marine life and group momentsSmall-group liveaboard with a maximum of 12 diversFull-board meals, snacks and plenty of space to relax between divesDive Sites & Marine Life HighlightsCentral Komodo offers vibrant reefs, rich biodiversity, and a mix of relaxed and current-driven dives.Key dive sites include:Turtle City - Known for frequent green and hawksbill turtle encounters, healthy coral gardens, and abundant reef fish. Often used as a warm-up or relaxed dive.Batu Bolong - One of Komodo’s most famous dive sites. Expect strong currents, colourful coral walls, and dense marine life including reef sharks, trevallies, napoleon wrasse, and large schooling fish.Manta Point - A renowned manta ray cleaning station. Divers often encounter manta rays gliding overhead, along with rays and schooling reef fish.Mawan – A vibrant reef and manta cleaning site, often quieter than Manta Point, with chances to see manta rays, reef sharks, and rich coral formations.Northern Komodo (Dry Season: April–November)Northern Komodo dive sites are accessed during the dry season when conditions allow and are known for adrenaline-filled dives and pelagic action.Key dive sites include:Cauldron / Shotgun - A thrilling drift dive through a narrow channel with strong currents. Expect high fish action, including reef sharks, giant trevallies, groupers, barracudas, and hunting tuna.Crystal Rock - A submerged pinnacle famous for clear visibility, challenging currents, and massive schools of pelagic fish circling the reef.Castle Rock - A current-swept seamount offering some of Komodo’s best big-fish encounters, including grey reef sharks, barracudas, trevallies, and tunas. At high-current sites, divers may experience short but intense action zones (approx 15–20 mins) where pelagic fish hunt schooling reef fish.Good to KnowThe itinerary shown is a sample and may change due to tides, currents, and weather conditions to ensure everyone’s safety.
