Summit Mt Fansipan in 1 day with local Hmong guide - an unforgettable experience!
You will climb Mount Fansipan (or Phan Xi Păng in Vietnamese) which is the highest mountain in Indochina, in one day. This climb will take you to the summit via the Tram Ton Pass, with Khai or one of his team members, who are all local guides from the H'mong community. As this is a private trip, the timings and itinerary are flexible so you can opt for an earlier summit or a more meandering trek back. Khai and his team of guides are really experienced and very patient. They will provide you with support and make sure to pace you appropriately for your skill level. They always make sure to pack a yummy lunch and whenever possible even cook a meal at a campsite so that you can enjoy a hot pho right on the trail to the summit! Additional Info on Mt Fansipan ClimbYou should be an intermediate level climber for Mt Fansipan. The path here is not well maintained, and there are boulders and ladders so it's very much an adventure! The climb starts at 1,800m and goes up to 3,147m. It takes 6-7 hours each way to climb. If you don't want to hike the entire way, you can choose to hike up Mt Fansipan and take a cable car down (choose cable car ticket for your add-on)

Are we able to opt for an earlier summit so that we can catch the sunrise?
J, 12 Mar 2024
Hi J, Yes, that's possible. Just make sure to mention it in the note when you make the booking.
Hi, I notice the cable car is closed till 8 Feb 24. We plan to do this hike on 28th Jan 24, are there other options to take a car down instead of hiking down?
Jasmin, 20 Jan 2024
Hi Jasmin, The only available option is to hike down by yourself as the cable car is not available.
If we book on 25th march , in case rain on that day, can we last minute cancel the booking?

Hi there, if we hike up to the Fansipan Peak and cable car is not available during that time, is there other WAY to descend down from the peak other than walking down? Thanks!
