Review Body: My four friends and I attended the diarama lamp workshop as part of a bridal shower programme. We had a great time, even for those of us who were not much into plants and craft. Firstly, this is not your typical terrarium workshop (which many corporates like to do). The workshop is held in a cosy studio with warm mood lighting and relaxing background music — good vibes for a special occasion! Secondly, you get to work with premium materials, many of which are imported or handmade. Thirdly, in addition to an insightful intro presentation by the host, each of us were closely guided along during the hands-on process. And most importantly, all of us walked away with a diorama lamp that we were really pleased with. Mine is now sitting on my piano in my living room and I think it enhances the space. Finally a workshop product that I’ll actually keep and happily use/display! The hosts, Joachim and Heidi, were really knowledgeable about their products and were able to engage participants who had no experience or prior interest in the field. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an interesting and non-conventional group activity, or for couples who are looking to create something meaningful together!

Review Body: I booked a diorama lamp-making session, and it turned out to be such a meaningful and enriching experience. We learned so much about preserved moss - both the process and the possibilities of what can be created with it. The workshop itself was really enjoyable and therapeutic. We had the freedom to choose our own waterscape, rocks, and figurines, and bring everything together into a personalised lamp, all with thoughtful guidance from Joachim. He was patient, encouraging, and clearly very passionate about what he does - never rushing us and always reminding us to take our time, knowing that art is a process. Earlier that day, the trainer reached out to check if it was a birthday activity. At the end of the session, he surprised us with a muffin and candle to celebrate my sister’s birthday, making the experience even more special and memorable. Just wanted to say a big thank you once again - he’s truly one of the sweetest and most dedicated trainers I’ve ever met.

Review Body: Attended a lamp terrarium workshop at The Mossiah and it was a really nice experience. The workshop started with a simple explanation of how terrarium making works, before we got to design and build our own from scratch. There were quite a lot of materials provided, so it was fun to choose what to use and put everything together. Our trainer, Joachim, was engaging and helpful throughout the session. He also went around to guide participants one-to-one, giving suggestions on how to improve the design and how to plant the materials properly. We also mentioned beforehand that we were celebrating a birthday, and the hosts surprised us with a cupcake during the workshop. That was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable workshop. Would recommend it if you’re looking for something hands-on and creative.

Review Body: I thoroughly enjoyed the session together with my girlfriend at the workshop with trainer Joachim, who was very patient throughout the workshop, giving his full attention and time to us as well as the other three participants. He was very open to letting participants freely explore their own ideas and was generous with his suggestions on how we could improve our setup. He was also always ready to lend a helping hand, while not forgetting that he wanted the participants to use their own hands to complete the artwork. It was certainly a very artistic experience and made my partner’s day totally enjoyable. It is definitely two hands up from me, and I highly recommend signing up. We will return to learn more about what Mossiah has to offer.

Review Body: The Diorama Lamp with Preserved Moss workshop was brilliant fun. Heidi was such a friendly and enthusiastic guide, talking us through the techniques and giving us plenty of inspiration before we got stuck in. It was great fun playing around with the different rocks, mosses, gravel and figurines to create our own little scenes, and the studio itself is a lovely, relaxing space with loads of Mossiah artwork to admire. Taking home the diorama lamp and seeing it lighting up a room tops it all off. To top it all off, they even surprised my girlfriend with a little birthday cake at the end, which was such a thoughtful touch. A really fun, creative experience and definitely something a bit different!

Review Body: This is one of the coolest workshop I’ve attended and it’s been nothing less than amazing. Loved that the session not only allowed me to bring home a beautiful piece of artwork, I also learnt a lot during the interaction where the host shared about preserved plants processing, what’s the difference between the types of mosses used and lots of tips. The material used are also good quality imported from different parts of the world. So..Just sit back, relax, and start building your miniature world, if guidance is needed - host is super patient so no worry at all! Highly recommended to try out this experience with friends or anyone you want to have a memorable time with :)

His experience really shone through, and he took the time to give us individual guidance, which made the whole workshop feel very personal and well-supported. Review Body: We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the most fun & therapeutic time! We were lucky to have Joachim guide us, who was so friendly and knowledgeable, sharing with us the different processes of moss preservation and helping us along the way when we needed. He also emphasized ‘not to rush art’, so that made the class more enjoyable as well ☺️. The relaxing space, intimate class size and generous amount of materials provided made it extremely worth it and you get to take home a beautiful lamp-scape afterwards. Review Body: I brought my wife to do a miniature diorama lamp using preserved moss. The atmosphere was lovely, the space was done up really nice to make you feel comfortable and zen when you’re crafting your miniature work. Excellent experience with Joakim and Ze Ming they were very friendly and helpful with all our queries. They even took photos for us and animated a video of our characters in our diorama. They were also nice enough to prepare a small muffin with a birthday candle for my wife . All in all an excellent experience for us to escape our everyday life for a bit. 100% would recommend

Jo is an excellent trainer who explains every step clearly, making it easy to follow even for beginners. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his craft, and you can tell he has a wealth of experience in the industry. We have a great experience with the mossiah, trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. Also, there is just enough guidance for designing the terrarium while not limiting our artistic freedom. Also loved the quick info sharing of how The Mossiah came to be and what they do and also how all the materials were procured. A tip for future guests is to not wear white since its very hands on but apron is provided thou!
