Review Body: I went into this tea omakase a little skeptical, but it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. I attended with my daughter, and it ended up being a really meaningful bonding experience for us. Genuinely engaging in a way that’s hard to come by these days. Cheryl is a wonderful host. She’s warm, knowledgeable, and makes the whole session feel very natural rather than “workshop-like.” The teas were thoughtfully selected based on what we shared, and each one came with stories that made the experience feel personal and special. Some teas felt familiar, others were completely new, but none felt intimidating. The setting was cosy, the pace was relaxed, and the food pairings were unexpectedly interesting! You can tell a lot of heart goes into what Cheryl does. If you’re on the fence like I was, go. It’s worth it, especially if you’re looking for something different to share with someone you love and more so if you love teas.

Review Body: An experience that will forever glow softly in our hearts. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like we had crossed the threshold into something rare and tender. Cheryl was an extraordinary host, graceful, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable. Each tea she served came with a story, each flavour note unfolding like a quiet secret. You could taste not just the leaves, but the landscapes they came from. My favourite moments were when she gently carried us down memory lane, recounting the places she had travelled to gather the tea leaves herself. Through her words, misty mountains rose before us, sunlit fields shimmered, and distant villages felt only an arm’s reach away. By the end of it all, we felt as though we had been welcomed into Tinker Bell’s home, as if pixie dust had settled on our shoulders and, for a fleeting, magical moment, we had learned how to fly.

Review Body: I booked this activity as part of a friend’s birthday celebrations and didn’t quite know what to expect, but it exceeded all expectations! From our conversations, Cheryl was able to plan a course of 5 very different teas for us, and offered thoughtfully curated snacks to pair with the teas. She was very generous in sharing (both with regard to her carefully sourced teas, and her knowledge on teas and teaware), and her passion for teas really shone through. Cheryl was also great at keeping the conversations flowing in a very natural manner, so what resulted was a really chill and comfortable session where we were able to slow down our pace, be in the moment and relax over some great teas and conversations. Would definitely recommend this activity for a refreshing and wholesome experience!

Review Body: Cheryl, the business owner, always took the time to explain her sourcing process and the tasting notes for each tea, and it was clear that everything had been thoughtfully curated for a very holistic tea tasting session that would account for various flavour profiles. Each tea serving also came with very unexpected, unique food pairings that you would not expect to see at a traditional Chinese teahouse, but somehow they complemented the tea perfectly. Think beer-battered hotteoke, Vietnamese-style 'tsukemen' (this included a very aromatic and flavourful sauce for dipping the noodles in), etc etc. I don't think I've seen such dishes anywhere else in Singapore! Would definitely love to drop by again!

Review Body: I had a truly wonderful experience at Tea The Gathering. The host had a deep and intimate knowledge of tea, offering a wide selection with rich, authentic flavours. Throughout the Tea Omakase session, each recommendation was accompanied with thoughtful explanations about the tea’s origins, processing methods and flavour profile, making the experience feel both personal and educational. The food pairings were equally well considered, and enhanced the flavours of the teas. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good tea and a peaceful ambience.

Review Body: For anyone looking to slow down and experience tea on a whole new level. We went as a group and the whole session was super cozy and intimate. Our host was just fantastic—knowledgeable and so happy to share the stories behind every brew. She curated an omakase menu where we tried teas from familiar favorites to wild new flavors we never would have picked out ourselves, and every single food pairing was spot on. Truly beyond what we had expected!
