Review Body: The staff are amazing! It was my partners birthday and they organised an sunset boat trip and it was amazing and good value with just us on the boat! we saw the Mekong at sunset, a fruit farm where we were served fresh fruit, then back on the river at night where we saw fire flies and ate birthday cake and drank beers! The guys organised it all and This made my partners birthday really special! So can’t thank them enough! The rooms were clean and comfortable and were on the front of the Mekong! The social area always had a good atmosphere and what made it awesome was the pups! The food was also good value and tasty! They also arrange tours which are good value and very informative - we did morning Mekong floating market! I would highly recommend! They also helped with buses and taxis! Thanks for a short but amazing stay!!

Review Body: Lodge is situated on the river bank, on other side of the river is Cat Tien national park. Bungalows are located in simple tropical garden and very simple but at the same time at this location it fits with the nature more than any 5 stars hotel. Location is 8 min to walk to boat ferry to national park. Staff and especially host Luan were briliant. Luan has helped us to fill up our days with guided tours and I could say that he organise everything perfect. National park is amazing. We stay here 3 nights but we would like tostay here at least double time. Thank you Luan for nice time!!!

Review Body: This is such a cute lodge near the entrance to Cat Tien National Park! Our room was very spacious with large beds, and there are lovely outdoor patios overlooking the river that are great at night. The food was also good, especially when there was a set dinner menu. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful - recommending many interesting activities in the area. If you get the chance, take the wildlife watching boat trip on the river (at sunrise or sunset)! The guide was amazing and we saw so many creatures (2 kinds of monkeys, kingfishers, herons, and more!)

Review Body: With the Dong Nai river runs by its side, and the smell of ripe pomelos and their flowers in its beautiful fruity leafy garden, this place will bring you peace and relaxation when you need it most. Very friendly, helpful staff, also wonderful cook! They will make you feel like home the instant you arrive with their lovely smile and a glass of passion fruit juice. They will also nurture your body with delicious homemade dishes (ingredients are straight from their garden or their neighbors’). Highly recommend!

Review Body: The lodge is located direct to the river. The stuff is very helpful and manged our pickup from the main road (QL 20), about 20 kms from Cat Tien. The owner, Luan, answers all Emails immediately and organizes tours to the nearby NP. It's a quiet and peaceful.place. You can sit for hours onbthe balkonies or lay in the hammocks overlooking the river. We should have stayed longer than just one night. With all the offered tours, Green Hope Lodge would be a good joice for three or four days.

Review Body: Luan was great, really helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and they run a set meal of four dishes for 90k dong that changes every night. Right next to the river they have hammocks you can chill in whilst reading and listening to the sounds of the rainforest. I think I heard gibbons singing in the early morning as Gibbon Island is the otherside of the river. I shared my room with a colony of ants during the day but what do you expect being next to a rainforest and all..

Review Body: The lodge is owned by a family and the son does speak really well English. He has been super friendly and organized. He even delivered breakfast directly into the parc. He has booked everything for us. Even before we got there he made sure a taxi picks us up from the station. The family got over an hour earlier up to make us breakfast for our leave and brought us to the local bus station. He has been such a help and we felt very welcomed. Would definitely stay there again.

Review Body: Luan is a fantastic host. He really looks after the guests and arranged trips really well. He ferried us down to the river and brought us breakfast. The whole family are delightful and the food was fantastic value. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Unlike some people we met from a lodge in the park we had water and air in when we wanted it. Don’t spend money on staying in the park outside is far better value. It was fantastic value for money

Review Body: We came to Green Lodge for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very basic but are clean and comfortable. There is a lovely view of the river from the deck a short walk away from the room and it is a very relaxing place to be. The staff are friendly and the host went out of his way to help us and give us any information we may need. We also really enjoyed the dinners they offered and there's a good variety of options for vegetarians.

Review Body: The staff is extremely friendly and interacted with us in English and in French. The rooms were extremely clean and The room had an amazing view of the river and the forest. The breakfast was very good and the staff helped us with everything, from managing our transportation from HCMC and back to booking our Tours in Cat Tien. The value for money is extremely high!! Will highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely come back :)

I like everything: the room and the bed, great location and surrounding, very friendly and helpful stuff, super good internet (cause I need it for work), great breakfast, animals on the spot and the price is sooooo nice! I'd really like to stay there longer, nice runaway from the hectic city! A little bit expensive food, but it covers by the room price for sure!!

Review Body: A peaceful oasis! Super friendly family run accomodation. All the meals at the accomodation were delicious. Luan books all the tours/excursions for you and is really helpful. We can't fault it, would recommend 100%. Do the the birdwatching evening if you get the chance - the guide is brilliant! We booked 2 nights originally but then extended this.

Review Body: Amazing location, beautiful Riverview room and amazing staff. Dinner was provided at a very reasonable price, and you get a lot of delicious home cooked dishes. Staff were extremely helpful organising our taxi from our bus stop (bus came from Vung Tau). Recommend staying here! Very close to the ferry into Cat Tien NP.

So many beautiful fruit trees, including many guests are welcome to pick and eat! Also the restaurant had what we considered the best french fries in Vietnam (and we have lived here for many years).

Review Body:  This place is wonderful!! Set in a lush riverside setting. Our hosts were most helpful and friendly. Tours and transport were arranged for us. Our tour guides were informative, passionate and very humorous. The meals were basic but delicious and nutritious. We were in awe listening to gibbon song early each morning.

There was wide range of options for trekking, boating or watching animals in the national park. Furthermore, you could just walk around the village and enjoy the life here is such a great experience.

Review Body: Our hosts were great and helped us plan our stay and park visit very well. They even helped us for travel further south. It was exceptional to hear and see gibons from the property. The beds were very comfortable and you can enjoy all the jungle sounds directly from your bed!

Itinerary Description: 12:30pm - Enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch 2:00pm - Embark on an ecological trail with a local guide. Visit the 500-year-old Tung tree and follow a small forest trail to discover towering, centuries-old trees and diverse native flora. End the trek at the botanical garden and Heaven’s Rapids before returning to the lodge. 4:30pm - Hop on a boat tour along the Dong Nai River to catch the magnificent sunset and spot local wildlife along the river bank – look out for macaques, civets, and swimming snakes! 6:00pm - Return to the lodge and rest 7:00pm - Enjoy a hearty Vietnamese dinner at the lodge

Itinerary Day 2

Itinerary Summary: Dawn ferry and gibbon watch with forest wildlife spotting

Itinerary Description: 4:30am – Take the ferry across the river and meet your guide at the park headquarters. Continue to a forest listening post, where you can rest in a hammock and wait for the gibbons’ morning calls. As the forest awakens, keep an eye out for wildlife such as sambar deer, mouse deer, wild boar, black-shanked douc langurs, pig-tailed macaques, birds and other forest creatures. Once the gibbons begin singing, follow your guide deeper into the forest for a chance to observe them feeding, resting and moving through the trees. 7:30am – Return to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy some free time before checking out at noon.
