Review Body: Jo and Ken are very passionate about animals and thanks to their expertise we were able to see hornbill and and 2 gibbons, a white and a black one, and other animals:) they also find us the best angle to see the animals and to take pictures of them. Nice fruit snacks were also prepared for us:). Highly recommended!

Review Body: We just finished an amazing tour with Jo and Ken. It was nothing short of amazing and beyond our expectations. And it started with a bang: only a few minutes into the trip they had already spotted a gaggle of majestic Great Hornbills.
Jo and Ken were flexible, friendly, and above all you really feel like they listened to us (and our millions of questions about what we saw and did). We generally felt we were in the best of hands. One example was that they went out of their way to find some unique species based on our interests; where from our experience most other guides would have just stuck to their script.
They are also very knowledgeable and knew the name of most species which is really helpful. It makes the trip alot more meaningful. Having said that, they always remained humble and approaches nature with a sense of mutual learning.
On the park side I also find it necessary to share that we were really amazed how well kept it is and hopefully it can serve as a beacon of inspiration for many other parks to be established around the Region in the future.
Thanks Jo and Ken for making it truly an unforgettable day.

Review Body: FIVE STARS!! Jo and Ken are very knowledgable about the animals and environment in Khao Yai National Park. We enjoyed our tours (day and night) and saw a lot of animals. Ken took us on the day tour and was very aware of where to look for animals. He also was considerate of me being slow and not the most steady on my feet on the trails, but I was able to keep up and enjoyed it.

Review Body: Went on a Safari through Khao Yai National Park, our guide was Joe and she was super rad and knew her stuff. We saw monkeys, gibbons, deer, lizards, birds, and... ELEPHANTS! We did the full day tour and had an absolute blast. It was the highlight of our trip and would definitely suggest it to anyone debating on checking out the park.

Review Body: The night safari was a particular highlight with nightjars and porcupines. The guides were both excellent, with good English skills and comprehensive knowledge of the wildlife and where to find it. Special mention to guide Joanna who really makes an extra effort to make sure her customers are well looked after.

Review Body: Ken was our perfect guide and he was awsome.
We highly recommend a tour with him.
He is a careful driver, can explain everything about the animals and plants in English. Ken spotted animals even while driving. We took a 1,5 h walk through the Jungle and he showed us lots of animals.

Compact, calm, low-effort, Khao Yai night safari
While daytime tours can be hot and strenuous, exploring after dark offers a much more tranquil atmosphere and a completely different wildlife experience. Dusk is when Khao Yai’s active nocturnal ecosystem truly comes alive, giving you a unique opportunity to spot shy species that stay hidden during the day such as porcupines, nightjars, or even wild elephants emerging to feed at the salt licks. On top of that, the guide will take you to a short cruise before transferring to the national park's night jeep as daylight fades into dusk which is the period that rare birds are likely seen.Best of all, this is a rare opportunity to experience Khao Yai’s night safari without the noisy, crowded "shared-bus feel." Instead of joining a packed public truck, you’ll have your own dedicated English-speaking guide working side-by-side with the park’s official spotlight tracker. That means you get a private, flexible pace, plenty of time to ask questions, and a guide who can focus entirely on tracking the specific animals your group is most excited to see.It is the ideal choice for families, couples, and small groups who want a quieter, deeply personal way to explore UNESCO-listed Khao Yai National Park after dark. There is no food baiting and no artificial animal calls, so any porcupines, nightjars, deer or wild elephants you see are behaving naturally. It’s a more respectful way to experience Khao Yai’s nocturnal wildlife. What to Expect3 to 3.5-hour private evening safari, with pickup around 16:45 or 17:00 from hotels on the Pak Chong / Khao Yai sideOpen-air safari truck transfer to the park, then a switch to the regulated national park vehicle for the night driveYour own English-speaking guide plus an official park spotter using high-powered searchlightsSlow drive through the Thanarat route and old golf course zone as dusk turns to nightChance to look for porcupines, nightjars, deer, fox, wild elephants, and many more that the nature may surprise you.Includes Pak Chong area hotel transfers, national park fees, binoculars, snacks, drinking water.Good to KnowDinner is not includedTransfers outside the Pak Chong area or Khao Yai northern entrance can be arranged for an extra feeBring a long-sleeved shirt or light jacket, long trousers, insect repellent and any personal medicineThe night drive is open-air, so it can feel cool and breezy after darkTimings are approximate and may shift slightly depending on your hotel location and park conditionsWildlife is never baited or called in, so sightings vary from night to night and not guaranteed. Some weekends Khao Yai can be crowded. We recommend avoiding bookings during weekends if possible.

Joanna now leads this family-owned business, continuing a legacy rooted in Khao Yai since 1995. The journey began with her father, Mark, a dedicated gibbon researcher who spent years working inside Khao Yai National Park and came to know the forest intimately. Mark originally founded a small company to help visitors experience the area quietly, observe wildlife in its natural habitat, and truly understand the ecosystem rather than just pass through it. Today, Joana honors that exact same approach. Under her guidance, the focus remains entirely on peaceful, ethical time in nature, driven by a deep respect for Thailand’s wildlife and the natural habitats they call home.
