Review Body: We just finished an amazing tour with Jo and Ken. It was nothing short of amazing and beyond our expectations. And it started with a bang: only a few minutes into the trip they had already spotted a gaggle of majestic Great Hornbills.
Jo and Ken were flexible, friendly, and above all you really feel like they listened to us (and our millions of questions about what we saw and did). We generally felt we were in the best of hands. One example was that they went out of their way to find some unique species based on our interests; where from our experience most other guides would have just stuck to their script.
They are also very knowledgeable and knew the name of most species which is really helpful. It makes the trip alot more meaningful. Having said that, they always remained humble and approaches nature with a sense of mutual learning.
On the park side I also find it necessary to share that we were really amazed how well kept it is and hopefully it can serve as a beacon of inspiration for many other parks to be established around the Region in the future.
Thanks Jo and Ken for making it truly an unforgettable day.

Review Body: FIVE STARS!! Jo and Ken are very knowledgable about the animals and environment in Khao Yai National Park. We enjoyed our tours (day and night) and saw a lot of animals. Ken took us on the day tour and was very aware of where to look for animals. He also was considerate of me being slow and not the most steady on my feet on the trails, but I was able to keep up and enjoyed it.

Review Body: Went on a Safari through Khao Yai National Park, our guide was Joe and she was super rad and knew her stuff. We saw monkeys, gibbons, deer, lizards, birds, and... ELEPHANTS! We did the full day tour and had an absolute blast. It was the highlight of our trip and would definitely suggest it to anyone debating on checking out the park.

Review Body: The night safari was a particular highlight with nightjars and porcupines. The guides were both excellent, with good English skills and comprehensive knowledge of the wildlife and where to find it. Special mention to guide Joanna who really makes an extra effort to make sure her customers are well looked after.

We highly recommend a tour with him.
He is a careful driver, can explain everything about the animals and plants in English. Ken spotted animals even while driving. We took a 1,5 h walk through the Jungle and he showed us lots of animals.

Bring along a family of experts for your Khao Yai wildlife adventure
This family-owned wildlife safari was started in 1995 by a gibbon researcher who worked in Khao Yai National Park. Now, led by the founder's daughter, Joanna, this family owned business still runs with the same rule: no bait, no artificial bird calls, and no rushing. It’s a strong fit for wildlife lovers and families who want a more ethical, knowledgable and flexible way to explore the park from day into night.Because the tour is 100% private, the day moves at your group’s pace instead of a fixed schedule. You’ll drive slowly in an open-air safari truck, stop where animals are active, and trek 2km on a route known for wild gibbon sightings. The day also includes the scenic Haew Suwat waterfall and a late-afternoon search for elephants around grasslands and salt licks. If you choose our night safari add on, you'll switch to a dedicated national park vehicle at dusk. Your guide comes along with a park ranger to look for nocturnal wildlife in key zones like Thanarat and the old golf course area. While wild animal encounters are never guaranteed, the night safari offers an exciting opportunity to look for active nocturnal wildlife like porcupines, nightjars, and even a roaming wild elephant. If you have children (3-11 years old) in your group, please book only for adult guests and child guest add on to get child price. For instance, you group is 2 adults and 3 children, you will book as a group of 2 then add 3 units of child guest add on.What to ExpectPrivate full-day Khao Yai safari from around 8:30am to 8:00pm, including the night safariHotel pick-up and drop-off on the Pak Chong side in an open-air safari truck with a roofSlow wildlife spotting drive, viewpoint stops, and a 2 to 3km beginner-friendly jungle trekVisit to Haew Suwat waterfall and an evening search for elephants in grassland and salt lick areasOptional night safari in a dedicated national park vehicle with your guide and a park rangerIncludes park entrance fees, English-speaking guide, lunch, snacks, drinking water, anti-leech socks, and accident insuranceGood to KnowWildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Proper walking shoes or trekking shoes are importantBring long trousers, long sleeves, insect repellent, hat or cap, sunscreen, sunglasses, and any personal medicineThe tour is private, so pacing can be adjusted for families, children, and slower walkersBreakfast is not included. Meet your host
Joanna now leads this family-owned business, continuing a legacy rooted in Khao Yai since 1995. The journey began with her father, Mark, a dedicated gibbon researcher who spent years working inside Khao Yai National Park and came to know the forest intimately. Mark originally founded a small company to help visitors experience the area quietly, observe wildlife in its natural habitat, and truly understand the ecosystem rather than just pass through it. Today, Joana honors that exact same approach. Under her guidance, the focus remains entirely on peaceful, ethical time in nature, driven by a deep respect for Thailand’s wildlife and the natural habitats they call home.
