Review Body: We chose the morning slot on a Friday morning and it was really cooling and chill. Was taken to a kelong via a bumboat (the views of the sea and the wind was amazing), then took off on our Kayak to the mangroves. The double-seated kayaks took some time to get used to, but our guide Yan was knowledgeable and helpful. The way there and inside the mangroves felt like something you would see in a nature documentary. There were many interesting sights like monitor lizards, even a snake molt, fiddler crabs, mudskippers. We kayaked probably around 60 min and dropped off by a muddy shore and walked to Ubin town for a short tour. Thereafter we kayaked back to the kelong (40min) to make a Paracord which was fun and useful at the same time. The best part of our tour was the chat with our guide Yan. He was friendly, forthcoming and shared a lot of interesting insights about Ubin and Kelong. We never learnt so much about Kelongs before and it was very, very interesting. Yan also showed us Kelong fishes and picked out giant mussels from blue barrels under them. We've never known that mussels could be this big. Overall, highly recommended for a chill, nature-filled, insightful day out. However, take note that there is a small part you can get foot-deep into the mud when getting onto and out of the kayak.

Review Body: It’s our first time kayaking together. Good that it wasnt too long. Really liked the warmth n friendliness of the guide Dora n owner Skye. Gave us a good tour of the fish farm and told us lots of info n tidbits of knowledge. The paracord was a good exercise as well for the family. One thing i felt could be improved on is the sharing/story telling of the kayaking route with everyone. I was on the same boat as the guide so had the advantage of being able to speak to her n ask questions. But the other kayak did not have the privilege. So maybe could do more sharing on the route, wildlife, any interesting stories etc

Review Body: Really awesome team building experience. We booked this for a company event and had an amazing time - kayaking through the mangroves was a great experience and Iqin was a really friendly and knowledgeable host. Visiting the fish farm and learning about aquaculture was a truly unique experience which I think makes this different from other kayaking trips. And the paracord bracelet making session meant we all left with a cool souvenir. Highly recommended for small or large groups, or team building! Thank you so much, I'm sure some of us will be booking again with our friends!

Exploring hidden gems by kayak: Pulau Ubin and Frog Island
If you want more than a standard Pulau Ubin paddle, this 5-hour trip pairs mangrove kayaking with two stops most people miss: a visit to a local fish farm and a landing on little-known Frog Island. Instead of just paddling past the scenery, you get to learn how aquaculture works around Ubin and see the Pulai Tree, the tallest heritage tree on the island. It’s a good fit for curious first-timers, families, and team groups who want a manageable outdoor half-day with real local stories and hands-on learning. You’ll paddle in a double kayak with a certified coach, and the route can be adjusted to the group’s ability, so it works well even if it’s your first time kayaking. The fish farm visit is what makes this stand out most. It gives you a closer look at a working side of Ubin that many visitors never get to understand. After the kayak, there’s a paracord bracelet session, so you leave with a practical little skill and a handmade souvenir instead of just photos. With 2-way boat transfers and wash-up facilities included, it’s an easy half-day escape without much planning needed. What to Expect 5-hour join-in kayaking experience around Pulau Ubin Double kayak rental, safety equipment, and a certified kayaking coach Kayak through Ubin’s mangroves and coastal waters Visit a local fish farm and learn about aquaculture Land on Frog Island and see the Pulai Tree, the tallest heritage tree in Pulau Ubin Make a survival-style paracord bracelet after the paddle 2-way boat transfers and wash-up facilities included Good to Know Covered shoes are required for safety Bring a dry bag for your personal belongings Bring at least 1 litre of water Suitable for beginners; the pace can be adjusted to the group This is a join-in experience
