Review Body: I loved from the first touch that I got with the team their flexibility and openess, no matter how many questions I got haha. It was a bit hard for us since we were on a tight schedule, but they make it possible! We did rainbow village and the waterfall in the first day, Ijen mountain second day and Bromo mountain the last to be as close as possible to the airport(Surabaya). For those interested to come in this trip, there are also some sleeperbuses connecting Bali with Surabaya or Malang. Java is a muslim country so make sure to dress appropiate. Our driver, Rizky, was a very nice person, although he didnt know too much English, he took us to some amazing places to eat (ask for the Lava Hill Resort restaurant&cafe when you are at your accomodation to Bromo). You can rent your mountain jackets at Ijen and Bromo for the price of 30k IDR(1,50€) so dont carry it with you(if you can). They have scarfs and hats too if needed. For the waterfall prepare to get real wet so get a waterproof small bag to carry some napkins to wipe off the screens of the cameras. The guide received in there was very involved in making the photos and videos and he even did a nice memory video with us. Thank you! There are also some bathrooms where you can change your clothes after. You can rent water shoes too (20K IDR). Prepare small cash with you as you can eat and drink something after you re done with the waterfall. As for the accomodations they were very comfortable, except that the hotel where we stayed for our Ijen trip didnt had hot water which after you re doing a cold trip to the mountain was very much needed. The second accomodation had everything you needed, but heads up the walls are super thin so bring some earplugs to fall asleep easily and get ready for the early wake up. The breakfast was indonesian at the hotel. The second breakfast was omlette and fruits. Anyway, you can stop anytime and get to try more authentic snacks so for us was no problem. The nature that we saw in this trip is trully breathtaking and its worth all the sleeping time sacrificed! P.S.: if you have only hand luggage be aware that you will not be allowed to travel with the Ijen sulfur souvenirs 😅

Review Body: This was 3D2N trip to Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Ijen (in this order). Perfectly organized pick up from Surabaja, transfers between hotels and drop off to Malang; timely but with flexibility to give us as much time in case we needed it The driver spoke little English but tried his best also with Google Translate - enough for simple communication but do not count on a lot of conversation during the transfers. Tumpak Sewu - very nice guide speaking good English and willing to explain things. The waterfalls are gorgeous. You can also see the Goa waterfalls and cave if you ask the guide and buy additional ticket. It is in the same location and worth seeing, I think. Please remember you will have best fun if you get totally wet. Dress accordingly abd change your clothes afterwards 😀. Bromo - crowded at the sunrise viewpoint but everyone took the picture eventually :) , well maybe not everyone at the perfect moment. The hike after the sunrise also with amazing views. Ijen - great adventure. The hike to the crater and then down and up may be strenuous. Take your time to rest. The smell is not so bad as you have a mask but your eyes may be burning if the wind will bring dense smoke on you. This is not a big deal as you can easily move away from this by making just a few steps . You can get a torch if you do not have one (it is needed indeed). We were able to see the blue fires but we were lucky. The guide was English speaking and helpful. We were late to climb up from the crater to see the sunrise and our guide decided to wait for the sunrise down in the crater, very beautiful view on the lake down there also.

Review Body: We had an amazing experience hiking Mount Ijen, and a huge part of what made the trip so memorable was our guides, Johnny and Jay. From the very beginning, they made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and included. They took the time to remember all of our names and constantly checked in on us throughout the hike to make sure everyone was doing well. Their attentiveness and genuine care really stood out, especially during the more challenging parts of the hike. Beyond looking after us, Johnny and Jay were also incredibly friendly and made a real effort to ensure that everyone was having a good time. They even helped us take some great photos along the way, giving us wonderful memories to bring home. Guides like Johnny and Jay are what make an experience like this truly special. Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication made our Mount Ijen trip one that we will remember for a long time. We felt they absolutely deserved to be recognised and commended for the fantastic job they did. Also special mention to our driver, Pang, excellent service and driving throughout all 3 days with no delays.

Review Body: It was perfectly organized, you’re taken by the hand and driven through the activities by the english speaking guides (even though you’re with a non-english speaking driver for most of the trip). He new the minimum to help us out though. Hotels are fine, you don’t stay there for long anyway. Breakfasts at the hotels are meh. The only thing I really didn’t like -and it’s independent of the trip organiser- is that you shouldn’t underestimate how much driving this trip requires. Basically you wake up super early (at 1 am for ijen and 3 am for bromo) and then discover amazing stuff for a few hours and then drive a lot to the next place. Add to that the eventual traffic, and you can get stuck for up to 12 hours in a single day in a car - as we had to. So the ratio fun to driving really is against you. Again, not the fault of the organizer (the driver was really resilient and nice!), but to keep in mind. Apart from that the organiser brings a lot of peace of mind, everything is laid up before you and you don’t have to worry about anything. We appreciated the mind free, secure and comfy trip

Review Body: Our trip was very well planned, with enough spacing between events to make it both enjoyable and relaxing. The driver assigned to us was exceptionally friendly, punctual, and cheerful throughout. He not only kept us on schedule but also went out of his way to help us find great places to eat and made sure we were comfortable at every stop. The itinerary helped us make the most of our three days in Indonesia — we managed to see two volcanoes and one breathtaking waterfall without ever feeling rushed. The checkpoints and pacing ensured we had time to rest and recuperate between activities. At each of the tourist spots we visited, the local guides were wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and surprisingly talented photographers. They helped us capture some truly beautiful pictures and made sure we looked our best in every shot. Overall, I would highly recommend the itinerary and the agency. Every touchpoint — from the staff to the driver to the local guides — reflected friendliness, helpfulness, and genuine care for making sure we had a great time.

Review Body: Guides and drivers are excellent. Guides are amazing photographers and video editors. Itinerary well planned and customised to our flight schedules. Transition between each point was seamless. For the waterfall, you are going INSIDE the water (knee deep, optional chest deep) pls bring water shoes/crocs (do not recommend flip flops because they will easily get washed away). Also recommend to haggle directly for horse fees at bromo (our driver took a tip from our horse journey fee and thought we didn’t know. Someone got it for 150k, can consider). Mount Bromo and ijen will be super cold when u get off the car (layer up) but once u start hiking, will get really hot so remove your layers and bring a bag to contain your layers. We paid 50k each for ?health check for mt ijen, but we never got our healths checked or receive any cert or anything at all, so not sure what’s up there 😂 all in all still highly recommend, great experience at great value, effortless and brainless, just follow instructions, everything is arranged seamlessly for you

Review Body: We loved this adventure. Our drive Achmad (I think) was amazing throughout the trip, although he didn’t speak a lot of English he was attentive to all our needs and very helpful! He also always had a smile even though he must have been tired after all the driving. We first visited the waterfall but unfortunately for us it was pouring with rain and we could only see it for a couple of minutes, I’m sure on a nice day it would have been beautiful. The trip at Bromo was amazing, beautiful sunrise, looking into a live volcano was amazing and so noisy. My favourite part of the trip was Mount Ijen, our guide whose name sounded like Shirley was incredible. The walk up and into the crater was hard work but very doable (my son made it look easy). The blue flame was amazing! The sunrise and the blue lake in the crater was also very impressive. Our guide also made a little video for us of our trip, it nearly made me cry it was so cute.

Review Body: Overall, we had a great experience! Our driver, Adi, has really great driving skills and always made sure we got to the right tour guide before leaving us, which we really appreciated. We had a 3-day trip overall, and we really enjoyed our session with Min for our Sewu trip. He was very patient and kind, and guided us along the way really well. He also helped us take lots of photos and videos, which was really sweet of him 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿 Julian was also a very professional guide who shared lots of extra knowledge with us and guided us really well through the two different spots at bromo. We definitely learned a lot from him! And lastly, Ravi has really good language skills and made communication very easy throughout the trip. Overall, all the guides were friendly, professional, and helpful, and we really enjoyed our 3-day trip! Would definitely recommend them for anyone planning a trip here 😊

Review Body: From the booking process to the very end, communication with the local agent was incredibly fluid, clear, and efficient. They were highly responsive via WhatsApp; the planning was well-coordinated and easily adjusted whenever we requested changes to the timings. The drivers, guides, and everyone else we met were committed to providing the best service, always eager to help and do their best. We saw, did, and experienced all the activities listed without any surprises or issues. All the recommended restaurants were amazing ! Despite the early wake up time and all the driving, these 3D2Nights tour is a great deal to do these highlights. I highly recommend Boyo Tour & Travel. Thanks to Mr. Adhi and the entire Boyo Tour And Travel team!

Review Body: We had an amazing experience on the 3D2N East Java tour! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The host made sure to adapt the entire itinerary to fit our arrival and departure times, which we really appreciated. All the staff, including the local guides and our driver, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The guides were always smiling, took their time to explain everything, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The accommodations were also very well chosen and comfortable throughout the trip. We truly enjoyed the whole journey from A to Z. It was definitely a bit tiring at times, but absolutely worth it! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Indonesia.

Review Body: An AMAZING 3 days - sure, you don’t get much sleep but it was so incredibly worthwhile. I can’t recommend the trip enough. There’s a lot of hours in the car but it’s necessary to fit in 3 amazing sights in the short time. Our guide Tece was absolutely amazing, so helpful, a great driver, he made sure everything ran smoothly and to time - we didn’t have to worry about any of the arrangements as Tece sorted everything and we had WhatsApp updates from the company every day so we knew exactly what to expect. This trip really is an excellent way to see the sights of East Java, particularly if you are short on time.

Review Body: Huge thanks to Pak Budi for driving us throughout the tour! The Ijen hike right after Tumpak Sewu was tougher than expected, but reaching the top felt like such an achievement—even though two of us couldn’t catch the blue fire due to the crowd. The sunrise at Bromo was absolutely breathtaking and beyond words to describe, and though the climb up the stairs was tiring, the view made it all worth it. Overall, it was worth every penny spent on this tour, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Review Body: Great tour organization. All the drivers were ready for any request or need, as well as being very kind and helpful. The guides were also very kind and prepared. They are very smart and are familiar with the place you are visiting. The team is in contact with the coordinator every time and ready for any unforeseen events. They also helped us get ferry tickets and many other things (the driver stayed with us until we were on the boat). Super satisfied!

Review Body: We were a group of 6 and booked a 3D2N tour with Boyo Travel. Everything was very well organised, all of our requests and questions were answered before the tour started, the tour guides were really friendly and gave us the best experience at Tumpak Sewu, Mt Bromo, and Mt Ijen. The hotels were great as well. We were also very happy with transport during our trip. Our driver was very chill, brought us everywhere in time and had a luxurious car.

Review Body: The trip was wonderful. Our driver, Mr Riski, drives very safely (not risky at all!). He is very punctual and helpful. He even helped us to buy ferry tickets to bali. The local guides at the waterfall and ijen are considerate and they make wonderful pictures and videos. The homestays are better than expected, although I’d recommend you to bring your own hairdryer. My friends and me are very happy about the experience.

Review Body: Budi was very helpful and informative! even though our trip to ijen was cancelled as the road was blocked by a fallen tree, he made the best of it and went out of his way to drive us to a waterfall that wasn’t on the itinerary. he also drove us around surabaya and back to the airport. when we went it was very foggy and visibility was low as it was during the raining months so do plan to go at an appropriate time

Review Body: This trip was amazing! We were surprised of how huge and incredible the volcanos in Indonesia are. The hikes to the Bromo sunset and Bromo peak were fine, but the hike down the Ijen crater was a little scary, especially with many other tourists. Remember to bring raincoats for the water fall!

Embark on a whirlwind tour of East Java to witness its amazing natural beauty!
Short on time but want to see the best of East Java? This 3-day, 2-night private trip is perfect for you!Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through Java's volcanic heartland. This 3-day, 2-night private tour takes you to the otherworldly beauty of Tumpak Sewu waterfall, the ethereal sunrise at Mount Bromo, and the electric-blue flames of Ijen Crater. Your hosts, a tight-knit team from Probolinggo and Surabaya, bring a wealth of local knowledge and a passion for showing off the best of their homeland. They’ve honed their skills with a major agency and now offer the same top-notch service with a warm, personalized approach. Please note: A wildfire occurred in the Bromo area in early August 2026, impacting parts of the surrounding landscape. The fire has since been successfully extinguished, and as of 20 August 2026, all trips to Bromo are proceeding as normal. While your experience will not be affected, you may notice that some areas look drier or show signs of fire damage. The natural environment is recovering, and we appreciate your understanding.Note:The drives between Ijen and the other landmarks can be long (sometimes up to 7-8 hours), so it’s best for travellers who don’t mind a bit of road time in exchange for incredible views and experiences. If you’d prefer less travel, a shorter trip to Mount Bromo + Tumpak Sewu might be a better fit!You can do Bromo, Ijen, and Tumpak Sewu in 3D2N if you're short on time, but we really recommend taking this 4D3N if you had a little more flexibility in your schedule. It gives you time to rest in between stops and fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed. What to ExpectPrivate transportation with air conditioning throughout your journey.A thrilling 4WD Jeep ride to catch the sunrise at Mount Bromo.Comfortable accommodation near both Bromo and Ijen for two nights.Fuel up each morning with delicious breakfasts.Skip the lines with included entrance fees to Tumpak Sewu, Mount Bromo, and Ijen Crater.Benefit from the expertise of local guides for your Tumpak Sewu and Ijen Blue Fire treks.Stay safe with a provided gas mask for your Ijen Crater exploration.Peace of mind with a health report provided during the tour.TipsLunches and dinners are not included, please make sure to have cash on you as not all places will accept cards.Ensure you have travel insurance for peace of mind.Bring some extra cash for personal expenses like horse riding at Bromo or tips for your fantastic guides.Note :The host will arrange accommodation at a homestay once the booking is confirmed. Please note that the homestay is subject to change based on availability and scheduling. The host will provide an alternative option that is comparable to the one shown in this listing.Accommodation will also be arranged based on your drop-off location. For guests with a Surabaya drop-off, you will stay at Baratha Hotel and Restaurant in Bondowoso, as it is closer to Surabaya. If Baratha is not available, a similar hotel in the area will be arranged. As this area is relatively new to foreign tourism, most drivers speak very basic English and Jeep operators may not speak any English at all. However your host will organise all the relevant details in advance and you will have access to your host via Whatsapp during the trip. Please note a medical certificate from a local clinic is required to climb Mt Ijen. Your driver will help you to obtain this certificate while in Banyuwangi. This package does not include a Bromo local guide. You will be picked up by a jeep driver (please note most drivers don't speak English), who will drop you at the viewpoint. If you’d like to learn more about Bromo’s history and culture, a local guide is available as an add-on.

Dus... wie is Sophie?
