Trip was great itself but it’s not worth so much money. We were really lucky to see some animals. Guide was really kind but just show us the animals and that’s it, no explanation or any talk. Anyway I recommend this kind of trip, elephants gonna make you happy.

We did a safari of Yala National Park with Eagle Safari Jeep Service and it was fantastic. Our driver Tuti was fantastic. He’s a great guide and safe driver. He was able to show us all the animals and even found a leopard for us hiding in a colvert.
Lunch was provided by the beach which was delicious and enjoyable.
The Jeep was very comfortable too.
highly recommend a tour with this company.

There are many operators that provide this Yala Safari experience.
My advice - pick someone that values personal safety higher than Eagle.
The driving was reckless and dangerous, and quiet unnecessary under the circumstances. I really feared for my family's safety.
The wildlife is wonderful, but given that the safari jeeps are not fitted with safety belts, an accident could have unpleasant consequences.
No amount of wonderful wildlife experiences can offset the experience of reckless and dangerous driving.
Avoid Eagle Safaris.

We visited Yala on 26th Dec 2016. Since we had our 10 year old son with us, he was expecting many wild animals to be seen in the safari. Through our agent we booked a full day safari with Eagle Jeep Safari Yala and Kumar was our driver cum guide for it. He is a gem of a person.
Firstly .. as the gates open at 6 am please make sure you reach early.. because there are hundreds of jeeps lined up.. We had a smooth and early start.. Saw many animals like wild buffaloes, wild boars, crocodiles, peacocks, deers, sambars and wild elephants...
And highlight of the day was we saw 2 leopards playing with each other on branch of the tree.. Throughtout the day these leopards were sighted by us almost 6 times..
All we could spot was because of excellent knowledge of the roads by Kumar...
He took us to many of the less driven roads ..He was really helping us to spot different animals driving for the whole day and giving us information as and when required of the various flora and fauna..
The 4 X 4 drive vehicle was ultimate when he drove us from one of the dried river beds and also on rocks.. It was adventurous.
The hotel had managed to provide us with breakfast and lunch.. Seeing the animals and the beautiful landscape for the whole day was mesmerizing feeling..
Few tips : As we had booked a full day tour, kumar carried chilled water bottles.. Also he gave us a set of binoculars.. we too had carried ours.
Please do carry sunglasses, binoculars, sunscreen,, Also as the roads get dusty please carry a scarf to cover face or at least nose..
Because of Kumar we had an exciting safari... truly ..

We travelled with Eagle safari and our driver was very good. He made every effort to make sure we saw as many animals as possible and seemed to be the one every other jeep driver was following. We saw a lone elephant eating close by and a herd of elephants heading towards the river. Both times we were close enough to really appreciate it. Other than that there were many birds, deer, water buffalo and croc. Need to go and explore the other national parks which I've heard good things about too.
