Unlike most tea tastings that focus on one region or tradition, this private Omakase-style tea session takes you on a journey across the world of tea - from earthy Chinese oolongs to floral Japanese brews. With no fixed menu and teas sourced from the host’s personal travels, this is a chance to explore rare brews you may not find online or in shops. Share your current tea favourites and preferences, and your host will thoughtfully select and serve teas on the spot - some familiar with a twist, others designed to gently push your palate and expand how you experience tea.Cheryl, your host, has spent years travelling across Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Europe and Southeast Asia in search of the world’s most fascinating teas. She’s visited hidden tea rooms, taken spontaneous lessons from local brewers, and built friendships with farmers who opened their homes, fields and stories to her. Each cup is a glimpse into a different culture, a different story, and a different moment in time.Set in a cosy home with a maximum of 5 guests, this is ideal for tea lovers who want to go beyond the basics and deeply connect with each brew. You'll get to see the brewing process up close and enjoy thoughtful food pairings you wouldn’t expect - think beer-battered hotteok or Vietnamese-style tsukemen.
