This is a fantastic idea where people cook a meal for you in their own home so you get the real home cooking & family experience. Despite only recently getting in from work, mum and dad pitched in with the girls to cook us a lovely meal. Whilst some dishes were, as the girls put it, weird to us they appreciated us trying them out and as they later said "When in Rome". Moon Mama's family were delightful and great fun with limited english no barrier to the international language of laughter. We were even serenaded to "the one that got away" by Katy Perry by the younger sister on her ukulele. Taxi back to the hotel in the pouring rain but a great night out. Many thanks girls.

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to a private residence we were given the opportunity to go in the kitchen and help prepare our meal! We all participated in cooking the food (though Moon Mama mother did most of the work!), and then we all sat as a family in their living room and ate the meal together. The family was so welcoming to us, and Sophia even gave us a tour of their lovely home, explaining the things we were seeing. What an authentic Vietnamese evening we had over dinner, sharing and learning about each other's customs and lives. It was an evening in Saigon that we will never forget.

We had such a great night at Moon Mama’s house—she’s truly an absolute vibe. Warm, funny, and full of heart, she made everyone feel right at home, sharing recipes and making sure no one ever leaves hungry. The highlight? Sipping her homemade plum wine while she sang a sweet Vietnamese folk song. The meal was delicious, but it was the energy and laughter that made the night unforgettable. Thank you Moon Mama and her family!

Brilliant food and company. what a great initiative. cab journey across town to local open food market and on to Moon Mama's lovely home and five hours of food, fun and enthusiasm. cant rate these three young ladies highly enough. great times

Amazing tour! Our tour guide, Bao, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Everyone at the farm was friendly and excited to share their culture, food and time with us.
We were looking for a tour that allowed us to learn about local produce and experience a farm. This tour delivered that! We got to learn about rice paddies, see a market and learn about local herbs.
We cooked delicious dishes and learned things that we will be able to do at home too.
This was a great tour and we would highly recommend it!

went for their guided cooking tour and absolutely love it!!! guide bao was very attentive to us and shared with us interesting facts about vietnam. We cycled and went to the local market, before heading back to the farm to cook. It was a really lovely time there and would 100% encourage people to come for the tour if they are in HCM

Very authentic experience in an amazing setting. We shopped for ingredients, got explaination on the Vietnam fruits and meanwhile enjoying daily life in Vietnam. Our guide is super lovely and had helping you out with any problem you might have. Best thing to do in Ho Chi Minh city!!
