Two days trip in August (Rainy season) no sun at all and almost no animali sight. Our trip was great with surraundings and hotel and the Guide, Lisa, did her best to make our tour enjoyable and funny! March to May are the suggested months to get the most out of what the tour is offering unless you love rain and don't mind to get wet aaaaallll day.

This is a once in a lifetime experience and extremely worth it if you’re outdoorsy. We saw elephants, Monkeys . A pig. The room was nice. The food was amazing. The staff is thorough and friendly. I made friends. And the mountains and water were unforgettable. You have to be flexible that rain or other things may impact the itinerary - but you get partial refunds if anything isn’t doable. You also get freedom to kayak. Swim. Explore for monkeys. Play games in their family area. Very very great experience I’ll never forget.

Cheow Lan Lake is magnificent, and staying at Praiwan was a great way to experience it intensely if only for one night. Away from the other floating houses so very quiet, it is nestled in the jungle with all the pros and cons that come with it (being on the lake in the middle of the jungle all very humid and many animals/insects). The deluxe room was tiny but comfortable, the staff friendly although not speaking much English (except the reception girl). We liked the meals, basic but tasty cuisine. Either way it was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend it to those looking for a wild and immersive adventure. The only downside was the guide who took us hiking even though he spoke English he didn't engage you much, during the trek I would have liked to have some tips for spotting animals.
