If I could give this magical place 10 stars, I totally would!
I was travelling solo, and I spent three wonderful days here. This stay was truly the most authentic experience of my life although I've been to 62 countries and on countless trips! Unforgettable!
Adun, Kao, and Mali took the best care of me. I felt like I was part of their family. My little house was just perfect, it was cosy, had all the basic necessities, and quite a comfortable bed, I slept like a baby!
I joined all kinds of workshops and activities, I felt so welcome, and every single day was full of joy. What an amazing place to disconnect from our stressful daily lives and learn how to slow down!
We cooked meals, danced, sang, built a mud house, made traditional Thai medicine, picked vegetables in the garden, created our own tye dye designs, had beautiful and meaningful conversations, stargazed.
They have a traditional Thai clinic as well where you can arrange for a massage.
The coffeeshop on site is a delight, too. Their coffee is so delicious and comes straight from the farm!
Adun took me on a short hike, and I am so grateful for this experience.
Oh, and their cats! Absolutely adorable, friendly cats everywhere!
I will never forget my time enjoyed here. And I can't recommend this place enough. I miss these people already, and I hope to come back one day soon enough.

Absolutely amazing! 👍👍 10/10
This is hands down the best concept for a workshop I’ve ever seen. Huge respect to the owner — they’re a city person who’s fallen deeply in love with nature, truly understands it, and knows how to connect with it on every level. As someone who also loves cooking, they’ve opened up my kitchen — and my worldview — so much more. Their care for knowing the source of every ingredient, how it’s prepared, and their curiosity to learn and share with others can be felt in every single activity and every step they guide you through. I’m genuinely in love with their mindset and way of life.
The best learning setting ever — the atmosphere, the nature — it’s all incredible.
A simple classroom in the mountains, where you get to chat with the village elder who actually makes tea up on the hill, and even hike up to see cinnamon trees I never thought I’d get to see in my life.
The best stay, too — the simple, raw design is filled with thoughtful touches.
I can’t really put it into words, but you can just feel how good it is. Waking up to million-dollar views you’ll never find in the city — right in front of you is Doi Luang Chiang Dao. The air is 18 degrees, no air-con, just a small fan — and it’s more than enough. When you bring yourself back to nature like this, this stay is more than enough — not fancy, but it makes you so happy. The message the owner sends really reaches you.
And I will definitely come back… without a doubt.

For anyone who wants to try trekking but isn’t very confident, join this trip! The atmosphere is super friendly, the guides take great care of everyone, and the food is delicious with generous portions—you’ll definitely be full. The guides provide both knowledge and entertainment. Overall, it’s really good! I had so much fun and came away with many wonderful memories.

I had such an incredible private workshop here. Siripohn was easy to coordinate with and her studio is so beautiful and well equipped. You can understand the full process of indigo cultivation and play with many different techniques. She is such an amazing artist with so much knowledge to share. & The food is amazing :)

We had such an amazing time and experience here. If you are interested in dyeing with natural colors, this place is a must. Thank you again and we will come back!

This was super cool to learn and try! We’ve never tried this form of clay kneading before so it was really cool. We had to pound, sift the soil and then after we had a bunch of sifted soil we poured water into it to start making it into clay. Then we did handbuilding from there and then sent it to be fired. It was quite therapeutic and it took us about 2h for the whole experience. All the meals were so yummy and authentic.
Our guides during the raft experience were also very nice! It was also a very relaxing journey. We rafted to a spot where we could forage for food, and they would share more about each of the plant then help us pluck or let us pluck the plants.
For the dinner prep, we got to cut up the ingredients, fold banana leaves for the omelette dishes, and then make tom yum soup in bamboo boats. It was really interesting to learn how to cook that, and relatively simple. Didn’t require much cooking knowledge. The tom yum soup turned out great and delicious. We could also configure the spice level as we had 2 soups, so we had one with much less spice.
The yoga class was relatively chill, and it was more of a stretching exercise. We could also tailor it to our preferences e.g. if we wanted more back stretching. It was nice to have done it outside in the sun, and thankfully the weather was still cooling enough to not feel like we were burning outdoors.
They made fresh coffee afterwards in moka pots for us, and it was delicious! We sat around the campfire (it was still burning our pottery pieces) and enjoyed it before our breakfast. Super good coffee!
Overall one of the most unique experiences we had in Chiang Dao, but definitely be prepared to rough it out a bit!
